My phone# number was given to this credit company without my authorization and they have been contacting me on my wireless phone via phone calls and text messages for someone elses debt.

Yes it is checksmart I had a $700 dollar loan with them and couldn't pay in time so these people started calling me and would hang up each time I answered I talked a girl there and we agreed on tge 10th I would call in and pay via credit card they stated calling 2 days later to confirm and I told them it may be the twelth so the guy I was on tge phone was like we can't do that and I dobt know why they couldn't I said I may be able to do it on the 10th or not I said if I could I would so I check my account and they allready took it out now. Got -$200 thanks checksmart wait till BBB hears about this

Every single day we received 15 calls from this number, sometimes they didn't talk or call for an employee who is not longer working here.

Its a ccash scaming place i called them and they wouldnt ggive me any info untill i paid which i did not and they called me stupid and a idiot and swore at me.  I called the place they saod i owed and they said they never heard of this place and that i had already paid off. This company should be shut down! I have always made my payments on time! I made my payment on time like always, and I awoke to my bank with a negative balance of 782.95! My loan all together with interest was only 668.35. When I called the store in Tucson, they had me go get bank statements to show that it had processed, which I did. I also had the bank show a list of ncf charges that had occurred because of it. Over $40.00 worth. The conpany agreed to pay only what they pulled out, but nothing extra! How dare they! I have done everything they have asked, and this is how I'm treated. I'm done with this company, and telling everyone i can to never use them.

Checksmart isnt required to follow the FDCPA they collect their own debt. That means they are not a 3rd party collection office.

I get a msg from this number everyday and I'm sick of it! I've tried to answer it and it's a recording.  They say to call back about an important business matter! UGH!

These people have been calling for a Mr. Tyson Bats. I just got this number and have answered and told them this is NOT Tyson and they have the wrong number. After letting them go to voice mail a variety of times, i decided to answer the call today. The caller told me I clearly sounded like "I didn't know MUCH and i should get someone a little more intelligent on the phone"! Are you kidding me?! I asked for a supervisor because the guy was being disrespectful and RUDE. He said he was the manager so I told him he had the WORST customer service and he kept disrespecting and degrading me.

i owe checksmart money and i am paying them bacl in installments which is fine with the local office but the corporate office not so i have a collector calling me over and over i ignore the calls like the local ofice tells me too and they start calling my friends. this is harrassment what recourse do i have other than giving the corporate office a piece of my mind when this is paid off.

You also might get a call from them if you've recently uploaded your resume online. Maybe they want to offer you a job to collect other peoples money.
