This is ammmmazzzzing....with allllll these complaints about Juniper etc. etc.and whatever else they are..... it's no wonder they had to hire ADMIN......Sorry that they won't help good people pay them back. Seems like lowering interest rates and payments would be most helpful for some folks. Especially in this economy today. Question to ADMIN....why is it that credit card companies won't do that? Wouldn't they rather get paid back what's owed them by their customers rather than making it so difficult for customers to pay up? What's up with that? Maybe bankruptcy rates would lower also. And also, why do they hire outside the U.S. to "handle these phone calls"
- ChristianneThis number keeps calling and when I answer no one (and no recording answers). When I called it back they did ask for an account number or SSN, I pressed the '#' key until I was connected to a live person. I was asked for my name, and I declined (also asked me for SSN or Account number which I refused as well). I only gave them the phone number that I recieved the call on, but they told me that number is not in thier system, after a whole lot of run around and getting no where I am extremely frustrated. After having bought a foreclosure home I have been through many, many, many bill collector calls for the previous owners of my home, but I have never before had this issue. If there is a automated system calling me, they need to be able to remove my number from it - I did say on the call if I recieve another call at this number I will take legal action because it is harrassment. If they call me, and cannot remove my number then there is something very wrong, and it is harrasment. How did they get my number in the first place?

- mrjimbo64I continue to get calls from this number with no anwsering on the other end. They call once an hour staring at 9 a.m. and continue to call all day long. After picking up on the first ring 3 times straight and no one anwsered I am now ignoring the calls.I wish I had annoyomous Call reject so when they called it would automatically hang up. I am sick of being harassed at all hours of the day.

- Gaurav VermaI filed a complaint with Federal trade commission at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FTC_Wizard.aspx?Lang=en#last about this. I remember talking to a US airways rep in Mar2010 who said he will double my miles. I told him I DO NOT WANT ANOTHER CARD. He said no problem, just give me your information. He STILL applied for the mastercard, it seems, because now barclays thinks that i owe them $284 and that I have a card with them. Actually, I do not even know that I have a card with them. This is total fraud.

- Lamberta| 1 replyWe get calls from this number starting 8:07 a.m. every morning, including Sunday. We get about 20 calls a day, at least, sometimes in rapid succession, like three within three minutes. I'd been ignoring the robocalls for some time, assuming they were coming from several places. Today I *69-ed a robocall, and got this number, 866-408-4070. When I called back, I got a recording that didn't identify a company by name, but demanded my "account number or social security number" to speak to a live person, so I hung up. I then called Verizon. They said they will not give us the identities of the *57 traced calls (I began doing that two days ago). They said we have to get the police involved, and Verizon will give the numbers to the police. But I suspect that all the calls are coming from this number.
Someone mentioned Barclay's as the name they're giving. Now I remember getting a voice mail from someone saying they were calling from "Barclay's" for another family member, about a month ago, and saying it was "important." We haven't returned the call because no one in this household does business with Barclay's.
Just now I decided to do an Internet search of this number, and I'm getting a lot of hits about this being a widespread harassment and scam operation. If it is, why haven't authorities taken action?- Caller: Barclays

I love that idea of usuing calll forwarding back to their number. They are driving me nuts and all my bills are paid and up to date. I am hard of hearing and tired of having them repeat things. I only listen to them once and hang up within a minute. I wish I could block that number. Maybe I will in future but they all me exaxtly 8am to about 15 times thruout the day. They even called on Sunday before Labor day plus on Labor day. Wish I could stop them some how. I even filled out the "do not call list" but to no avail. They are breaking the law some how. I simply ignore them but to tell you thuth, they can get to be annoying expescially when I'm not in good mood. sigh
Thanks to all for your feedback. That is the 1st thing I do when not recongnizing the number. - marty replies to sugarHa, blowing the whistle was making me laugh. Did they give up after that??? - just curious. I understand there are so many people out of a job but this is one job I would never do to others. Harrassing them all time of the day and night. Just plain crazy. I'm going to get a Fog blow horn next time.
