- Stephanie KenneyFrom Concord, NC...Got a yellow card reading "WATER UPDATE"....She tried telling me I would get a $50 gift card to ANY restaurant. I thought it was a little too good to be true, glad I read these!
- tonySame here, I received it today and googled the number. Thanks guys it saved me a phone call.
Shame on those that prey on the elderly, they should be fined for harassment or put in jail for scamming.
1-866-204-0720 - Mike DSame here. Neon yellow card, WATER ALERT!
Horse hockey! :)- Call type: Telemarketer
- Mike D| 1 replyYou know... I was just searching through my blocked caller list, and I found that I had blocked the same local number that was posted here earlier - 727 324 4078.
I just got a new phone number. Something tells me this underhanded company buys directory listings (weekly?) looking for new/changed numbers and then tries to bomb them with calls. When the calls don't work (or they are blocked like I did), they send the card.- Call type: Telemarketer
- EllieJust received their bright neon lime colored Water Alert card in the mail saying they tried to reach me by phone first
- Caller: Water Alert
- AmariWe got the same green card that every one else is describing. Figured it was a scam since it was sent via bulk mail with no return address and our address was sloppily hand written. Even the cheapest business uses printed labels for their official mailings.
- Skeptical replies to deeI actually called them, they're eager and sending someone out within the hour to test our water. They ask a lot of questions that have nothing to do with our water, but they sneak them in. Very strange, it seems like it might be part of an information gathering program as well as just to sell thier own water purifiers. Maybe they sell leads to other companies or something if they pick up on how you could be marketed to.
- Mrs MacYou can thank your phone company for selling your information if you get this postcard in the mail. Ours said Water Alert and gave us 48 hrs to call. I googled the number and in addition to this site found the number listed with the BBB.

- Pinellas Park webgurllReceived the neon green postcard today. And they do not offer to test your water first, I demanded to know what the card was for and the guy lost his temper and said our water was contaminated and they wanted to let us know about it. I didn't give him any information whatsoever even though he repeatedly tried to get it out of me. SCAMMERS!!!

Thanks Guys. - super1| 1 replyJust to let you all know that Victory First Water is a water purification company that offers a free test of your tap water to raise awareness to what you are consuming everyday (the stuff that your government does not tell you) and as for praying on old people that is not true . Mary (owner) does not allow a tech. to go to a home of an elderly person's home unless they are fully informed of what will take place and they have a family member in the home for the free test and as for Mary she has been known to help everyone she can. There once was a call that came in an old lady who was raising her grandchildren there mom just passed away there Dad was in prison. Mary went out of way to bring them food and cloths and probably gave her money (Mary would never tell) she does not seek praise for her deeds form people but from God.
