- Laura replies to Lori| 5 repliesI have also been charged $19.95 for "Living Lean" and didn't know where it came from. Wu-Yi has stolen money from my account twice. I have tried calling several numbers and of course no answer. I have just written them a letter to demand my money returned and I am reporting them to the Attorney General in Nevada and in Michigan where I reside. I ordered the tea and cencelled before the shipment arrived. Of course they said it was too late and when it did arrive I returned it unopened. So I was out of $6.95 shipping and then was charged for another shipment! I was credited with $31.45 but it took 4 emails. I cannot find their shipping address. Can anyone help me out? I need this for the formal complaints. I hope others also file complaints with their Attorney Generals in their state.
- Laura replies to HannahI have received two charges, one for Feb. and now one for March. I am trying to get this stopped and return my money! I have made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and also am contacting the Attorney General in NV, CA and Mi where I reside.
- Sunshine replies to HannahYou will be charged monthly if you don't do something. I was charged this
amount on my February bill....and when I called about my 6.95 charged I was told everything was cancelled including the Living Lean ripoff. So I have been constantly emailing them and I'm about to go the the website and have a live chat again with one of the reps. I did contact my cc company and they have credited my account. But I'm still after this rip off artists to give me credit. Just back up everything you do
I will let everyone know how I make out with this
Good Luck - Sunshine replies to CrozzoHi have you notified your credit card company they will credit your account and start and investigation.
I am sure the people in here are not the only ones this is happening to and it is probaly all over the world. There is alot of complaints on other sites as well as the Better Business Bureaus here in the US and in Canada. I done quite a bit of research on them. I am thinking of getting in touch with a Television station and telling them what is going on and they will investigate it....you might try that in your wonderful land of Australia
Good Luck - Faye| 2 repliesI also got took for wu-yi tea I was charged $6.95 used one tea bag did not like it and the very next day sent it back and within a few days was charged $37.00 and after sending an e-mail to get my money refunded they had charged me a 15% restocking fee then yesterday I checked my acc and they have charged me $19.95 and I don't even know what that was for. I'm glad to have read the information above it will be a big help for me.
- Sunshine replies to Faye| 1 replyHi Faye
I have the Terms & Conditions on this stuff and no where does it state a
restocking fee. I would question them about that...you yell loud enough and the back down. I actually copied and pasted the Terms & Conditions the day I ordered Jan 22, 2008 and I went online again and on March 3rd the the Terms & Conditions were completely different and again on March 5th they were different.
This was in the March 3rd Terms & Conditions (If for any reason you are unhappy with Wu-Yi after the free trial is over, simply return the tea for a refund. A fifteen percent restocking fee will apply. If you have any issues with the restocking fee, or want it refunded, please email us at teahelp@usa.com or call us at (866) 449-5567))
I would question them about it because like I said when I ordered there was not mention of a restocking fee.
I hope this helps
I am going after them big time....I have contacted Cnn.com / Foxnews.com / USA Today and Readers Digest who they state advertise on their product. So hopefully they will stop ripping people off.
Good Luck - SunshineHi
I called 1-866-396-5711 today and was told by Lori and/or Laurie that the Living Lean Subscription would be cancelled and I would receive a credit within 3 - 5 days. Well lets see what happens. I told her this was cancelled in January by me and supposedly by Online Chat Reps. She informed me that you could only cancel by using the famous 866-396-5711 and I told her it's pretty hard to do that when the phone number wasn't given out by anyone or on the site in January when I ordered. The phone number is on the site now by the way.
I also informed my CC company so they can look into it further. My CC company has already given me a credit but I didn't want them stiffed for the $19.95 so I was persistent about finding out about these jerks.
There is a really a Living Lean website and if you go there the poor girl has a note at the top of the page "We are not "Living Lean Subscriptions" or Wu Yi Source....poor people must have been loaded with email.
Alright thats it for today. I will keep you updated as to if I receive my credit.
Good Luck Everyone - carolhitt60| 2 repliesthis was not a phone call but a $8.95 charge on my card, I got this number from my bank. The charge was to Libra USA, I called the number and they only answered "customer service" and would not give me a name, but stated they were not Libra USA.
- GWEN replies to ChristyTonight, I was ordered the tea also without looking at the comments that I just discovered. After reading all the comments about this product I called my credit card company explained what I read about the company and ask what can I do to stop the Wu-ya Weight Loss System from over charging me. To my surprise, no more than an hour $6.95 was charged. The customer service on my card informed me to cancel the card so I would not be overcharge and a new card would be send to me. A lesson I have learned. This was to good to be true.
- Susan replies to carolhitt60| 1 replyI too had been had. What is living lean and what do we get for the charge of 19.95? I do not get what the charge is for? I reported this to my Credit card Co. Since this is a Sunday and the number is not "open" I have to wait to call. This is horrible, I think the WuYi tea company should be shut down. It is not stated in a open manner of the Living Lean charge, they sneak it in the end agreement. Then they word it in a way that you think it is all one charge, and if you cancel the tea then your done with them. I think they should refunnd everyone the money back for the tea too, it does not work and it is not even green!!!
- Albert replies to ConnieObviously Wu-Yi Source is a well organized scam. Their chat room option is a nice touch, it gives one the feeling you are talking with a real rep. Funny thing though, in perusing numerous Google entries regarding this company I noticed whenever the chat option is mentioned, and I have about six instances, it is never the same name given by the person with whom you are chatting. They must have a room full of people there - wherever "there" is. Most people seem to be dealing with an address in Las Vegas but when we asked for a return address it was in Ontario, CA. They have not refunded $54.95 for a returned shipment but instead charged us an additional $59.99 with even bothering to send another shipment of tea. We have canceled the credit card and referred this matter to authorities.
