When I ordered the tea I was charged $6.95 for S/H for a 14 days trial. I ordered on 1/6/08 & received the tea on 1/14/08. I started to use the tea, still trying to decide if I wanted to keep it. I decided to cancel & called the company. I talked to a rep. named Mark who told me I had to cancel by email so he gave me his email address to do so. All this was within the 14 day trial. I printed my email as proof & thought the matter was resolved. Not so, my bank acct. was debited $19.95 on 1/28/08 for Living Lean which I didn't recognize. Then to make matters worse, $54.95 was debited from my bank acct. on 2/20/08 for a 2 month supply of the tea. What happened to the email cancellation? I Googled the phone number & read about all these other people who were having the same problems with Wu-Yi Diet Tea Company, I went to their website & found the "Chat with a Customer Service Rep" on the right side of the page. So I clicked & started a chat with Joseph who answered all my questions & told me exactly when I could receive the credits to my account. You can also print the whole chat as proof of what you were promised. I am now waiting to see if the company sends the refunds. I decided to try the chat since reading about the difficulties everyone was having contacting the customer service department. Hope this helps.

Same thing happened to me.  I too ordered the Wu-yi tea - was charged the $6.95 shipping and then was charged $37 for the tea before the "free trial" period was up - decided to send the tea back for a refund - was only refunded $31.45 because of the 15% restocking fee and now there is a $19.95 charge on my account to the Living Lean.

i went into the Wu-Yi site and chatted with a live person named Anthony - he gave me the number 1-866-396-5711 to call to cancel my subsription to Livinig Lean - i told him that it didn't work so he claims that he will cancel my subscription and i will be refunded within 10 days. We'll see what happens.

Same situation, unauthorized charges, no answer at the listed 1-866 phone number, etc.  I called my bank and since it was my debit card I had to report it lost/stolen to prevent any further charges.  Apparently just in time since I also received the cancellation e-mail from Wu Yi tea. I tried calling the customer service # at Wu Yi tea and unless your placing an order you cannot speak to anyone and apparently you have to cancel by writing now.  I intend to report this to the Better Business Bureau and encourage everyone else to do so, as this is looking like a class action lawsuit in the future.

I just saw the $19.95 charge on my account for "Living Lean" and went back to the website and clicked on the "Live help" button. I chatted with "Cyrus" who confirmed that Living Lean subscription is mandatory with your tea purchase, to which I of course said was total baloney. He told me to call the 866 number, and I said that I would, but I wanted him to tell me why I never got a response when I e-mailed "markcustomerservice@gmail.com" THREE times. Cyrus just kept saying "ma'am, please just call the number". I kept pressing him and finally he said "oh, I am sorry to inform you, but we have changed our e-mail address to teahelp@usa.com". OK???? I told him that was just awful business and what, do they change their e-mail address every other day so that poor saps like me exceed their trial period while trying to cancel their account on a fake e-mail address? He just said how sorry he was. What a bunch of CRAP! I finally called the 866 number and spoke to a very nice guy named Mandon. He explained that yes, Living Lean is an honest company and their "mandatory" subscription info can be found on the half page of the tea site just before you put your credit card info in (where there is a pic of a woman with a tape measure around her waist). Either that is more crap or I really did miss it. Somehow I still think that even if Living Lean WAS mentioned, they put the charge of $19.95 is SUPER FINE print. Anyway, Mandon told me that he would be happy to refund the $19.95, and that I would see no more charges on my account. So we shall see!

I just got off the phone with some lady from the Living Lean company by calling the 1-866 number. She said they would do a refund, but next time make sure I read the terms and conditions. So I think its a legit number to call, but be patient cause I waited for about 30 mins just to talk to them.

Same thing.  $6.95 charge $6.95 credit  (Wu-Yi 866-449-4567) and now a charge over a month later a charge for $19.95 (Living Lean 866-396-5711.
Also, everyone might want to check their checking accounts for a $1.05 charge from Bill Waus Source (no phone number for this yet).  Seems to me that all 3 are in together to make a buck and it seems to be working.  I am livid!!!!!  After pitching a fit I received a conf # for a credit to be issued back to my account in 3-5 days for $19.95.  In the meantime I will be researching the $1.05.  WHAT A RIPOFF!!!!

