Really? And just how long is this "moving away" process supposed to take? I see this post was dated 2011 and here it is, 2015, and I just got one of those green post cards. Does slower than a snail's pace sound accurate? LOL

BTW: the phone number on the post card I just received is 1-800-261-9178, just for the edification of people just checking into this shyster business.

Lies; just received one your postcards today, August 21st, 2016.

I received a letter in the mail today saying I had a limited amount of time allotted to the expiration of my vehicles factory warrenty. All in caps as though my warrenty was up for my 2015 Kia. I freaked and called back 800-261-9178. First of all I waited over five minutes to talk to someone and when I did was told all agents were busy and she had an agent call back about five minutes later. Manny was the agent and after I told him my mileage he said I would have to pay $145.00 down and $102.00 for we months. When I said I wanted to think about it he became irritated. I laughed because he acted like it was a matter of life and death. He snapped at me and said this is no laughing matter we are talking about a 20,000. Dollar car. I said no know I bought it. I said I will call you back and asked his name he said Manny and hung up on me. No log it company would do that. I've been scammed before and had a bad feeling and am glad I didn't don it. I am reporting the incident everywhere I can. Don't fall for this crap!!

This company does not seem legit and not honest at all.  First, my car is 2 years old and the post card states that I bought a car last year which is false.  I called the number to inquire on the information on the green post card and a gentlemen ask me what is the make and model of my car. Wouldn't a company that know my warranty is about to expire, also know the make and model of my car?  I tell him the make and model and the representative tells me he has the same exact car and how much he loves to drive it ..... yea right.  Furthermore, the rep starts to say he needs a deposit from me today of $600 to hold the extended warranty contract! I tell this guy that I will contact the BMW dealership immediately and he begins to fast talk me and tell me that BMW will tell me I need this warranty and to go ahead with the deposit.  After 10 minutes of telling this guy that I will call him back after I get confirmation with my dealership because I already had an original warranty on my car, I had no choice but to hang up on the guy.  I would not trust this company and it seems that its a scam.  You all should be ashamed of yourselves :(

I recently got the green card and call be my car is a 2015 got it with 11 miles on it month ago

I know this isn't really the forum, but I had to say something.  I have been receiving those letters, literally, for years regarding my 2002 Toyota.  They never give up.  Do not trust everything you get in the mail either.  Keep an eye open for infinitesimal disclaimers that they are advertisements.

I just got a card saying it was regarding a car I purchased last year. Very suspicious considering I didn't purchase any vehicles last year.  Also your post from 4 years ago says you are going away from the postcards yet I just got one today.

Also just noticed the address is wrong.  It had an apartment number when I love in a house with no apartments nearby.

If you are moving away from the green post cards, how is it I just received one today, 4 years after your post.

It's APRIL 2016 now, that last post was 2011... They are still using the post cards ( just got one for my brand new SUV )... Still the same SCAM

Just curious to know who (my car dealer or car insurance Co) send them the fact I recently bought a car...?  it is a MAFIA organization and not ashamed of it if you check results in goolge... comments go straight to SCAM. What does the police do?

You say"do not want to make  people to think their warranty is expiring anytime soon".   Then why does the post card have on it ....notice.     NOTICE: VEHICLE WARRANTY EXPIRATION..?       Read my first sentence again if you need to.   I don't"t need to. But sounds like something the FTC. needs to investigate. Never mind the BBB. The FTC will prosecute you for inter/intrastate mail fraud, to name just one. You did send me my post card from Mo. To IN. You might want to shut it down now. Before we start a civil suit. Sure the FTC will cooperate with us .   9-12-2016

True BBB doesn't automatically accredit a business if the business doesn't seek it, however if a business gets enough bad feedback or reports to the BBB, then that business will be listed with BBB with whatever info they can provide with or without the business in question

Maybe you were born 9 yes ago, or even yesterday.  You saying scam can't go on for 10 yes?
