i got several calls from matt with longwood inc at 866-326-9921, but when i called back, he is not available...because he's a recording!!!!

same here...my car is on denver craig list..and the ad specifically states "local buyers only"..nice try matt with Longwood Inc...but alas, he is never available, since his voice is recorded...

I see there haven't been any recent posts, but this Brad dude is still leaving messages because I got one and wondered if it was a scam. Thank goodness for Google!!  Isn't there some way for this guy to be penalized for contacted people for business on CraigsList when he is not supposed to be doing that??

I got a call today from a Matt at longwood inc, he said he had tried to call me a couple times today so he decided to leave me a message regarding my toyota mr2 for sale on craigslist. he ket saying he could help me sell "This particular vehicle". Its a mr2, he could have at least said "i have a buyer for a mr2" but when he said particular vehicle it made me think he has never read the ad to begin with. i dont think he ever read the ad because it says text only i work 3rd shift and will not answer calls during the day. tried calling the number back and no answer. the guy sounded like a recording aswell.

I received a call from Matt from Longwood at 866-326-9921.  He talked about my "vehicle".  I had advertised my boat for sale.

Same company name only they are using a different phone number.  The number I was given is 866-326-9921.

i only posted my car on craigslist and nowhere else.  and they just started calling me.  i'm glad i read these reviews.  i'm not calling them back

obviousley you havent read all the complaints about the oh so popular BRAD i recieved my call from MATT today same exact complaint every1 else has on here blocked number same voicemail message everything...theres too many people who complained( thank god) 4 this not to be a scam.I was sold by several posts that its a scam particularly the one that said they got their call at 6 am thats sooooooooooooo unprofessional!!!Legit bussinesses dont block their number like lawyers schools insurance agencies,etc so 2 BRAD OR MATT OR JACOB  we re all onto you n your scams you ve been reported n you re PATHETIC!!!!! Damn brad you sure are a busy manLOL!!!!! Get a job instead of TRYING to rip decent people off u idiot!!!!!

Just wanted people to know that the same scripted message has been used but the caller says his name is Matt and the number comes up unknown and the same scenario that they claim they called a week ago when it has only been a couple days. The return call is similar but 866 326 9921. We only advertised in local newspaper and we are on the do not call registry. It is a shame people don't have enough conscience to get a real job instead of taking advantage of people that trust others. The only consolation I have is that they will in due time pay for their wrongdoing if not in this life then at judgment.

I did the same thing. Posted on Craig's list. Now they have a new name calling "Matt Carter" with a new phone # of 866-326-9927 .

I started receiving calls from Unknown (caller ID blocked) to my mobile phone, no response if picked up, but receiving voice message if I do not. Same story from some Matt from 866.326.9921, but surprisingly I am neither selling nor planning to buy any car.

i'm glad to see someone else feels this way. they called me from my ad on Craigs list & I didn't return their call!!

More moronic info:  I have an awning fabric for sale on craigslist.  Matt says he has an interested buyer for my vehicle????? I just need to call him back.  I called back to tell him, well, you know what and I was on hold for 15 minutes... How do these people stay out of jail?

I received an unknown call a couple of days ago on my cell so naturally, I didn't answer it. There was a message from "Matt" with Longwood Inc saying "He has someone that is interested in my vehicle and for a small fee, he can guarantee that it is sold" His return number, according to the voice mail he left is 866-326-9921. I received another call from him today saying that he has been trying to get in touch with me for a couple of weeks now? What a joke! SCAM!!!!

I got a call from Longwood Inc shortly after putting my vehicle on craigs list. It came up on caller ID as "unknown caller" It was "Matt Carter who left a message. Called back the number (866-326-9921) and spoke with a lady who told me she had a list of people anxious to by my vehicle and they would arrange to have the people to come to me. There was a $249 fee program and a $149 fee program . I told her I would never send money to someone I did not know. She said she would send me literature in the mail to me. Will see if it comes. Whole thing sounded fishy!!!

Why is everyone continuing to post on here saying they got called....it was a scam.... blah blah blah.  Shut up.  Unless you have facts about there wrong-doing, stop writing.  No one needs to hear misguided information.  If they are shady, list what they have done specifically to you, besides all the laws they have broken, because DUH, we KNOW they are breaking laws.

Got a call from matt also.. fee was for 149.. I haven't spoke to him but my boyfriend did.. I told him NOONE can guarantee a sale and I would want to see a contract before giving any credit card info online.. FISHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. I too had a listing on Craigslist and was called and stupid me paid the $149 fee offered to sell my vehicle.  Many people looking for exactly what I had and it would be just days before it was gone or so the folks at 866-326-9921 stated.  Anyway several monthgs go by and I have sold the vehicle myself the first day I listed in a local paper.  Wondering how honest these folks were I left my posting on their website with broken promises listed.  Been there for several months now and still not single call.  Point is they take your money and do nothing - not even reveiw my negative comments about them that have been posted to my already sold vehicle.
