This number does not work!  it's a recording saying that the service you want is not available.  Anybody got any other way to get them to stop calling?  it's 9:45 am and I've already had 3 calls from them in the last 1 hr, 45 min.  I work nights so this keeps waking me up!

I have hired an attorney to look at this. I have received 20 calls in the last 2 weeks from the same number. I have picked up half of them with no answer from the other end.

If you have purchased a vehicle, you may have signed a fine print contract stating that Sirius Radio may contact you (since you are using their trial service).

However, Under the FCC's rules, an “abandoned call" is a telemarketing call that is not connected to a live representative within two seconds after being answered by a live person.  If you receive an abandoned call, you may hear dead air or clicking sounds, sometimes followed by a prerecorded message or a hang up. The FCC’s rules protect against unreasonable telemarketing practices by limiting call “abandonment” by telemarketers to no more than 3% of all telemarketing calls over a 30 day period. In addition, telemarketers may not hang up before 15 seconds or four rings.

The latest FTC rules also set a new lower standard for the number of abandoned calls allowed. These new rules, along with signing up for the Registry, should reduce the number of abandoned calls you receive. More about the FTC's latest telemarketing rules can be found at: www.ftc.gov/opa/2008/08/tsr.shtm

Thus, a case in court coming soon either against Sirius or Dial America.

Keep calling my cell phone for Jesse Jones. I am a Sirius customer but use auto draft so I know I'm paid. Next time they call I'm going to ask to have Jesse's subscription cancelled.

Uhm, no. The dealership has a "roaming" subscription that is applied to every car they purchase. The customer then activates their 3 to 6 month trial at delivery. Quit being so paranoid...there is no plot to get you.

I called the number back and got a live person by pressing 1.  I told him I installed a new stereo (which I did) and can't get Sirius radio and asked to get on the "Do not call list" and it may take up to 10 days, but I'm on the list.

So, you're saying that for the rest of my life since I signed a piece of paper for a free trial on the car I purchased that the only way to get off the list is to hire a lawyer?  I think there has to be a law somewhere regarding harassment after informing them....Maybe in writing?

Please do not call my cell or home number!  I have received numerous calls daily (from this number 866-297-6863) and will not answer them.  I went on line and Googled only to find out that Sirius is behind them.  I am on the DO NOT CALL list and would appreciate not having to get these calls.

I wait for call screening to come on but they hang up as soon as it goes to to the answer machine. I recently purchased a used car that had sirius radio installed and they probably got my tel. no. from the title transfer info.

The phone no. 866-297-6863 called me days and nights. Since I knew it's non-sense to answer them, I just didn't answer them. When is it going to stop ? Hell knows!
