- carol annThey called me again today, what does it take to get rid of these idiots?I blasted them in the phone but knowing my luck they probably didn't hear me.Has anyone been getting calls from NCO they bother me every single day they called me last night around8:15 and when I hung up on them they had the nerve to call me back again,These calls are annoying to say the least!!!
- flatlanderI'm getting too many calls coming form this number. all of them are going unanswered. to do so will be to tip off the 'marketers' that my number is good.
Best just to ignore them if your caller id is set up. Try re-setting your answering machine to the max number of rings. This may eliminate a message being left as the call may 'drop' after 4 or so rings.
otherwise, keep a shrill whistle handy and give the caller an earful.................- Caller: 8662583883
- Pat Hammondunwanted call from this number
- KeithJust got a call from them too. The lady sounded very pushy and was a "bulldozer" when I tried to talk. she was hell bent to get me to upgrade. I was not confident that this was actaully Verizon Wireless. Said my contract was up for renewal, but just signed 3 phones up only about 4 month ago. Told her that any changes I would make to my service would only be done by myself in my local Verizon store. Then she seemed deserate and threw out the, "I can give you 200 free minutes if you..." CLICK! I hung up. Too suspicious for me.
- Caller: Verizon?
- Call type: Telemarketer
- MichaelDo Not Call
- fancyface888They indicated the call was for version and that the reason there is no one on the line when they call is because the number is dialed automatically and I have to WAIT for an agent to come on the line!!!!!! Like I am supposed to wait for someone to grace me with their presence for a call I didn't want. I called and it took several times for them to get that when I want to change something on our account I will call them!!!!

- Get a life Jerry replies to jerrySo we should not be upset at hookers, hitmen, and Hitler's SS just because they are just doing a job?
Jerry, if someone is doing a job that makes them a target of flame they can get another job! That is how it works in this country, - KeithThey're allowed to call even if you are on the do-not-call list you because you are doing business with them. It's Verizon's marketing company. they last time I renewed, they saved me money based on my use history. The questions they ask are to be sure you are the person authorized to make changes to or extend the service. That being said, if they don't treat you well, or you suspect they are not who they say they are, then you don't have to deal with them. It works both ways. Aske them the amount of the last payment you made, or for them to give you the last 4 digits of your SS number, and if they can't, hang up.
- carol's madSomebody called me but I don't have any idea who they left no message.I don't even have Verizon.Don't feel to bad comcast is just as bad.Verizon use to call me all of the time and I told them to stop or that i was going to report them so did stop for a little while. Now if it is them again oh boy.Just what I need more [***] like them bothering me.I had it with these unknown people calling me .I tired the do not call lists and they still call me matter of fact I would tell the people that called me that they aren't suppose to call me and i wanted to know how they got my number they gave me no answer.Rediculous just rediculous.
- Caller: not sure and a big pain
- annoyedThey called, I found this post & realizing vzw wants me to renew. Now adding # to contacts & gonna use this Androids' "send calls straight to Voicemail option" so it will never ring when they call again!
- Caller: VZW Sub-Contractor
- TicoWell, as if business didn't rip you off enough, Verizon calls my cell, asks for my wife and they proceed to share their wisdom of saving you some money, "never asked for this service", they did not wast time to offer their new phone upgrade and all the benefits it had it came with. When asked about the savings they just mention features the phone had and how you can stay connected with everyone. Hard luck on them, the wife only needs text and call, everything else is a waste. Computers are always at hand and we don't need to be tracked 24/7 from people we don't want to talk too. Long story made short, ignore the numbers you don't call, or play off as you are deaf. We are a DO NOT CALL phone owner...Damn program doesn't stop anyone from calling if they do not enforce the policies.
