- Dee replies to Connie| 1 replyI also received a charge to my credit card. Call your bank and request that they reverse the transaction and credit your account with the funds. Let them know that it is a transaction that you do not recognize. I have contacted Wu Yi Tea and requested my account be closed. I don't know how IW/Living Lean got my number other than through Wu-Yi Tea.
- Kristina| 1 replyI just received my credit card statement with the $19.95 charge from Living Lean. After reading everyone's messages about the problems everyone was having - I went ahaead and dialed the 866 #. I also spoke with Lori. She did say my "subscription" to Living Lean had been cancelled and that I would recive a refund for the $19.95 in 3-5 business days. It took me about 2 minutes to get through. I called at about 10:45 EST. I'll let you know if/when I get my refund.
This is a lesson for me next time I order something on-line, knowing it probably doesn't work anyway! - stellai did get my refund of the $19.95 back after calling the customer service number of 866-396-5695.
- ROBERT WALKERI did not receive a call from them but a charge for $9.85 appeared on my VISA check card statement. I never bought anything from these people and I have never dealt with them. How did they get my credit card number and why are they charging stuff to it illegally????? I contacted my bank and they said:
Our records indicate that this charge was check card purchases from SmartTemplatesPro.com in Fort Lauderda, FL. This transaction occurred at 3:17 p.m. ET on 03/06/08. You may contact this merchant at 866-449-5567.
When I call that number I just get a recording saying to email teahelp@usa.com
WHAT IS THIS SCAM??? I WANT THEM ARRESTED, A CRIME HAS BEEN COMMITTED!!! - rainfallI ordered the tea today, but I read the terms and conditions, which I have learned is ALWAYS a good idea. I knew I would be charged for the living lean subscription. I also knew I could cancel right away, which I did. I will keep you posted to what happens. I want to try the tea for 6.95 but that is it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was asked why I wanted to cancel and they tried to talk me into keeping it for 30 days. I was told that if I canceled today I would not be able to use the living lean site at all. I said O>K with me I DO NOT WANT IT!! So, it is supposed to be canceled.... We will see>>

Wu-Yi Source - Shirley replies to Allie| 3 repliesThis happen to me as well. please tell me what to do shirleyalmanson@yahoo.com
- Laurie711Wow....I just returned the tea today, because I was expecting to be able to try the tea for the free trial period of 14 days. But they sent me a months worth. Before I opened the package, I went on the site and did the online chat to see if I could open it, keep 14 days worth and return the other 16 days. After MUCH back and forth, it was clear, there really is no FREE trial, and you are automatically hooked up for a monthly charge for the tea. I was sooo reluctant to order from here in the first place. I am so ashamed to say it is a huge scam...and I fell for it. I havent noticed further charges yet...but atleast I know to watch for them. I just packaged up my tea to be returned...we shall see what happens.

- Laurie711| 1 replyOh, and in response to Mike Stef from Wu-Yi Source's messgage from March 19th....Really? You are sorry for the inconvenience?? That is what this scam is based on...causing enough of an inconvenience to people that genuinely think they are getting to try this product for free for a certain trial period, that it is too much trouble for them to return it...that is, if they even notice it. If you truly want the Wu-Yi experience to be a pleasant one...why not follow through with your deal to REALLY let people try it for FREE! And not start charging for other things and signing people up for crap they don't want or need. This is a fraud if I ever saw one. I don't know how you people sleep at night knowing how you are making your living.

- Tamarah replies to Shirley| 2 repliesI just called the Living Lean in Las Vegas. They had added the 19.95 charge onto my account. They told me I had agreed to enroll into this program. "Cassie" the customer service lady said I could cancel the program and would not be charged in the future for the service. (Not that I even know what the service is).
She gave me a Cancellation code. I then asked her for the address of the company because I wanted to mail in a formal complaint about the scamming they are doing. Only then did she offer to refund the 19.95. I then received a refund code. I guess I will wait the three to five days to see if the money is refunded. - alwaysdrivin replies to upset in Texas!I had the same issue as all of you. I got the address and RA number to return my tea and am going to send it UPS with signature required....i don't even care if i break even, i am going to return it. Also the Living lean charge showed up, and i don't remember signing up for that either, but called my credit card co. They gave me 866 396 5711 number, i was able to get through and spoke with a very arrogant man...Jan. they gave me a confirmation number and "assured me" that there woudl be no further charges...i told him not to worry, that i had already cancelled my credit card. Good luck all
- KC replies to Lori| 5 repliesToday I ordered that "free trial" Wu-Yi tea, and then right after read all of the issues of fraud that people have had, I am kind of scared and I am not exactly sure what I should do. How do I cancel the order?
- KC replies to Lori| 1 replyHave you received any refund yet?
- Wendy replies to Lori| 3 repliesI too have been hit. And this site saved me from future issues. I spoke with the tea company and was promised a refund in the next 5 to 7 days. But the Living lean is seperate issue. I could not get my money back from but I did cancel. I am going to change my card acct anyways so I don't get hit with unexpected charges that I didn't ask for.
- Dawn| 2 repliesI did what Mike said to do and I called the 866 number. The message said to cancel you had to write to teahelp@usa.com. I wrote an e-mail and the response was that I needed to contact customer service. I called the number again but ended up being hung up on. I called and finally talked to some guy named Joe. He told me I had to call another number. I called the other number and was told that the $19.95 living lean was a part of ordering the tea. I told her I never wanted living lean nor did I approve them to charge me for it. She said she would refund only one month's charge. I told her I wanted both charges credited back. I then was transferred to a supervisor. After a lot of venting she said I would get a credit in 3 to 5 days. We'll see what happens. If it doesn't I am going to ask our local television station to investigate. I think their business practices need to be investigated by the Attorney's General Office.
- Shirley replies to TamarahI cannot believe what we are all having to go through for this extra charge of 19.95. I thought when I cancelled my tea this living lean charge would cancel, too. I will try and call on Mon but I don't have a good feeling about this at ALL.
- Caroline replies to VanessaI have spoken to a rep on the phone, to no avail, and have chatted with a "live person" on line. I have been given 3 different answers concerning my refund. I guess it's floating out there in cyberspace somewhere. I am giong to contact the better buisness bureau and would ask all of you to do the same. These people need to be stopped from seperating good faith people from their money.
- A. Turner replies to LoriI am having the same problem with this company taking $19.95, from my checking account monthly.
- No Ones Fool replies to Mike Stefwell well well Extrememly Sorry you say...No your not..your just sorry you got caught.....
Mike Stef...how do you expect people to contact either
place when you orginally didn't even list the phone number for Living Lean....come on...do you think people are really going to let your company charge them for something they don't want. You people are pathetic...I have been investigating your website and "Jessie Williams" is really "Jesse Willms" who is not in Las Vegas and you can't personally call him....so he lies from the moment he opens his mouth.
I sent everything I found out about WiYuSource & Living Lean & E-Direct Software to my credit card company....CNN...FoxNews...Readers Digest...so we'll see what happens now Mikey Boy.
I told you once that you pissed off the wrong person - ANNETTE replies to Wendy| 2 repliesWendy,I too got scammed for $71.80 and only received the free trial, as they call it. So today, 3/24,I cancelled my Visa.
