- MickeyI am in the process to get money back from Visa for monthly charges of $14.99. The problem
started when I signed up for Big Brother on line. BB has been over since summer and charges
still appear on my bills. I have cancelled my credit card but was notified that a charge was
attempted on my account in November. Contact Visa Dispute - PO Box 8097, Mason OH 45044 if charges were made on your Visa card. I also tried to contact 866-212-1343 to cancel further
charges but got someone very evasive who refused to give me any details about their company. - Shannon Jacobes| 1 replyI have this charge on my CC an have no idea what it is... it says RN Rhapsody Dec.
Merry Christmas!
Thanking you in advanced,
Shannon Jacobes
southernblondecutie@yahoo.com - TommyI signed up for Comcast internet and this [***] got added to my account and charged me for the last 2 months. Called and yelled at them to get this [***] refunded and canceled.
- LeadPerson contacted at number claims I contracted for anti-virus software. Never! Clearly fraudulent. Same story as above
- Lead replies to Shannon JacobesCall the number and have them stop billing or they will keep it up forever! It's a fraud!
- EvanWhat a bogus mess this company is. I just notices a 14.06 monthly charge with the Real BB essentials and number of 866 212 1343. I NEVER downloaded Real Player, I NEVER signed up for Superpass. All I did was buy a broken ring around my BB trackball I think. I am going to call my bank and get them off and call them and read them the riot act. Glad to read the stuff in this area to help.

- Jeff in GASame thing here and it too was tied to McAfee. First off I'm dealing with the Credit Card folks to get it stopped, my next step is to dump McAfee as I guarantee you they are playing a part in this whole deal! There are other anti-virus folks out there and they JUST earned my business!!!
- cmarsellaOur account got charged 15.89. We ordered a dsi, which never came so we cancelled the order. Along with the dsi we were to get a free trial to this place for whatever it is and after so long, you had to cancel it if you didnt want it. We never got the product, but still got charged for this product after the free trial period was over. We are just calling about it today. They better reimburse us!

- john replies to Same ting happen to memccafferty security seems to be programed in on most new computers
- jrbeware if you have recently signed up with comcast!!!!
you will get a free trial from realnetworks for some kind of service.
then your credit card will get billed when you don't cancel before 30 days.
I had to cancel my bankcard to make sure I didn't charged again.
beware of anything FREE!!!!! - jtmnoxvilleJust had this happen to me too! Cancled my rhapsody account over a year ago. The best thing you can do is dispute the charges with your credit card company. This affects the merchant accounts of rhapsody, it also costs money for every charge back that rhapsody recieves. They likley figure that some people will not catch it.
- fraud victim replies to BeverlyThey got my debit card number when I had tried to order Comcast. I ended up canceling the Comcast order before I received any services but I had two fraudulent charges on my account. Superpass from REA was one of them. I called them to cancel and called my bank to request that the charges be deemed fraud. I had to cancel my debit card and get a new one. I hope this helps other victims of this unscrupulous organization.
- BryanThe Contact # for Rhapsody is 866-597-5505
Just called them to credit my account that I did not approve of for rebilling - ValeriyGot the same problem with $14.99 monthly charges for the last 2 monthes. Never ordered their service, even haven't heard of it ever. Called to the number 866-212-1343 today and they promissed to refund me sum they charged last month.
Theft! - DaleI found a charge for $16.41 on my account and called 1-866-212-1343 and got them to refund back to my account $131.28. If you it like I did, state that your disabled and thank them for any little thing they agree to. I find that if go at these kind of things like a tough guy, your going to get squat.
- Nell| 1 replySame deal - I just noticed a $37 charge on my cc, and then when I called my cc we found another from December.
Not sure what the deal was exactly - I think that my information was auto-populated form something else I purchased online - but I was firm in saying that I had no intent to purchase their product, that I had never used their product, and that I had no interest in using their product in the future (thank you, am sure is great but I don't have a need...etc), and in under 15 minutes they refunded both charges.
So, yes, they fraudulently obtained my info, but at least the people who I spoke to on the phone were nice and could be reasoned with. I'll feel much better when I actually get my refunds, but I'm optimistic based on my conversation just now.- Caller: RealPlayer
- NMman replies to NellThanks for sharing. Same thing happen to me. I noticed my credit card was charged for $14.99 last month and have asked my credit card company change the account information. To my surprise, the same charge appears again this month.
Looking back, I found this is a monthly charge since I started subscribing cable service from Comcast 6 months ago.
It is so annoying they get to access to one's account without authorization, and even after I have changed my account number.
I called the number and spoke to two people there. They acknowledged that they got my info at Comcast. They canceled my account with them that I never signed and promised to refund all the charges in a week. I feel the people I talked to are nice and I'm optimistic in getting my money back. - doI was told it was a free "Super Pass" 30-day trial when signing up with Comcast. The number they gave me to cancel at anytime is 888-768-3248. After 30 days I was charged $12.99. When calling to cancel (I pressed option 3 for "support of consumer products or any subscription based service," then the Super Pass option, then cancellation) they answered as Real Networks and asked for a account number, I gave them a confirmation # given to me when signing up with Comcast. They said the subscription would be cancelled that same day. Hopefully they will! It does post as "RN *REAL BB ESSENTIALS 866-212-1343 WA" on bank statements.
- hopethere are two charges to my account do not know what for and who are these people, I will have my institution discontinue these payments.
