I just got this phone call and didn't answer.  I looked it up and found this site.  They call at all times of day and I have phone service through Time Warner!

automated call.
Called my work number and offered a "warranty" on my car. I have no car younger than 7 years. I don't want them calling a state office number.

I actually worked for this company at one point.  Here's a little info I can give out...
1.  Pressing "2" does nothing but disconnect the call.  Don't waste your time.  
2.  Representatives are required by LAW to remove your number from the list at your request.  
3.  Removing your number however only last for two weeks and then they can, and will call you again.
4.  There are about 15 companies that do the same thing.  Yes, you have to talk to all of them.
5.  If you want off the list for good, you can go to NationalDoNotCallList.com; this should work.
6.  If you think you were removed from the list by simply screaming into the phone "remove me from your G** d*** f****** l***!!!" or something similar and hanging up, you're wrong.  
7.  Finally, the warranties are actually NOT A SCAM!  I have one on my car and it's great.  The calls are just annoying.

Your phone isn't supposed to be on during school anyways.  You SHOULD have got it taken away

The call was to a cell phone when the persson witht he cell phone was teaching in a high school classroom.

i hate it. how do i block this people from calling me. it annoys me so much. i am waiting for calls from employers for jobs interviews and i thought an employer was calling but it turned it just some scams. something has to be done!!!

While it is not a solution, it may avoid the annoyance.  Since I don’t have an option to block the number on my cell phone, what I’ve done is added the number to my address brook, recorded 4-5 seconds of dead air(silence), and then made that the ring tone for that new contact.  This way, if the number calls, I am at least not bothered and I don’t pay for the call unless I pick it.  Again, it is not a solution, but a possible work around.

Called my Cell number, I have blocked the number on my VOIP phone service.
The Cell call cost me $0.25 for the 6 seconds to listen and hang up; the information I relay helps me to feel like I am recovering my investment.

Schools can't take phones away anymore. In the event of an emergency that phone is sometimes the student's only link to emergency services inside or out of the classroom. The phone should be on but silent.

This number called @ 2:30 cell phone.I always answer 800 numbers and keep them on the phone as long as possible with bullsh*t just to make they're phone bill go up.If EVERYBODY did this they would go bankrupt quickly.Also when you get junk mail that says return postage paid upon receipt,gift wrap a brick and tape the envalope to the outside,mail it,and they'll have to pay poatage when it gets there,ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

I use Vonage for my service and I also receive calls from this number. When they call me they do not leave messages. I agree with the comment about not calling them back. Why call someone back if you are not aware of who they are?

Call received yesterday afternoon. NO message was left. I was interested to note the information here that this is that car warranty place.

got a call from them ata their 949 216 9175 number two days ago and one from this number here a few minutes ago. Leave me alone [***].

You should be ashamed of yourself working for a company that randomly harrasses people. Job or not you worked for a bunch of crooks and you know it. How is it not a scam if some of these people (including myself) don't even have cars? Also when asked legitimate questions the reps hang up....that's not suspicious to you?

i have been on the no call list since its inception but these guys have called me at least 5 times and when i try to tell them im not supposed to be called ...before i can finish they hang up. i tryed to call them and find their business name ...you cant get connected by dialing the number. now i have complained to the fcc.....but obviously they have bunches of complaints on this number........our whole government needs to be erased and restarted by people who will do their job....no wonder people go beserk in this country $&^":%%$***$$*^% fcc
