OBviously "Z" you have no clue what you're talking about. The letter IS proof. I'm not about to argue with you. Our webpage is in development, as i previously stated. We submit dunning letters as required by law and Settlement letters, payment in full letters as well as payment arrangement letters. What other "proof" would you like?? Also affidavits of debt ownership. If for some reason we leave messages on wrong #'s, all anyone has to do is call us and we will gladly remove it. It wastes our time as well as yours by calling wrong #'s. It is not our fault debt borrowers leave bad numbers to contact. I am not excited about having to explain our company as well as the people that say things about us but until our webpage is developed there will be no further communication here.

These a$$bags called me today about a loan from Plain Green Loans and I asked for a debt validation letter. The guy who answered the phone was like, I dont know if this already went to the county and Im not supposed to tell you anything about the debt. I said really. When I refused to verify with the first guy, he hung up on me. This second person said that he knew about the scams, etc and told me he didnt care if I paid the loan or not. Then he got loud with me when I asked for a debt validation letter and told them to remove my information. Third time is the charm, some nasty woman answered the phone and I told her to remove my number and this was a scam. She got nasty with me, said it wasnt a scam and hung up...These [***] needs to go down. I am waiting for the debt validation letter, but I did inform him I cannot be arrested for this and that I will file notification with my attorney

I have been harassed by these people who claim they are from zimmerman young and associates, they threaten me by saying they are going to arrested me and garnish my wages! All my debit is paid off! They spoke to me like I was a piece of crap! Does anyone know how to report these people? Please let me know

You never provide anyone with a letter!  I asked several, several times for one to be mailed out and surprise... nothing was never sent to me!    Kinda funny how the calls magically stopped when i finally fought back and threated to call an attorney, the local authories, the media, and the FCC.  The funny thing is we have never, ever taken out a payday loan, so i was never once tempted to fall for your scam. Seriously, the legitamit attorneys I know are way too busy to be on the internet looking up if there reputation is bad.   Is that were you got your "law degree" too, on the internet?   You simply buy a list of names from these companies and try to SCAM, SCAM, SCAM....... oops there I said it.  You mad bro?

Just because you want to be a leader of something in life you apparently think you are the leader on this blog, which happens to be the first site that comes up when our number is searched through Google. We don't "buy" names of people and make up Payday loan debts and provide banking info used and ss# and address assoc and emails because we feel like it, these debts are legitimate and owed. 2nd, i NEVER said i was an attorney EVER! Who is the "FCC" by the way? You mean the FTC? Do you realize how many bad debt payday loans exist? Literally millions! In most cases these debts are eventually sold from the original lender because of people like you that scam the payday loan company and don't pay it back when you state you would. I would be happy to speak with anyone in reference to "Sam's comment above. My number and extension are in this blog. Also, does anyone realize how many judgements i see for bad debt payday loans on individuals credit reports? Too many! How can a "scam" company obtain a copy of someones credit report?? Because they are LEGITIMATE! Yes I'm upset with "Sam" because he is an idiot and can't spell so he is a likely candidate for legitimately owing on a payday loan. Good luck to all those that KNOW they took out the loan and don't pay it. I'm POSITIVE it is 75% of you because anyone that tries to avoid paying something they owe go out of their way NOT to pay it back. All i can say is if you know you owe a debt and want it resolved and paid, then pay it. No you dont i have asked for a letter numerous time, I either have the person hang up on me, or they start threatening with the jail mess, but magically i never get a letter, i would love to see if anyone on here has actually gotten the letter from u guys proving they owe money and for what debt. Also, now that not only I am getting calls but my poor husband who is a teacher is getting calls at school with the usual voice recorded messages from john preston saying he better call by noon or else, i have now contacted the law. He is a hard working teacher and there is no reason for anyone who cannot prove we even owe a debt to call him at his school. We paid off our debts a long time ago, cut up our credit cards, everything, so we knew it was likely a scam, and after reading page after page on here of the same thing, i now know my thoughts were correct. I have read tons of posts and not once have I seen anyone say they got a proof letter showing what debt they owe. I have also filed a complaint with the FTC and I even called local authorities after you guys threatened to send the sherriff-lol, they said they had gotten tons of reports about you guys scamming. It is pretty bad when even the cops know ur a scammer. Also,someone on here said John Preston was fired, well if that is true how come u guys are still using his voice recording, lol. Until u guys provide proof of any debt, I will not pay a thing. Also, if the calls continue then legally i will take this further. One last thing if u guys aren't scammers, than why are their hundreds of reports on u being scammers given to the ftc, they said they get complaint after complaint u guys. I have yet to see one person who could prove you are legit. You can say u send out letters all u want, but I personally have yet to see one. Also, you said if it was a wrong number to say so. Well what do u think my husband has been doing everytime u call his school, its kind of hard when to ask anything when people are yelling and threatening you, and then hanging up on you only to call an hour later to do the same thing. So sad....