- Melissa| 1 replyI too have been scammed by Wu-Yi source and Living Lean.
I called again today and was told my order was cancelled again.....
I also got the charges for $19.95 from Living Lean?Who the heck are they?I never authorized these charges either!
I went to my bank to get my money back.I filled all the necessary paperwork out so Im waiting!
I suggest everyone who has been scammed please do the same!
Also the number to Living Lean doesnt work! 1-866-396-5711. Everytime I call it says it cant go through as dialed! I called Wu-Yi and pitched a fit! 1-866-449-5567. They say oh they are on lunch break right now.You call later. BS -Do they have lucnch break for 6 weeks straight at ALL hours day and night?
Also another website to see and complain to!

Please copy and paste link above. Thanks! Have a great day all! - Jaimie replies to Laura| 3 repliesI just called Wu-Yi source and got their shipping address. It is: Wu-Yi Source, 5300 Ontario Mills Parkway, Unit 400, Ontario, CA 91764. I am sending my tea back also. So far, I have only been charged the $6.95 and Rose at Wu-Yi assures me that I will not be charged anything else, except the $29.95 if they don't get my tea back before 3/20. I have to deal with LivingLean separately. I got an email address for them - admin@selfhelpworks.com. I tried to call the 866 number for them and nothing happens, it doesn't even ring. Hope this helps. Jeez, what a rip off.
- sunshine replies to kariThat is not the Living Lean Subscription site...they do not have a website. There is a Living Lean in San Diego that the poor owner had to list on the front page that "We are not associated with Wi Yu Source or Living Lean Subscription" this place will have to do the same thing
The only way to contact Living Lean Subcription is through the telephone number 866- 396-5711 - SunshineHi All
I just wanted to let you all know that I did get my credit for $19.95 from Living Lean yesterday. So you can get a credit if your persistant.
I know I made myself a real Pain in the A to Wu Yi Source with emails and online Live Chat...also I included in my emails that they pissed the wrong person off this time & attached copies of the BBB of NV, CA and one from Canada. I also told them I was contacting the places like CNN.new & FoxNews.com & Readers Digest(who are shown on their website) I might add that the only ones to reply were Readers Digest...I would have thought the News sites would have replied.
Don't give up keep trying and notifiy your credit card companies and your banks they should help you, well I know the credit card companies will..I don't use my debit cards for just this reason.
So GOOD LUCK ALL
Hope I'm not here to complaine again>>>> :) - stellai've chatted with wu-yi and they said i would recieve a refund w/in 7-10 days. it's been 13 days & no refund. i just tried the live chat - "Nolan" said he was checking my order & never came back. i did, however, receive an e-mail from raven media member cancellation that my subscription to living lean had been cancelled and gave me a confirmation number. their address is: cancel@productcustomerservices.com. i sent an e-mail to them asking where my refund is. we'll see what happens.
- stellai received a confirmation e-mail that my living lean subscription was cancelled. i e-mailed back about my refund. i received one from them with an customer service number of 866-396-5695. i called and she tried to say that i could not get a refund because i didn't call within the 30-days. i told her i had a copy of the terms & conditions and that there was nothing about the charge on there. she put me on hold and came back and said i would receive my refund within 3-5 days.
- Paul Wee replies to Janis| 2 repliesThese people have their scam system designed perfectly. I placed a trial order, but I didn't feel right with something they said in their ad. So I canceled my order within one hour and got a cancellation confirmation number. They told me they will not charge my card - but did. I notified them not to ship me any tea - they confirmed that. That was back in Nov of last year. Naturally I thought that was the end of it. In Jan they charged my account $19.95 and again the same in Feb. So I called and talked to a girl with very heavy Inda accent. In fact EVERYtime I called them everyone that works there had such heavy India accent I could hardly understand them. This time, she also said she will give me a "courtesy" refund. From the way they had conducted business, I seriously doubt that would happen. So I suggest that everybody that are in the same shoes I'm in to contact (1) the internet fraud division of the FTC, (2) BBB just sound good, but it is powerless to anything and you know Jesse Willms is not going to listen no BBB. (3) contact the Attorney General's Office in your state. With as many complaints already in existence, the AG many prosecute Willms or bann him from doing any business in your state. (4) post your complaints in detail with the badbusinessbureau.com and the the whole world know what crooks these people are. (5) Send an email or letter to Oprah and inform her of WuYi's shinanigans. She most likely would not stand for it and take her endorsement from WuYi ads. (6) If we, the scammed, don't work together and fight back, we are actually ENABLING the likes of Jesse Willms to continue scamming others.
- Leanne replies to VanessaHi, I also subcribed to the wu-yi tea on the 28th Jan 2008, I was charged the $6.95usd or $7.95au for the special trial, at the same time I was also charged $6.95usd or $7.95au for life script, in which I new nothing of, they are also linked with this wu-yi site, I never recieved the teabags, I finally got hold of life script as they tried to retrieve more funds from my account in which I didn't have enough funds at the time, which was lucky for me,so then I had their information, and they refunded my funds as they don't send to Australia, In which I never ordered anything from them anywas, wu-yi then cancelled my subscriptions on the 21st Feb 2008, but today I just found on my bank statement that the living lean/las vegas company took unauthorized funds from my account on the 28th Feb 2007, in the amount of $21.79au or $19.95usd.
This company needs to be put under full investigations and the fraud squad should follow up on all of these complaints, so we can stop others being taken for a ride like we all have.
After all of this I advise anyone who is wanting the teabags to go to their local herbalist and see if they could get the wu-yi tea. - jenSame thing here, I have been charged twice, and I cancelled mid January 08. no product has come, so I wasn't thinking that my card was still being charged.
