On my cell phone.  Private number, only answer calls I know who made them.  Don't know how they got my number.  If it's a car warranty, they're barking up the wrong tree, my car is a 1994, I'm pretty sure it's out of warranty by now!  Wish they'd quit calling my number.

I get various calls similar to this one. I don't know why I used to even bother picking up, since 100% of the time it was some scam.

They left a voice-mail on my work line at 8:07PM...car warranty BS.

Called back and the number didnt work...hate this crap

They just called me on a number I've only had for a week or so. It's definitely a scam because no accounts associated with my car have any knowledge of this phone number.

I tried to call them back (to give them a piece of my mind), and was told that my call could not be completed as dialed.

I sure hope they call me back so I can tell them exactly what I think of them.

If you try to call them back you get an error message that doesn't quite sound like the real one.  Also, the error message hangs up on you unusually quick.

I think this indicates that the message is faked, and the hanging up is to get you off a line that could otherwise be hassling people and phishing for those gullible enough to push "1."

This and other numbers keep calling my cell and my home numbers.  It's really annoying.  It's always about a car warranty.

A call on our cellphone from 866-209-7845 and that given on a post card 'warning' and 'final notification' that our car warranty has expired come from Source One, a car warranty sales company in Franklin TN. The number on the post card to call 'to activate' was 888-650-6856.

Isn't a call to a cellphone that is for sales purposes, illegal under the Do Not Call?

recived call on my cell phone.  Didn't answer. Saw "866" and thought it was a telemarketer. Screen showed  "Name Unknown."
Tried calling back and only get a busy signal.  Tried about 30 times!!  Hmmm?

I got 2-3 calls a week from them out of their Dallas location.
I finally talked to one of their reps on the phone and told him if they called me one more time, I would drive up to Dallas and kill every one of those Mofo's myself.
I haven't got a callback since.

It's a scam to get as much information about who you are. As for how they get your number it's a computer program that cycles through all the possible numbers for certain prefixes.

Don’t give them the time of day, contact your state representative and file a complaint to the FCC. If they get enough calls and letters from us they will shut down the number.

The only unfortunate thing is that the scammer will get a new number and start this vicious cycle again. Most of these scammers are from another country so they won’t get prosecuted. All we can do is continue to file our complaints and get our elected officials and our government agencies involved, so that they will get tired of us calling them about this problem and see if they can come up with some new laws that has “teeth” to stop this problem.

I can't stand these calls.  We're powerless.  :(

I've been getting this same kinda of call but from a different number when I called the 1st number it took me off the list. When I try to call the number thats been callling now I get a busy sound. Funny thing is this same number calls my work (A new car dealership) and gives us the same message. I'd love to get a hold of them and be like..so you wanna renew 200 cars? lol..bah..I hate scams..

They kept calling my cell and i don't even have a car...... they called me during school and i lost my phone and got 2 detentions.

i have AT & T lines and they keep calling me day and night. i think AT & T phone company selling our data to advertising company. Be Careful!!!!

Oh, the scams. . .it's like try turning off the speed-dial function on your cell, you may own the phone, but the marketing department owns it's functions.

In the early days of electricity, the power companies in this country would go around giving away free light bulbs to encourage customers to use electricity.  It was a way of boosting billable watt hours - no doubt this may be some back-channel consultant for the phone companies to boost wireless usage to achieve similar billable line charges.

I'm sure they're ardent supporters of the GOP, and the company has some fuzzy-good-feel name like 'Keep My Phone Free, LLC'
