Called me offered a gift card to Lowe's or Walmart...which is suspicious because i was just on those sites, then offered to come to my house and do a water test. They already knew my exact address which is scary I just moved here I do not like this.

Not calling. Makes me mad tho. It was in my mailbox today. Post marked in Tampa.

Just received a bright pink card similar to all the above from the V.F.W. warning of a water alert.  We just moved to The Villages. Must be a scam.   Won't waste my time.   Glad to read all the other messages.  This has apparently been going on a long time!!!!

Received a call and a card that says Water Alert V.F.W

Just got this card I called guy asked me what city I live in and asked if I was homeowner or renter...I rent he said it was sent to me in error my water is fine

866-204-4386 I got a call from this number claiming I have a lawsuit against me.

Received a pink WATER ALERT! Postcard from "VFW" in the mail...knew it was a scam...#1 I have a well. #2 the VFW has NOTHING to do with water quality. #3 They spelled my last name wrong.

They did this also, but called also if you did not call them.  it is a scam. Unfortunately when you type in, the initials of the company, the only thing that came up was Veterans of Foreign War.  Wonder if the company actually exists.

I received a pink postcard with WATER ALERT! at the top of the card. Also it has V.F.W. on the bottom.

I received a pink card today with water alert. So they are still sending these out. I live in the Tampa  Florida area.

I got this in Pasco county. People must be cooked by it if they're still sending them out. I never call any # I see on a card, usually a scam

You know it's a scam when everything is a secret. No return address on their cards, never leave a message on voicemail . Scam, Scam, Scam and you work for them Scammer.

The day we received the card we woke up to our garden hose being left on.

Not a scam huh?? " Water Alert??? What does VFW stand for??? You don't see anything misleading about implying people's water has issues??? Try putting info on the card so they don't waste their time calling the " company "!!! A little honesty would help here.

definite sales scam - when i tried to call the number no one answered. my phone rang back almost immediately. someone stating water impurtiy - not calling on behalf of water company - trying to sell purifier

Received a bright pink post card saying "water alert". I did not call as I'm on well water. I knew it was a scam once I received it.

Got pink postcard in the mail today. Same as described above so this scam is still going on!