I ordered the tea and paid the $6.95 and the $37.00. I have not noticed an y appreciable difference since using the tea but had not yet canceled my order. Living Lean put through an unauthorized debit of $19.95 on 2/28/08. When I contacted Wu Yi Tea online and asked the online rep what the connection between the two companies was he directed me to call Living Lean and gave the the 866 #. They do not answer and have changed their office hours or something. After I kept hounding "Ralph" the online rep, he finally admitted that you have to do business with Living Lean in order to receive the tea. I have canceled my order and have asked them to email confirmation of that. I have also had to cancel my debit card since my bank says that the company has tried to put through another debit of $19.95.

I did agree to pay for the tea but never agreed to pay any additional charges and did not authorize the company to withdraw $19.95 from my account.

Lori, I am just wondering if you ever received the credits you were promised. I have been charged the $19.95 Living Lean thing but not yet the $54.95 for two more boxes of tea. I have sent an email canceling any future shipments of the tea to a Mark, at the customer service center and plan on calling them Monday. If I have to I will just cancel that CC and have my bank send me one with a new billing code. I wonder if that tea is even from China (I doubt it). They must be making a mint and they obviously know they are a scam or they would have included a contact number with the charge on my card. Just wondering, I want to know what I can expect. Thanks in advance.

Hi   I too was charged 19.95 for Living Lean....I cancelled everything on January 22nd....I was in contact with  Mike Stef about why I was charged when I cancelled the same day so he took care of that  his email is
wuyisource@hotmail.com  in case anyone needs it.
Also today  I went to the website
           http://www.wu-yisource.com/contactus.php    and on the lower
right hand side there is  Live Chat Help.   This is the 3rd time I spoke
with the LIVE CHAT  long story short he informed me he will personally take care of cancelling the Living Lean and see I get a credit...we will see, I also email Mike Stef and let him know what was going on.  I have all my backup for this and informed them I did.  I also told them you pissed the wrong person off this time & my credit card company will be getting all my backup info and I am sure they will be investigating into this charge also.    Got his behind in gear , kept asking me to hold, coming back and finally telling me he would take care of everything.
So I suggest everyone dealing with this unreputable company try the LIVE CHAT HELP.....I hope this helps everyone  and I wish there was someway to let people know not to order the tea from this company. Very deceiving company to say the least.    Good Luck

Just like everyone else I signed up for the free trail and was charged the 6.95 for shipping.  I never received it.  Then about a month later I got my 1 month supply and was charged the 34.95.  I never received the trail.  After about a 30 minute conversation and asking to speak with the supervisor they credited me the 6.95 charge.  Now I have the living lean charge as well.  Does anyone know if this is a one time charge or on going?

I am probably the most remote person to have been ripped off so far as I am in Australia. I have received the tea and have paid for it as agreed but am also being charged the $19.95 ripoff charge every month like everyone else. Just warn everyone to stay away from Wu-Yi tea as it is a scam.

Supposedly, I was one of the chosen ones that was suppose to get the initially shipment of tea free.  All I had to pay for was the shipping of $6.95.  The following is from my order confirmation:

"Thank you for your order! You will have 2 full weeks after you receive your tea to evaluate the product and see the results for yourself before you are ever billed. If you’re still not sure after that, you are still fully covered by our 60-Day Full Money Back Guarantee (which doesn’t start until after the 2 full weeks)."

Before I could receive the initial shipment, I was charged $37.00.  I felt  scammed, so I called and could not reach anyone. So I went on the site an found an email address.  I demanded a refund.  They respond and indicated that they would issue a refund, but the refund would be less a 15% restocking fee.  I knew it was a scam then since I had never received the product.  After I finally got my refund of the $6.95 and the $37, I thought it was over and then I began noticing charges for $19.95 for living lean.  I could not recall ordering anything.  So I called the number, no information was available. I went on-line and starting looking for the number and came across this site.  This was so helpful because I had not idea it was connected to wu-yi.  I went back to my order confirmation found the reference to the Living Lean Membership.  I have demanded a refund of the unauthorized charges and I plan to follow up with every governing authority to expose their thievery.

By the way, after I had gotten my refund, this product was exposed as a scam on the Mike and Juliet show in late December.

Before I could get the tea, I was charge $37.00 for the full order.
