I have had my phone number for years.  I get calls from these "Shieces of Pit" like every other day or so.  These "Futher Muckers" are a total waste of time.  What I want to know from everyone else on here is, once they answer and say, "I need to speak with .......(Shannon D. Martin in my case)"  And I promptly begin to tell her to "Go Huck Ferself, that Ditch Boes not live here..." I get a rude 'I have removed the number....  So, what I want to know is, when they tell me they have removed the number, does it actually work?????

They called me about a Anthony Morgan, 6 times. I called them back six times to be placed on hold or disconnected each time.

The parent company is MCL Financal systems, you may fax your request to 1-423-279-3133 Attention Angie Clark. She will probably not answer but if you leave her a voice mail it get you number removed fairly fast. Include as much info as you can like account # and name of the person you were called about.

If your the person being called about, then fax them twice, once after each of the next two calls asking them to stop the harassing calls, be nice in the fax as you may have to show it later to the phone company, police or federal trade commission. (I filled a complaint today with the FTC about this company, long question // prompter at FTC but the agent took the information!)

Base parent company phone number is 1-770-300-2500, You have to the receptionist that you need a number removed from "AssetCare's outbound calling program" she will connect you to a ring through which is AssetCare, tehn ask for Angie Clark or if the operation does not answer the extension is 3103.

Rember be nice as we don't want them changing phone extensions and numbers!

We have told them they are calling and asking for someone that don't live here, they promised to take my number off the list, but they continue to call, been calling over a month now night and day, as late as 9pm. please help!

You can report them to the Do Not call registry
because You have Not established a relationship with them.
write it down and report every single call.

Do not mess with these people.  They knew of a legit bill that I owe and they said they were now in charge of it.  They said if I gave a check over the phone today that I would only have to pay half of my $488 bill and they would mark it as paid in full.  So I did.  Long story short... they aren't in charge of the said bill and now they have my bank info.  They are rude, they will yell and cuss you out in a heart beat.  They have no BBB number.  THEY ARE A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is ridiculous.  They called me several times day and night asking for someone who does not live here.  Then they act like you are lying when you say you don't know that person.  No I don't never did know that person. They keep calling asking for someone named James, it's an automated call, they call me at all hours it's extremely annoying.  I don't want to actually contact them because I worry that'll make it worse.  They need to STOP SPAMMING.

on 11-10-07 at 8:30 a.m. I received a computerized phone call from 866 429-3952 about an alleged debt I owed, which was not even named or described.  When I returned the call, the person who answered the call refused to identify herself or the company she worked for or what alleged debt she was talking about out involved and hung up on me. I would like to file a class action lawsuit against these SOB's, as I am tired of these GD collection agencies who try to illegally collect on debts that the stature of limitations has expired on or otherwise not legally collectable, and they attempt to collect said debts by by pure harassment.  I would welcome any contact from anyone in Tennessee (where I have my law license) who wants to sue these SOB's.  I intend to charge no fee to anyone who wants to sue these SOB's; I just want to cause them the kind of grief that cause me and thousands of other citizens.  They even call people who have had their debts wiped out in bankruptcy.  This crap is all illegal but no one wants to puruse it because it usually involves a couple of hundred dollars and is more trouble that is worth.  Well, I was raised differently,e.g. "millions for defense but not a penny for tribute".  I want to cost these people some serious money.  Anyone involved may only get a hundred dollars or two for their participation in this sort of lawsuit, but it will costs the SOB's who use these illegal tactics several million dollars to defend,  If you want to get some satisfaction out of knowing you caused these people grief, contact me.  My e-mail is: charlesrcurbo@aol.com. Asset Care @ 866-429-3591 continues to call my place of business.  When I called back to tell them they had the wrong number and to please quit calling, a very rude woman told me that she did not have any control over the calls they were automated, when I told her the company she was representing had control and I was doing what the call instructed she cursed at me and hung up.  Who are these people?

Why me!!! I pay my bills on time, I vote, 2 daughters in college, a wonderful husband that drives me nuts but I wouldn't trade him for the world..We both work hard, love God, hate religions..Tell me somebody, why is this number with a recording calls me 4 or 5 times a day looking for one Andrea V.....This person has the same last name as mine; the last name is unique so they are assuming that we are related....My husband and I are debating about disconnecting our land line...Enough is Enough!!!!!

Received call this afternoon for Edwin Winsett in regards to personal business matter. Never heard of the gentlemann and have had this phone number for 5.5 years. Just called back and am currently holding while typing this. Spoke to one woman who has forwarded me to someone else. Still holding.

May block number from phone if necessary through phone carrier. By the way, Im still holding.

So I just started getting phone calls from these guys and as many people in this thread have said, when I call them back I simply get disconnected. So I decided to do a little Google work and found out that Assetcare Inc, is a subsidiary of NCO group. The person responsible for registering NCO with the SEC and their Edgar filings is a gentelman by the name of Joshua Gindin. He can be reached at 800-220-2274 and then you have to go through the directory.

If I had a legitimate debt, I would be more than willing to pay anything. I know as a fact that we don't. Since whenever you call this number you simply get hung up on AND there are all these posts about the company, I can only assume it is some sort of scam. I have registered a complaint with Do not call and the states attorney general, but I encourage everyone to call Mr. Gindin and leave messages frequently. The only way this will stop is when they start to get overwhelemed with responses. We now have a direct way to contact a senior person in the corporation.

For months I have been getting automated calls from this number for someone who does not live here, just happens to have the same last name.  I have called and told them that, they said they would stop, but they have not.  I called and asked for the name of the company, they said Asset Care, but I cannot get any farther with them, as they hang up when I ask for a supervisor or anything else.  What can be done about this harassment?
