This is Checksmart, parent company of Alabama payday loan lender Easy Money. Despite the fact that I have filed bankruptcy and they have been served, they continue to call daily. I plan on recording the calls and making some "easy money" myself-off the FDCPA claim against that my attorney just added to my potential  assets.

Idiots.

It's FIRST VA I got a credit loan from them, and got behind 182.00. I sopke to them and said I fell in
a slump with money and will take care of it when I can they told me they will be calling everyday until
I pay it.  once I pay this off I will never do this again these people wont listen to reason and also like to
hang up on you. VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE STAY AWAY FROM THESE PLACE'S  THERE NO GOOD THANKS.

I received a call and a voicemail from this number, asking me to call back "Mr. Wilson." I was able to connect with him directly. He asked me for my name, which I declined and gave a phone number instead. He asked if I was (redacted). I told him I was not. He informed me that this was the number given from a woman.I told him I have had my phone number for the past 5 years and I was not (redacted), and to please never call me again.

I have been receiving calls from these people since the my bank account was fraudulently robbed of all monies after I had cashed a check with Check Smart. I had to close the account and file a police report (fortunately for me the police was here when the fraud loan company called and asked me to wire him $200 dollars and he would refund me back all the money he stole from my account)!!...But when Check Smart was informed of this and provided the Report a Mr. Keys basically cursed me out... called me stupid... and even though the actual store was willing to work with me...he told me to either pay him all the monies back...or they will prosecute. At some point I was terrified, but then I decided to record our conversations and have proof of my willingness to settle the matter at best I could and his refusal to even allow me to do that.  I accepted full responsibility for the monies...account theft or not...and this person still was just nasty. So, I have decided to file bankruptcy and I added them to the list... they are now being forwarded to the attorney handling the bankruptcy and she isn't afraid of them in the least.  This is unfortunate...but necessary...and I was still willing to pay them...but this caused me severe stress and a trip to the ER!!!   And they started harassing my daughter who is 15... enough...really... once I made the effort to pay and they decided not to accept...that was their problem.  I was also informed that they would be prosecuting me... bring it!!!  I have the proof I need that I tried in good faith to not only accept responsibility...but to repay every penny in a matter of weeks. I quit..end of discussion.

Continues to call for an employee after being told he cannot receive these types of calls.  They also misidentify themselves when they call, and refuse to give me a physical address (for mailing a CUT THE CRAP letter).


Called from 800-837-0381 but gave this number as a call back.

I had them call me threatening me telling me I'm 2 months behind and then said they're are getting me for breach of contract after I cussed them out for 10 min and told me not to speak to them like that again and said good luck. Lmao

This number keeps calling my ex girlfriend Beth Morgan.  I dont know how they got her number (something from an application but I never put her name on anything except 3 years ago.... we havent been together for a year and three months now.  please stop calling her....

I have had no dealing whatsoever with checksmart. At least the checksmart robocall computer has the decency not to call during the night.

Go ahead and block or report these numbers. Get your service provider to screen unidentified calls. Then assign all these numbers to a single contact and block that contact. The do-not-call directory is ineffective because it does not cover debt collectors.

I received a call from these people asking for "Diego". When I replied that they had the wrong number, I got a very skeptical, "Uh huh" and then they hung up. I called back to request they put me on their "Do Not Call List", and was berated heavily for not getting Diego's last name. They repeatedly said that there was nothing they could do, since my phone number did not come up as with a client. Totally rude, and disrespectful. I was under the impression that whether I have an account or not, if I call in and say, "Do not call me ever again" That they had to comply and add me to their do not call list. If i receive any more calls from them, mis-dialed or not, I will be filing charges with the Attorney General.

some one may have gave your number as a reference , like mine was they call 20 to 25 times a day im done with these people

Change your phone number most cells give a one time free change number

Government checks can not be garnished for these reasons, can be garnished for child support or alimony. Good try.........

It is California Check Cashing and Payday Loans they r calling me cause I took a title loan out on my car if u are even 2 days late making payment they call non stop

Calls every day. Never leaves a message, nor responds when I do pick up

ok Ill post to the attorney general for California and we can file big harassment charge.

Have been getting calls from this damn number and it's starting to upset me. It was really that urgent than a message should have been left but no they just constantly call. If this continuos I will report. I don't know why this kind of business exist.To get paid for bothering people.
