- annoyedGot one of those calls again today and filed my second or third complaint with the do not call registry. Obviously that isn't helping.
- ihatetelemarketersThis number has been calling me too. I've never even had service with Verizon. I called and spoke with a girl who said she'd "try" to get me off the call list. She said the company's name was Infocision. I filed a complaint with the do not call registry.
- Caller: Infocision

- Annoyed JI never answer the phone when I don't know the number. This number keeps calling on a bi-daily basis. Gosh they are really ticking me off. It was important, they'd leave a message!

- Dot| 1 replyReceived a call every day for the past few weeks. Finally picked up just now (1:50 PM EDT) and she asked for my husband. When I said he wasn't here at the moment, she blurted out something very quickly about where she is from and then said she'd call back later.
I then googled the phone number and found this page. Very helpful. Now I know to ignore these calls!! - JaniBaltoI get these calls all the time. Usually there is no response when I say hello, and then a click and a dial tone. They call, but they don't want to talk to me. Weird.
So, today I put it into google and found this board. Interesting.
I called them back and got a woman who said, "Hello, what number did we contact you at?"
I didn't tell her my phone number, but I asked her why no one answers when I pick up. She said that it was automated and on a delay.
I think this fake-verizon believes only men can make decisions about phone service.- Call type: Telemarketer

- iPhoneI left Verizon over a month ago and even paid hefty early termination fees to get rid of them. I received a hang-up call from this number today. I called it back after looking it up on this site. Verizon wireless answered and asked for my phone number which I gave her. She asked me if there was another number they would have called me at and I told them no. "You just called me here 2 minutes ago." Then she found my number. I told her I want nothing to do with their service ever again and she said ok. I then hung up. I will be on the look-out for additional calls.

- DaffyMy small business gets a lot of long distance calls, so this number (866-259-3883) caught me off guard today. I answered, but no one was there. Here's what I did to make sure that they don't get an answer from me anymore: I saved that number as "Do Not Annsser." I spelled answer that way so that my call announce says it clearly; of course, that is now the way it will show up on my Caller ID as well, so there's little chance that they'll get me again.
- melindathe first time i recieved a call from the "866" number i answered the phone to hear verizon tell me my account needs to be renewed. that was a bunch of crap since i just renewed it 2 months ago. i asked not to be called again regarding my account. now i get more calls than ever. i dont answer them & they dont leave messages. i believe i recieve one call a month.

- Stop them now.......When you get one of these calls there is a way to stop them. Call the SCC (State Corporation Commission) in the state you live in. Lodge a complaint against the people who are calling you. In my case they identify themselves as Verizon. Stop them now!!!!!!!!