Give poor Jim here a break. He's obviously a hard working and relatively conversant fellow. Tell us Jim, wherever do you find the time? What with all those millions of "bad" loans out there it sure is nice of you to take the time out of your busy day to defend the honor of your so very reputable industry. You must have a large staff. Dealing with all those letters of validation must be a huge task. Oops, I forgot. You use those affadavits of debt ownership. I gotta' get me some of them. Tell me Jim, what format do you use when you're printing those up?
I realize that times are tough. There must hundreds of files on your desk concerning those evil debtors. You're just doing your part to help the economy, right Jim? An upstanding, moral firm like yours would never engage in dishonorable practices or pursue a debt that wasn't legitimate now would it? Of course not. Your courteous staff is just there to help the poor down-trodden masses that have forgotten their obligations, aren't they Jim? And I'm sure that you must have to spend countless hours perusing those legitimately acquired credit reports and claims so that you can filter out those poor innocent people that may have fallen through the cracks. You wouldn't want that highly professional staff of yours to inconvenience people that don't owe a legitimate debt now would you Jim?
I'm almost sorry that I've never visited an on-line loan site or so much as stepped inside a pay-day loan office. I'm sure that if I had I would've been able to enjoy dealing with a man like you. Integrity is so rare these days, isn't it Jim?
I'm sure that it must be galling to see what all those illegitimate debt collectors are doing to the reputation of your fine trade. They are an insult to all of the rest of you who try so hard to adhere to such high standards. You know the companies that I'm talking about. The shysters in boiler rooms who are panicing because the payment is due on that BMW that's leased in their mother-in-laws name. The firms that have Associates who are freaking out 'cuz they missed last weeks rental payment on their wheels and tires. The company with that Investigator who's eating Valium like candy because his girlfriend told him that if she don't get her bling she's calling his wife. Or that legal firm that can't make payroll this week because the rockman won't extend them any more credit.
But you don't have to worry about that sort of thing, do you Jim? I'm sure that when your web-site finally goes up everyone will be able to click on a link that will bring them to pages of  highly believable people singing about your virtues....Right Jim?

Told I owed on a payday loan. Asked for details and the contested debt through the mail, but was told the matter had to be resolved immediately. Claimed that with legal fees, etc., could be close to $4000. He offered a same-day settlement of $1500, $2000 settlement if settled a week later. The whole call was high-pressure and no details were forthcoming.

This person keep calling my number stating that they are with Zimmerman, young and assoicates and to ask for mr. perston in  a legal matter in nyc.  they will leave a file number, the telephone number with an extension.  how can i stopped this from happening because this is annoying since the calls come in the morning or at night or in the afternoon.

i took out a payday loan or several pay day loans even tho it says the interest rate is high but i still took the money and spent it now i dont wanna pay it   so let me act like a victim on here

I had my identity stolen and several loans taken also my account was drained i paid back the loans and what was stolen from my old account i have the letters to prove it.I paid the money back even though I didn't take out because my credit was on the line. So why are you people calling my tablet

If ANY collection agency or law firm calls you trying to collect on a debt, simply ask them to send you a copy of the orginal loan papers. This is a LEGAL requirement of all loan companies. Don't try to argue with them, no matter what crazy [***] they say, just say Thank You and hang up. I would advice you not to even return the first call. As of last week, Preston called me, so obviously the above postings are false.

He says that Preston was terminated, but he continues to call me on a daily baisis, and this "law firm" isn't listed with any agency that would be required to operate a such a business. Scam

Does anyone know where these guys are located? This type of scam is usually run out of India, but this guy sounded completely American.

This guy is a scam artist, doesn't any connection to a collection agency or law firm. I wish someone could figure out a way to call him automatically at radome times throughout the day and night. That is all I want for Christmas Santa. Gods Speed
