- satThey are calling me day and night as well. July is not up yet. They call on the hour. I wish I had gone through GM or Bank of America for financing on this vehicle. It was a nice car, but I was not desperate. I was out of town, made the June payment in July. Now jUly is due and I am paying it. This is harrassment. I work, pay my bills, and try to do this on time. Due to cicumstances, I had one late payment.
I really thought Caddillac would also have had a finance dept. This outfit is charging 10% interest. Highway robbery. They will get July's payment, and every payment after that. What is their beaf? Never again will finance through someone of whom I am not familiar.
Thanks for the imput. I guess the harrassment will not stop even when you do make the payments.
SAT of Dallas Texas Thanks- Caller: Fifth Third Bank
- NickZ| 1 reply-I get calls from this number about 10 times a day. As soon as i answer they hang up, or they wait for me to stop yelling at them first. It's driving me crazy and if i could find the [***] that was doing this i would wring his neck.

- Carrie| 1 replyI've received calls from this number for 5/3 as well on any day of the week, including multiple times on Sundays, for an auto loan. I refuse to give them any personal information and they get really angry. I've told them I will not deal with them over the phone (I make all payments at a branch location and have for years) and they always 'threaten' to send me to collections if I don't give them the payment right then and there. I even sent a complaint to the Better Business Bureau about them but nothing was done. *The more people that submit complaints with the BBB, the lower their score will get with them so report their harrassment to the BBB as well.* However, the corporate person from 5/3 I was put in touch with told me that there was no issues with payments posted on my account. Worst experience with a financial institution ever. I tell everyone I know not to do business with them.

- Frustrated ReceptionistI have received repeated calls from this number and when answering - it disconnects. I did call the and actually got a live person @ Fifth Third Bank. They were very polite - looking for a specific person, but not a name of any previous employee. Since we have more than 7 incoming lines, it will be interesting.

- NickI also got a call from this bank (Fifth Third). The only problem is I don't have an account with 53 Bank, so to any people that do and are receiving this call I would be very wary to give them information.
This is most likely a scam of some sort!- Caller: Supposedly 53 Bank
- KEThey are calling the office I work at, the fax line of all lines to call, way to often. Our office doesn't have any accounts with 5/3. This is not the only place calling our fax constantly, dozen times of times a day. It's ridiculous. you would think that after getting a fax tone every time you call you would give up. But that's right everyone has computers call these days and then make you wait till they come to the line.
- PattiHave calls from the phone number every day, sometimes several times a day - including Saturday and Sunday. They start just after 8am and no one is on the line when we answer. Yes, 8:05 am this morning (sunday) and yesterday 8:02 am (saturday) and sometimes 10-12 times a day - no one on the other end of the line. Is there any agency where complaints can be filed? Anyone had any luck with that or anyone file a police report?
- juicethis seems to me like they hacked through verizon wireless somehow. i do have a credit card with fifth third (i don't use it) but once i switched phones and registered this blackberry i've been getting the call from this crazy 1800 number 8x a day. i think it has something to do with verizon's systems.
- Caller: fifth third
- CowgirlSo far twice today we have received a phone call from this number 1-866-450-0037. When we answer it no one is there. I know this is a SCAM ARTIST and it had better stop because next time they will be reported.
- 5/3 customerThis has been reported to 5/3's fraud department and when I was on the phone with the real 5/3 the assured me this was not a phone number from their company and it is a scam. On 9/8/09 it was made very clear to 5/3 that their customers were being harassed by this phone number and it was made clear to multiple departments including the fraudulent dept. We will see what happens from hear on out. I advised them to Google the phone number and they will see these forums.

- mr Tive been getting calls from this number on both my cell phone AND home phone for almost a week straight now. ive had the cell number for a few months, and the home phone is only a few weeks old. if i dont pick up, there is an automated message saying its Fifth Third and they need to speak to me, and give me the 866 number to call back. (i dont bank with them, first off!) well i have called back a couple times now, and both times it goes to an operator, i say someone from this number called me, they ask me for my home phone, tell me its not in there records, and give me the customer service number and hang up abruptly.
i never call the service number, the guy both times doesnt sound like a bank employee and no bank would have their staff just hang up on someone.
the few times i do pick up when they are calling me they ask for some "michal garcia" or somewhere along that name. i tell them they have the wrong damn number, and again, i get the hook abruptly.
i dont know if this is a scam of some sort, but personally, i dont trust whoever is on the other line...- Caller: 5/3 bank, apparently
- marlene replies to CarrieWell I get the same calls day and nite 24-7 it sure does get on your nerves every hour on the hour. Will never do any bussiness with them again.Imogene garrett
- WTHive been getting calls on my cell phone from this number for the past two weeks now. it always starts off with a recording telling me this convo may be recorded, and then a thick-accented male (though on a couple occasions, female) asks for a michael someone-or-another. i say he has the wronng number and to please not call again. obviously my verbal statements are not working...
- Caller: i guess 5/3.
- Dan| 3 repliesLike Kefari, I got a call on my cell phone from them about my credit card through 5/3, too. I do have an account with 5/3 but not a credit card so I was confused. He kept asking me to confirm my name, d.o.b, etc., but I refused.
The guy then told me I owed $140 on said card. Getting angry, I asked him what these charges were for and he claimed that I received a $100 fee for never using the card, and then $40 in late fees since then. I laughed and said "So you're saying I owe $140 on a card that hasn't even made any purchases."
He said "of course!". I hung up on him and have received a call a day for the past 4 days. - theotherguywell do not feel like you are alone on this one - these people called at 02:00 a.m. - chasing $ 35.00 they claim we owe on a card 53 cancelled for lack of use - everyone needs to just keep them on the line for as long as possible which I do screwing up there call performance and saving someone else -

- unknownthis person calls me nonstop during the day when i am in college. if i could find this person i am not sure what i would do to them physically. they ask for personal information and I called to stop this person and they wanted myt credit card and my name. i dont even have an account at 5/3 bank. they are a scam so dont give out any information. I havent answered their calls because my phone wasnt on me but if they call one more time they might hang up when i start going off on them.
- Caller: 5/3 bank
- Annoyed| 1 replyI called them back and the lady asked me my name, I said your calling my cell phone U should already know my name! She got mad cause I wouldn't give her my personal information.

- COWGIRL replies to coreyI get the same thing from these scam artists. I had a call from these jokers at 7:30 the morning . They need to cut out the calls and every so often they leave a message for a person who doesn't even live here. There needs to be a better way of getting in touch with someone so these calls stop. I'm tired of the harrasing calls.
- calThis is a legit call from 5/3 Bank. I had an old CC that was closed but had some leftover interest I forgot/didn't know about. may as well pay it so it doesn't get sent as a major collection on your CBR for it. Pay yo bills people
