- SoupThis stumped me, but I remember the "Superpass" from signing up with Comcast back in March. Will call to cancel (the number showed up in my transaction history).
- JennyFound this charge (37.70) on my dad's account for Feb. Called Capital One and they put me on the line with the merchant who kept insisting that I had to e-mail them to find out what the purchase was and that they couldn't dispute with without taking to the cardholder. I explained (and CApital One backed me up) that I'd provided the documentation to establish me as power of attorney for this account. He didn't budge.
I explained that my dad had not been on his computer since mid-November, doesn't drive and cannot hear on the phone so it was impossible for him to have made a purchase. The merchant refused to do anything but give me an e-mail.
Thankfully Capital One is reporting it as fraud. - Jenny replies to HiTechredneckMy farther cannot hear. I doubt he signed up for Rhapsody.
- JBI saw the $14.99 charges on my online billing statement and I guess I never questioned it before. Well this time I called the number because I knew I hadn't made any charges that day. I found out that Time Warner Cable signed me up for a promotion (which I'm not getting any extra services for) and have been getting charged for 6 months. Time Warner Cable is the worst company I've ever had to deal with. They've been charging me a higher amount than they quoted since I started with them and I don't call becuase they are rediculous to deal with because everyone says something different... now this? I'm cancelling today!
- BobQI received a monthly service charge of $14.99 from "RN *superpass from REA" and I have not joined this company and received no email and no statement at all. They have charged me since march, 2011. I just find it this morning. When I called me, nobody answered me.

- Rhoda HunterI received a charge on my credit card of $34.99 that was titled "RN Superpass from REA 866-212-1343 WAUS" which caused some problems with my account. I do not have a home phone so I do not understand how this could have happened.
What can I do?- Caller: Unknown
- brown| 1 replyi called the number that was included in the transaction from my bank account. i asked what this was as i didn't remember ever paying 16.23 for anything. he told me it was because i downloaded McAfee and somehow signed up for the real player, etc. i cancelled my account and told him becuase i didn't ever use the programs, if he could refund the 16.23 dollars. i got to say he was nice enough to see if he could, and a few minutes later he came back on, telling me that they could refund my money. so let's see if its refund in 3-4 business days. *crosses fingers*

I signed up for the Superpass downloading service when I started my internet service with Time Warner. The service never showed up on my Time Warner bill and I never received any instructions on how to use it so I thought that the Time Warner Rep failed to sign me up. But then I received a charge for $14.99 on my Visa. The Customer Service Rep. said that they did not have a Return Policy. For those of you who do not know already; DO NOT ever fall for this! EVERY company has to have a return policy. IT'S THE LAW! Especially for "services never rendered." Which I told the Representative. AND being in the Customer Service field myself I know that it is much cheaper for a specific company to credit back individual accounts than it is if a consumer calls their Credit Institution (Visa, MC etc.) to have the charge disputed. I told my CSR this as well and he said that he would talk to his Supervisor to see what he could do. Common call Center tactic. Credit was given in full. - cryskat| 1 replyI also found three months of charges from these guys and when I called he couldn't even find a account with my email address, however could find another account with my name and a email account that wasn't even mine. Won't credit me so I am disputing the charges on my CC.

- AbbyME TOO!!!! I filed a fraud claim against them with through my bank. They are obviously scamming a lot of people and they need to get thrown in Jail. I noticed a $14.99 transaction for 4 months on my statement and was so confused. Call your bank and file charges against them!
- Abby replies to cryskatCall your bank and file a claim against them.
- JeffI just found out the same thing when I look my bank account information. They charged me for 19 months before I found out. I should pay more attention to my account. But I swear to God, I never sign up for such service by myself.
They said they had sent me an email when they open the account. I checked, Yes, I indeed receive an email about an account open. But there is no information about charge fee! NO information about charge FEE. No information about what this service is. No information that I will be charged.
There is no other email about statement, about fee at all. All I got is one email saying an account open and there is no information about what this service is, what the fee is.
I asked for refund and they only agrees to refund me for 12 months! That's UNFAIR. I am not going to pay a dime for service that I did not ask for, did not use at all.
Will keep pushing them for that. This kind of company should be eliminated!- Caller: 8662121343
- Faye NationsCharge for $16.04 posted today (2/21) and I have no idea what it is for. By reading other comments, I am checking on this.

- MelSo I read my bank statement earlier this month. I noticed a WEIRD charge I got for $14.99. It was weird because I had no idea what store it was and I am pretty good about checking my bank statement. But still, I didnt really think much of it. So couple days went by...finally I took an initiative n looked it up online. And came across articles stating that it's a scam, etc. So I went on this one website n called this number to cancel it. And thankfully, got my money back a few days after the conversation I had with the operator.
- Mom Jo replies to Mom VickiThanks for this information! I called up and they were very nice and I got a refund. The charge that came through in February was for a 'trial' that was signed up for last summer in order to get the additional Big Brother live feeds. So technically I guess we approved this somewhere in the fine print of signing up for Big Brother. :-( I told the kids 'no more Big Brother subscriptions!!'
- ZMACKSo... Yeah, I had this issue for the past few months. After opening a fraud case with the bank, they got the representative from Superpass on the line and we came to the conclusion that when I had signed up for Comcast, TimeWarner/RealNetworks continued to bill me without my knowledge. No emails, phone calls, nothing.. They didnt even have the right email on their account. The representative from RealNetworks just kindof waived it off saying, "Sorry, I can refund you for your last month." Quite aggravating, but hopefully the bank will cover the rest...
