I just recieved a call from Brad as well. It came up unknown number> I know this has to be coming froming Craigs list as I had sold many vevhicles from Kijiji with no calls. Im glad i googled Longwood Inc. because he sounded very confident.

I got the same messages, only his name is Brad. Clearly they have no life or soul ( not sure which, probably both) but i wouldnt have known of this if it hadnt been for you guys blogging it so, thanks!!!!

I just received a call from these goofs. I placed an add on Craiglist as a "want to buy" for a kids motorcycle. The guy left a VM promising to sell my vehicle. I see they don't really look at the add, just get the number and make a call.

I got a call today. Thanks for the help. I won't be calling Brad back. I was about to call him back to see if this could be useful

Yeah, I googled them also and glad I found this site. I have my car listed on two sites, Craigslist and Hotrodonline. This idiot did not say which one he was calling from, but it is obvious it is Craigslist. I have a drawer full of those phone cashier's checks from the other idiots in the past. If they were real checks, I would not be in debt anymore! Just keep on top of the offers you get and it will eventually be sold. I plan on taking my car to Hot August Nights in Reno this year. I am sure it will sell there if I don't sell it before then. It is a 1955 Chevy 4 door post car. Needs to be rebuilt. But a strong, solid car. Thanks for the information on these idiotts! Keep up the good work!

Brad from Longwood Inc called my home from an ad I posted on Craigslist. I was irritated by the call. I didn't answer because it came up unknown. Brad left a voicemail. Right away I had a feeling it was a scam. I googled the company name and found these posts. Glad I did! 1866-326-0949 was the number he left on the voicemail. If I needed help selling my item, I wouldn't be using a free website like Craigslist.

yeah but autotrader puts their goods up front. Brad doesn't.
I just got off the phone with Brad's "Asst".
I was told they have several buyers for my vehicle. Wanted $99 up front.
I told them looked more like a scam to me and sorry to learn that Brad doesn't exist.

Received a VM from Brad @ Longwood, Inc. today (866-326-0949)  "tried to reach me twice - so left me a message."  I'm advertising my car thru Autotraders.  I never would have called him back, but was interested to see what I could bring up about them on Google.  Thanks, guys - you all confirmed my "gut" feeling!

Yes, this company tends to be a ripoff.  They have an extremely poor BBB rating, they solicit illegally and collect information from other websites illegally.

I got a call from Brad.  Wanted to guarantee me that my car would be sold.  But the bottom line is that it's better that YOU control the distribution of your advertising - and don't outsource the task to an unknown.  It's just a waste of money otherwise.

- Kijiji.com.. or whatever its called...

Supposedly free, but really pay sites:

I don't know about any others - I'm sure there are many.

I have just received a call from "Brad", I am only listed on Kijiji and Trader.ca

"Brad" is one of the disabled people that this "charitable" (read: tax scam) organization "employs".  Try calling back and asking for "Brad".  "Brad" can only call out, he can't answer calls -- a truly unique disability!

I also received a call from Brad. it sounds like he is a machine not really human being just a auto recording machine. Hey man, we have just need to remember " too good to be true !!!"  don't fall in to the scam!!!

Yes, he IS a machine.  In fact, if you actually answer the phone, they will hang up on you.  "Brad" only speaks to your voicemail.  If you ask for him when you call back, he is suddenly gone, even if you call back within minutes.  It's a recording.  They use auto dialers and recordings, which are illegal according to the FTC for 501c3 status companies.

Received 2 calls from "Brad" saying he could sell my car. I have only listed it on Kijiji and Autotrader. Glad to find out about this co. on here.
