Yes, this is correct that it's a number for Apple. They called me because I neede a verification number in order to set up something on my computer.

I received an email out of the blue in my junk mail from Apple but it asked for credit card info when I clicked the from address there was no address I screen shot it invade & then late last night I got a call I sent to voice mail saying my Apple ID RECOVERY was ok now. The problem is the web page they told me to go to doesn't match anything for Apple & I didn't have an issue with my ID am I being paranoid? or should I just call Apple myself to see if there is am issue? Ty all

This number is an Apple's one. It called me last day for two-steps auth., in France. So don't worry, it's not a fake.

Exactly the same happened this morning

I think this is part of a phishing scam. They send a fake text form Apple claiming its a security pin, then call you to ask for your account info. Beware!

I got 3 Apple ID verification codes, then a call from this number, I didn't answer. I then get an email pretending to be from apple asking me to verify my account. The email was clearly dodgy. Someone is trying to hack my account.

Ich wurde am 2.11.16 um 10 Uhr auch von dieser Nr angerufen, aber ich nahm nicht ab. Diese Vorwahl gibt es in der Schweiz nicht.

a robot called me at 1:45am with a apple massage ! we dont own a apple.. never will. calling people @ 1am is bull S*** there number 8662753866 Scam for sure, it left a five digit code in the massage.

I got 3 text messages written in Arabic with Apple Id code then a call with recorded message AGAIN in Arabic I could make out them saying Apple ID

I got a text from Apple with a verification code, then a call from this number...I have nothing to do with Apple!!!!???

I don't know who this number is!  They called me and I called them back and I heard a suspicious voice saying something about a five degit code I had to enter and then he just stopped talking.  Please tell me why I'm getting these calls!!  P.S. I would report these numbers

I got a call from this number out of the blue at 11:50pm and a recording tells me what my AppleID is, I believe this is Apples number but someone is trying to hack my account.

I just got a call and when I answer a recording gives me an AppleID then hangs up and I called back and got the same message you got!
I think it's someone trying to hack Apple accounts
