Abusive and harassing calls. Harassing at work.

Caller alleges he is with loan company and wants my address and last four of SS#. Then he becomes rude then has my info anyway. Never would tell me why he is calling.

I get called and told that I need to call this phone number for a meeting?? What meeting do who ever they are think I need to attend??  Now they are calling several times a day????

They continuously call my work and cell phone daily even after telling them not to contact me at these numbers. They are rude and nasty on the phone.

call from some one also check cashing place in Arizona looking for Brittney Harris.  almost everyday.  I have told them over and over I don't know her you have wrong number. calls continue. Do I have grounds for stalking or harassment?

a   ha  it is check smart that keeps calling my number for Brittney Harris..  they are wasting there time calling ME.  I don't know Brittney. And yes they can be sued for harassment and stocking me. I had no dealings with this firm.

It is against the Federal law for collectors to call your work or employer  and also there is a Federal law regulating the number of times a collector (checksmart) may call you Believe it is once a week. Check it out

Good luck with that "harassment and stocking" lawsuit.  That wouldn't be the proper laws to sue them under.  I am wondering what they are "stocking" you with though.

I just got a call from them they did not say nothing i did noteither i'am not letting them record my voice so don't ever say anything to calle's not on your phone lise that can get u burne'd so i blocke'd them

This number calls atnleast 5x or more a day. I just want it to stop.

The number that showed on display was 614-210-2966 but when l answered, a recorded message said to call 866-354-0567. Didn't give a company name or anything...???

So how did you handle it. They've also been threaten to call the police. Is that true? Or a scare tactic?

Corporate office for Community Choice Financial. Left a message that was so fast I had to replay it five times in order to figure out who or what. Called me because I was listed as a reference on someone else's loan application.

Called us asking for my sister-n-law.  She is very late on making her payments & must call corporate right away.  This number here IS corporate office for Check Smart.
My sister-n-law will not stop giving our number out as a reference, she has been told, & screamed at over it.  She just doesn't care.

That does not seem to be the actual corporate number.  Further, it looks like this is a shady outfit that has been investigated for illegal activities.  A simple "not me" letter sent certified, return receipt will stop the calls, and if it does not, then you can sue them and make them pay you.

this number is always calling my cell and my job looking for me. I'm so sick of them I really wish they would stop calling me leaving messages and harassing me. Yes! I have a payday loan out there, but geesh I'm a single mom and right now I cannot afford the payments right now. Please! make them stop
