I have had 6 calls from this number on my cell this morning. I don't answer unknown calls on my cell for any reason. If this is indeed Apple, someone obviously entered the wrong phone number. I haven't owned an Apple product since my Apple II in the early 1980s, and I have had this cell number since the mid-1990s.

Several calls per day, getting tired of it! They do not leave a message, cant call them!

Yes I've had issues with three phones been hacked in the last week, I highly recommend you download Norton if you can afford it if not download lookout. My passcodes were getting randomly changed and it identified that immediately. Most of my problems have stopped.

I doubt the were "hacked"  Most likely you either clicked on a link in a text message or you downloaded a malicious app.

I called this number from a landline. When my call was answered, it was a recording.. "This Is A NonWorking Number. Please Hang Up And Try Again". Then the call is lost . 😯

I keep getting texts with "Your Apple ID verification Code is:_". I may get 5 or 6 different codes a day! I have never given Apple this phone number,so....   then I get this phone number and a blank voicemail. Something is not right here.

Random caller I didn't answer, called the number back 2 min later and it's disconnected. Believed to be a spoofed Apple number. Definitely a phishing scam.

Exact same thing happended to me 27 October 2017. Three sms with codes and two minutes later this tel call. I changed my Apple-ID password and email. Possibly phishing scam and attempt on my Apple-ID to hack it.

Got a call from this number in the evening after receiving my 12th Apple ID verification code text message of the day, all of which I had not requested. Earlier during the day when I called Apple up to ask about receiving unsolicited verification codes, they had told me that it was possible that someone had used my number for their 2fa. If you have an Apple ID and you're already using the 2fa for your account, change the password of both your Apple ID and the email address you've used for your Apple ID and keep an eye on your account and transaction history. Right now I'm thinking it could be a simple case of someone using my number for their 2fa, but I'm going to change my Apple ID email address just in case it's a phishing scam.

Ce numéro est une arnaque....  au même moment où ils m’appelait, ils ont transmis un texto avec un code de sécurité Apple.  Je n’ai évidemment pas répondu à ce numéro inconnu et encore moins considérer le code de sécurité.  Ils n’ont pas laissé de message et j’ai donc bloqué ce numéro.

This number is from Apple. If anyone received calls and text from this number but you don't request anything from Apple, just ignore. Maybe some kids create multiples apple id and they just type random number, or maybe your children, your friends.

I received a call from this number (8662753866) but I believe the hackers are using one of Apple’s toll free numbers through spoof-em to gather information from your phone. First you need to verify that Apple is the one giving you an authorization number before you enter any code in your phone. So hang up, call Apple first. I don’t think Apple would be calling us, they just send us updates on our phone. Once you enter an authorization code, these hackers can take over your phone and hack all of your information. BEWARE!!!

This number called me 3 times on 12/21/2017. I don’t ever pick up numbers that are not saved to my phone. I let it go to voicemail and the messages left where all one second. My phone labeled the messages as “transcript not available”. It’s a SCAM for sure. Don’t pick up any number you don’t recognize.

the # is Apple calling with a code to confirm your AppleID. If someone is spoofing this # there will likely be more than a code # to input. This is an automated output call only, there is no human on the other end, ever if the call is from Apple.

This is an automated call from Apple to give you a validation code to validate a new Apple ID.

I'm guessing if you get a call with this number that is not for this purpose, then it is possible that someone may be spoofing the same phone number and therefore should be considered questionable.
