- BeckyIf your phone has the option, just set the "Block Call" setting on the number. I have a 3-month trial with my new KIA, and although I love SIRIUS, I won't pay the $40 monthly for it. I have another car through my employer that has a free SIRIUS subscription, so I'll use that car when I need a fix or on long car trips.

- SuzanneIf your phone does not have blocking, then, just enter the number as one of your contacts and call it "SPAM" or "SCAM" and next time it rings, you will see this and know not to answer it!

- HighYieldConsultantFYI ... Sirius is great if you are in your car at all compared to obnoctious commercials and it can be had for as little as $5.00 a month for a 6 month term ... the trick on that is that if you don't cancel by the end of the 6 month term the list pricing (regular price) will increase to $14.95 a month. The good news is that if you attempt to cancel a 'retention' specialist will offer the $5.00 a month plan again for 6 months. Excellent commentary on this subject at fatwallet.com. Good Luck To All.

- Tracy.Sirius Satellite contract expires this month, What is wrong with these people! They have called my house this morning 4 times with in a 30 min time frame, they have been calling non stop for a month now many times a day. I am fed up! I ask them not to call but they keep calling. This morning I got very loud and used some 4 letter words. I told them I do not want them if I want you I would call you! Do not call my house and more! If you do choose to keep calling I am turning this over to the attorneys general office.
Their worse than a bill collector, my gosh.- Caller: Sirius Satellite
- Anonym replies to yooYes very well so.
- smacThis is allegedly Sirius which came with my new car and I did not renew the subscription. However, the couple times I have answered, no one is on the other end. So this is basically just spam. I don't know how to stop it. I don't know how they got my cell # unless any information I gave the dealership was given to Sirius, which I think should be illegal.

- new carIf you purchased a new car (or used) with satalite radio capabilities then you're going ot get calls from Sirius Satellite Radio, like it or not. Go complain to the car dealership who sold you your car and reported the new sale to Sirius Satellite Radio.

- CaliI have gotten numerous calls from this number (4 so far today) but I haven't answered them. Now that I know it is from Sirius radio and I read Garth and John's posts, I decided to call the Sirius Do Not Call number at 1-888-539-7474. After following the phone prompts (the system recognized my number; and yes, I received a free trial with my car purchase) I was transferred to a live person in Customer Care. I explained that I had received numerous calls that I had not answered, but thanks to the internet I recognized the calls were from them. I stated that I had recently purchased a used VW that evidently had a free trial subscription, but that I did not want the service and I wanted to be placed on their Do Not Call list. The lady was very pleasant and said she could help me with that. She looked up my account (until then I didn't even know I had an account; it would have been nice for all of this to have been explained to me at the dealership, but then again they didn't tell me I even had a free subscription) She asked only for my address, probably to cross reference with the info she had on file. She said it would take 10 days or so for the info to get throughout their system, and that I may still receive calls during that time. I asked if it would speed the process up if I answered the calls. She said it would not help. If this doesn't work, I will repost in a couple of weeks. So, if you don't see a post -- it worked! (This site has been such a help to me in finding out who is calling and not leaving messages so I wanted to share my experience to help others.)
