Actually, telmarketers do not make good money or have benefits.

This number has been calling my phone twice a day for a week straight.  I have not answered it as I do not answer telemarketer calls, especially on my cell phone.   This is highly inappropriate and annoying.  Googled it and found this post.

These pest have been calling me 7 days a week for a month.I never answer the phone because I know it is some BS about wanting me to get another contract and I am not going to do it.Verizon should do something about this because people do not want to be called 7 days a week by these pest and begged to get more contracts with their company.If I wanted another phone or another 2 year contract I know where they are.I never answer because I have caller ID.

I also keep getting hangups from this number, I'm a Verizon customer with lots of time left on my contract.

I just spoke with these folks and indeed they did identify themselves from Verizon.  She asked NO personal questions only was informing me that they had good holiday sales on phones available and that I was eligible for an upgrade.  When I told her that I was not prepared right now to upgrade she suggested I go online and review all the phones available and thanked me for being a customer.

This worked for me. The company is infocisions and they are a telemarketing contractor for Verizon Wireless.

This caller is persistant.
More and more of my calls are from telemarketers.
Land line service is becoming a nuisance with these invading calls.
I prefer the better quality and comfort of a land line phone instead of small,
rinky-dink mobile phones with ear-straining reception and tiny buttons that my fingers are too big for.

Our country's communication reflects JUNK CALLS, DIARRHEA OF THE MOUTH, HOT AIR pollution and distraction from BABBLING MOUTHS.  Wrist, hand and finger maladaptions are next.
Just gotta talk all the time to express freedom and waste our energy and resources.
Many callers can't even be by themselves and stand alone, needing social affirmation and contact constantly like teenagers.  Talking on a mobile phone in a public bathroom and hearing a toilet flush is considered okay.  How much listening actually gets done?  Why are some of these calls even made if
someone doesn't even respond after connecting?  Unlimited calling, what a deal, what a waste.

I also received a call from this number and they hung up when I answered.  When I called back, a message came on saying "thank you for you interest in Verizon Customer Services - to continue press 1".  Well, I did NOT press 1, needless to say, but that was the end of the message.  It did not really say it was Verizon - and my contract expired at the beginning of the month, so probably they're trying to renew me.  I think they've changed their tactics, though, from what I've read on the other posts :)

They just called my land line. Came up as "Toll Free Call".
Gal asked for me by my first name only. Told her she had the wrong number. (hoping to get off a list)
She said sorry and thank you for your time. That was it.

Now, I have 3 cell phones in a plan with Verizon, but my home land line she called was AT&T.
A bit odd that they had it, but its been a number of years, so I don't remember if I gave them it or not.

Why wouldn't they call my cell, if they were legit?
Also, I know my plan would not be up for renewal till  at least, mid to late summer.

Received a call from  866-259-3883 at 8:30 pm. It was someone asking about Verizon service and asking if we wanted to upgrade to more minutes for no charge if we extended our contract for a year. They were nice enough. but we have received multiple calls form this number and often their is just dead air on the other line.

I keep getting calls from the above listed number. I don't answer and there is never a voice mail.

Seriously? You '"understand everything 'your all is saying?" Wow. Apparently grammar and spelling is not a prerequisite to work there. The correct form you are looking for and haven't found in any of your usage is "YOU'RE" It is a contraction of the words YOU and ARE.

Anyhow, if we already have contracts, with set dates, why are you bothering us to renew? Many of these people have already renewed. This is an annoying and ridiculous practice that needs to end. If it doesn't, I will definitely take my business elsewhere.

I get calls from this number all the time.  My phone's display says "Verizon Wireless", and since it is a toll-free area code, I don't even answer, as I know it's a solicitation call.  I had previously put myself on the NY State Do Not Call registry, so I don't know how it is they are allowed to call me.  Maybe they get a right to do so because I am a Verizon customer and they are a vendor working for Verizon.
I wish I could just block them....

another robo dialed number..my caller id reads: Verizon Wireless...no message left..I re-set my answering machine to the max# of rings...this 'call' dropped-off' after the 3rd ring.....

I'm getting a number of robo-calls from this number.  I know NO ONE in the 866 area code.  Thus the calls are not answered.  I 'upped' the number of rings on my answering machine to the max.  Thus these calls usually 'drop' before a message is left.  I keep a shrill whistle handy to give the caller an ear-ful...........

I'm up to 3 unanswered calls from this number.  
Suggestions: keep a shrill wistle handy to give the caller an 'earful'.  also on my answering machine, I 'maxed-out' the number of rings.  Most of these robo-calls drop off after 4 rings.   otherwise, hold the phone over your toilet, answer the call as you pull the flush handle...............

I am on the "do not call list." If they have any type of business association with you, they can still call you!

This call comes up on my caller ID every day no message!!  I am sick of this call I have read all the complaints they have to be stopped

keep getting these calls everday,never leaves a message,it if is verizon I don;t do business with them.Yesterday I got so mad I called them an a--hole.Is it a scam??

They called me again today and I told them that they got the wrong number,I think that they already hung up on me because I heard no answer,For crying out loud first I have NCO harrassing me now I got Verizon.what is next?
