I had been ignoring the calls (the area code gave it away as being from telephone solicitors), until I looked in the cell phone log and noticed that they all came from the same number (866-301-7344).  I called into the number and it said Sirius opt-out service (or something like that).  Despite that, the next day, another call came in.  I actually answered and told them point blank that I don't want Sirius, and that I have already tried to be on the do-not-call list.  They asked for my number, which is strange since they just called me, and I was on the line.

There should be some kind of legal recourse for this type of [***].  Sirius is scum, and their tactics are harassment; plain and simple.  Everyone should write notes to the Better Business Bureau and seek their help.  Also, write your congressman/woman.  They should be run out of business.

Another option is to call your phone carrier and alert them.  Should at least be able to block telephone solicitions.

actually this sounds like a scam...they had all the info wrong I played dumb and questioned the non english speaking person... she told me that my subscription had ran out.. it hasn't we have 3 two are lifetime paid in full and the other is paid quarterly payment went out of my account last week..she told me the radio I purchased from Radio
Shack ran out... those are the lifetime the last one was through Sirrus. Everytime I had a payment coming out or had just come out I either get a yellow letter in the mail wanting me to call this number blah blah blah so I checked it out it was a scam.. I sent a letter to the address and told them if I got another one from them the AG of my state was getting it.. those stopped and the phone calls started.. she tried to tell me I wouldn't get offers I said I get e-mails she decided it was time to hang up I warned her to take our number off or the "AG" would hear from us.. Lets hope they call back = )

I have opt'ed out twice now.

Both times it sated my number wasn't in their system.

But they call me daily, and the number is on my account...

If you have registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can go to there website and file a complaint.  I've done this a lot with other companies and the calls stopped the next day.

Continually calling my corporate Blackberry.  I don't use it for voice so do not answer. Constant calls.

Get daily calls; 9:05AM and 5:15PM
Will not leave message.

calls from 866-301-7344 almost daily, never a message they always hang up....I bought a new vehicle last year that came w/6 mos free Sirius sat radio, it was a promotion package, i didn't ask for it to be added to the car...I didn't renew when the 6 mos were up...and have been receiving calls daily....

I have been on the national do call list for the past four years.

I have added my name to Sirius' do not call list several times using the 888-440-6342 number, and today requested from a rep and a supervisor that my name be removed from their list. They both said it would take a "few weeks" when the FCC requires that they take your name off within 30 days (from my understanding). The supervisor (Anthony Williamson?) said that "a few weeks equaled 30 days." Are you kidding me?

I then told him that I was filing a complaint with the FCC.

It takes less than three minutes and I suggest you do it too. The complaint form asks if you have purchased anything with the company in the past 18 months. The last interaction I had with them was to cancel my account two months ago. Therefore, I assume my "established business relation" (EBR) with them was severed.

After this, I will NEVER do business with Sirius again. I can't imagine that the financial gains made by Sirius from these calls outweigh the costs in losing potential future customers and damage to their brand.

It seems like several people on here would use Sirius again after their financial situation improves, but these calls are putting a serious damper on that.

Machine picked up, but they left no message. I did recently cancel my Sirius subscription, though.

when i received my "suppossed new phone" from verizon apparently phone was not soo new-and the prior subscriber has the sattelite radio-they called and called and called-opt out worked but now i get calls from 806-385-5381...tell me how do i OPT out of their calls? annoying jerks!

I tried the opt out number, called it from my cell phone, which is where they were calling me, and it said the number I was calling from was not on their list!!

I just tried the 'opt out' number listed above.  We'll see.  Wretched people...wish we could call them at home again & again & again &...

I called have just started getting these calls too. I spoke to Sirius 3/9 to canx and after 'Nichole' spoke to her manager and charged me $10 to disconnect it was still on 3/12 so I called back and spoke to Homer and was told it took 2-3 weeks to turn off because of the 'signal' It is now 4-24 and it is still on and these calls are coming so I just spoke to Frank and was reassured that the matter would be taken care of  ( that a box was not checked on my a/c for them not to call (866-301-7344) So we will see what gives. Call their direct # 1-877-635-5005 be sure to ALWAYS TAKE DOWN THEIR NAMES tell them to "check the box for no calls or E mails"
