This happened to me too - I just discovered credit card charges over the past 3 months on my Visa.

    They are the following:
RN *REAL BB ESSENTIALS 866-212-1343 WA
RN *SUPERPASS FROM REA 866-212-1343 WA

This really pisses me off that Real Networks is allowing all this fraud to take place by not requiring validation on credit cards. I will be calling them tomorrow.

Exact same thing for me -- 2 months of unauthorized subscriptions to arcade game pass and Bb essentials.  Thankfully American Express will manage the dispute process since I don't have an account number or any other notice from RealNetworks verifying the subscripton.  Slimey.

I found this charge from Real Networks on my credit card.  I have received no service or product from them - Real Networks   Real player Superpass - never use this company or their products.  They are engaging in fraud.

I found another number linked to this one. I just called and they cancelled my unauthorized subcription.  The bank/credit card co. will refund your money not this co. 1-866-585-4541 (SuperPass / RealPlayer / Rhapsody)

I just found that charge on my cc statement in my email.  I am disputing this charge and canceling whatever subscription this is attached to. This is poor business practice. I am also reporting this to BBB.

This company is far from FRAUD guys! If you ever subscribed to REAL ARCADE games, or/and have a GAME PASS with them, you are being charched 7.99/month or $9.99/game. I used to be a member with them for over 2 years, but unfortunately have no time to play now so i cancelled my memebrship with no problems at all. Just try to locate Real Arcade in your computer.

I have been charged on my Discover Card three months in a row for 12.99.  After the third month I decided to check with my credit card company and they told me to check with the business first, so I decided to look on the internet and found this to be an act of fraud.

The charge on my bill for this was a total shock. We didn't remember signing up for any "Superpass," (which, when I found out what Superpass was, is something we wouldn't be interested in in a million years) only Rhapsody. But there was the item in the bill, sticking out like a (huge/expensive) sore thumb right in the middle of some Rhapsody charges.

I called them and had a phone call which was, shall I say, uh, difficult to understand. The main gist of it seemed to be that while the account was cancelled within the free period, the account could still be used until some future date. Was the person saying that was the reason for the charge? I can't say, that was one part of it that was difficult to understand.

My contention was that the account was canceled before the 14 day free period so there shouldn't be any charge. (And it wasn't like we mooched their free 14 day service. We did have a few pretty good size charges from Rhapsody for downloading some of their music).  Finally the person said a credit would be made on my account in 7-10 days (which I assume will appear on the next bill) and there will be no charges going forward.

We'll see what the next bill says. If it works and my situation sounds similar to yours, you might consider calling them and insisting you get a credit and that no charges are made on the account in the future, and sticking to it.

    Good luck!

    hi,
I've just found a charge on my bank card from this phone number. I did not speak with anyone from this number, I never agreed to anything online either. They might be a legitimate gaming company, but not when charges just appear out of nowhere. I will contact my bank today and tell them the charge is disputed. Then, I'm not sure what the bank will do, but according to Federal Regulation E, they are required to assist their members in a dispute or fraud. check on website of RipOff Report www.ripoffreport.com.

I just called 1-866-655-4541 to cancel the Real Networks SuperPass account.  I do remember signing up for it but never used it.  I accept that the charges for that were granted but but the problem is I was being charged for two other things that I did not sign up for Rhapsody and RealArcade Games.  After getting through it took the man answering the phone quite some time to be able to pull up my account (supposed technical difficulties) but he eventually did.  He had an accent and I could barely understand what he was saying but eventually he did claim to cancel all three accounts.  I received email confirmation of this.  After the horror stories on this site however I'm still skeptical and will be checking my account closely.  I even hear the charges may disappear for months and then suddenly return.  I have also had a new bank card issued with a different number and code so hopefully they will not be able to continue debiting my account.
