unwanted solicitor.

Twice. Fri am 3/13/09 and Mon am 3/16/09. Calling re: the expiring warranty on my vehicle. I recently bought a used vehicle with a warranty. So was curious. I called my salesman at CarMax (where I bought it) and he confirmed the call did not come from CarMax. A scam.

im with verizon..this same # called me...donno what the deal is.

this person keeps calling on my unlisted cell phone. and I want it stopped.

I am sick of getting unwanted call on cell phone from 866-209-7845 regarding vehicle warranty.

Same for me, AT&T, I never pick up numbers that I don't recognize... I just put em into switchboard.com and if that doesn't work I google, which is how I got here. They didn't leave a message.

They've been calling my house for weeks now and today, they called my work cell. Last week I pressed "1" so I could speak with a real person about these annoying calls. The man who came on the line immediately asked for the details about my car and when I said "Which car?," he hung up. Today, I pressed "2" in hopes that they won't call again. Don't be fooled, these warranty calls are definitely a scam.

They are so aggravating!!!!!! They call during my classes and my phone vibrates. I get calls from them all the time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I keep getting these call's on my home phones, cell phone and office phone. How do I get these call to stop. They are doing it morning noon and night

Just received a call from this #.  Did not recognize so I did not pick up.  As others noted it refers to warranty - I leased a car years ago and would have warranty renewal info mailed to me as well which I am unsure if the two are related.  These calls have just started on my cell phone which I did not have years ago.

I got a call at work, at a Federal Government facility, and when I asked what car it was for they said it would have to be my vehicle between the years 1999 and 2007.  When I asked why he was calling me at a Government facility, I was immediatly hung up on!

Received this scam message at the fire station.

I have been getting the auto warranty call for the past year on my cell phone. I no longer answer calls if I do not recognize the number. Once I check the number on line it always corresponds to the auto warranty scam.
I get a call at most 1x per week.
I gave my phone number to a few companies who transport vehicles across the country. I believe one of these companies sold my number.

HA...hahahahaha...That's the thing you can't seem to understand.  It's really not a scam at all.  While some reps panic when faced with angry callers and hang up, that's their deal.  I never hung up on anyone.  And while I didn't enjoy the job, I'm 20 years old and trying to support myself while going to school full time.  I was making good money.  It's a job.  Who are you to judge me when you know nothing about me?  I'm not the one who should be ashamed of themselves, it's you.

I first got this call almost 2 years ago.  got it every couple months, no big deal.  now I get it atleast 2 or 3 x a week. always from different numbers too.  sometimes its from vista marketing.  I don't know what to do but it's bordering on harassment.

I got this call on my cell phone, but did not answer since I did not recongnize the phone number.  They did not leave a message, but when tried to call back, the number was not valid?...

Same here... just got the call at my office... our vehicle is in my husband's name only.  I knew it was bogus so asked her what her company's name is, she said The Extended Warranty dept.  I said for which manufacturer?  She said we cover all major manufacturers.  I said which of my vehicles are you referring to... she said they don't have that information.  By the time the issue gets to them, their responsibility is to contact the owner about the last chance to extend the warrantly... and they don't need other info.  I hung up on her.  My operator talked very fast, Southern accent.

I too got a call from this number during the day, thinking it was important I answered. No response. Disconnect, called the number back. And a female operator said "the call can not be connected as dialed" ...WTF!
