I am getting an unwanted phone call from them daily. They state once you get Sirius Radio free in your new car for 3 months you have given them permission to make unwanted soliciation phone calls to you

they have been calling me at least twice a day now too and i just keep ignoring the calls...

It's not a scam...Dial America is hired by Sirius to contact people who have bought a car and received sirius satellite radio with a free trial subscription and have let the free trial end...now they are contacting them to actually set up service for a certain period of time at a discounted price.

My free Sirius subscription ends in 1 month and just got a call from this number today yet no msg was left.

Starting receiving 2-3 calls per day.  No message is left.  I leased a Kia Soul in November, 2010.  Based on all of the other comments, I am guessing my "free" trial of sirius radio is almost finished.  They need to leave a message and/or information.  I do not answer calls from numbers that I do not know.

They have the right to call if you do business with them, any company you do business with, currently, or in the past, is exempt from the do not call list. You need to ask them to stop calling, if they continue, then you can report them.

please stop these calls from this 866-297-6863.  we get calls every day.

just keeps calling, no message

I have called and asked to be removed from their call list twice.  The representative each time assured me that was taken care of.  Each time the representative lied because the calls continue.  I have now registered a complaint with DO NO CALL registry.  Am planning to file a formal complaint with the FCC if the calls continue.

If you got free satellite radio service when you bought your car, they will hound you to reup with them when service is ending. They will hound you to no end even if you tell them you do not want the service....

I don't have Surius Radio, so that can't be the reason...

Not if you are a customer... They can call you, part of the customer agreement permits them to call you... The Do Not Call Registry applies if you are NOT a customer...

You may not have, but one of the wonderful things about cell phones - who had it before you?  i have gotten calls because a person who previously had my number had their service.  2 other things - I get calls from the loca dealership because one of their customers gave them the wrong number (mine) and 2nd - i use to get all kinds of calls because a guy who owned and rented out about 30 trailers had the same number but with a differerent area code.  so there are unfortunately a lot of reasons these companies are calling and getting around the "do not call" list.

I too have a free trial subscription which has or will end soon. Calls come in once a day during business hours.

So I called.

Funny thing is that they didn't have my phone number on file and the rep said it is because another part of their company handles renewals and new subscriptions and don't share their phone database with the main system if you don't have an established account.

With my name and zipcode, she was able to bring up my account and it showed that there was no number to contact me. She updated my account with my number and put me on the Do Not Call list. To be seen/heard what happens.

Sorry for the long delay but I just wanted to make sure what happened next stuck.

The next day I got a call from the Sirius telemarketing office but this time I answered it. Sure enough as you have all been saying they were offering discounted deals since my free auto subscription was about to run out.

They offered a 6 month then 3 month then a 12 month offer which I politely declined. He also asked why I wasn't interested and I just said because I don't listen to the radio much at all. These are all the standard questions they are prompted to ask so I wasn't mad at them for asking. It is their job to do so anyway.

After this, I have not heard from them at all and it has been 10 days now and I don't expect to hear from them again.

So in conclusion, the subscription representative was right when she said they don't share their database with the marketing database. They are two separate entities. I think with me answering the telemarketers questions and refusing their offers, I am now officially off their calling list. 10 days and so far so good.

this is insane I get calls from this number 2 to 3 times a day and i don't know what they want they say they need info. about something don't know what? and I'm not going to answer it until I can verify who they they are.
