- Katy FreemanThis number has called 3-5 times/daily for the last 2 weeks. When I answer the phone, a message states "Please hold, you have an important call from 5/3 bank". After holding for a minute, the caller hangs up.
- Not Mr. RodriguezThis number had been calling my cell phone every weekday for the last few days, sometimes 8-10 calls per day. I had no idea who would be calling me from this number, but they would never leave a voicemail message. It was getting to the point where I was having to recharge my phone more and more often because it it was ringing so often and running down my battery. One time I called back assuming they would have some kind of automated menu that would at least tell me who it was, but a real person answered saying they were from such-and-such bank, I couldn't understand them for the most part, and I thought no real bank has actual people answering all of their phone calls. I was surprised calling a 1-800 number to get a real person, so I just hung up when it seemed fishy. Later when they called back I finally just answered, and they asked for Alex Rodriguez or somebody, I told them I'd never heard of them, then they asked me how long I'd had my phone number, I told them "a while", even though I've had this # several years, but some total stranger doesn't need to know that. Whoever these people are, they are sure annoying and unprofessional, I wouldn't trust them.

- annoyedthis place calls me about 5 times EVERY DAY! They are harrassing! They will not leave a message.
- lisa replies to Raymond Myles| 2 repliesBEWARE! Fifth Third Bank is FAMOUS for taking out payments on time, then posting them 2-3 weeks later then hit you with a late charge and claim YOU paid late.
Happened to us a minimum of 10 times, glad to be rid of them!! - henryThey began calling on Friday. 4 or 5 calls yesterday. On the fifth call today, (Sunday, holiday weekend--think about having to work for these types!) a voicemail was actually left--it's 5th 3rd, calling about a Visa payment that is still not 7 days late, on an account which has never been delinquent. They must be truly desperate. The bank's name is odd to start with, but can reveal its true character if you leave out the 'h' when pronouncing the second word. Use your imagination!

- Dave| 1 replyIt is 5th 3rd bank... they call when you're a little late on your payment. Of the finance companies I've had over the years I dislike these guys the most due to their unfriendly dealings with their customers. Once this loan is paid off, I will never use them again.

- Melissa replies to lisaOMG THey do take them out and post them WAYYYYYY later with late fees and all. I used to have a 5/3 checking account. I paid my load with 5/3 through THEIR ONLINE BANKING. So, it was going from my 5/3 bank account to my 5/3 loan. It should have posted in 2 seconds, right?? wrong! They posted it DAYS later with late fees and all. And to top it off if I am ONE DAY past the due date (still within the grace period) they will call me literally about 10 times a day starting at 7 am CST!
- MElissa replies to DaveI completely agree! they are EXTREMELY rude and you can't understand a word they're saying. Mine will be paid off in October and I will NEVER use them again!
- Melissa replies to RichWe should all ban together and start answering the calls and giving them crazy info that doesn't even make sense, sending them on a wild goose chase! I have even heard of 5/3 looking online and finding out who your neighbors are and calling them as well.
- GrammieI get a call on my cell phone from this number just about every day. I do not have an account or never had an account with Fifth Third Bank. Very annoying. Someone else had my cell phone number before I signed up with Virgin Mobile a few years back. I'll have to see if I can block calls on my cell.
- BeckyI get 6-12 calls per day from the 1st on. I have talked with 3- 5/3rd banks who have apologized for these calls (I have always paid within the grace period). The banks have said that these calls are not to start till after the grace period. They tell me they will take care of it but so far nothing has worked. Yes, I suppose I could pay before the original due date but my renters don't pay till latter and the bank has confirmed several times not to worry about it. I don't worry it just drive me crazy to think no one can do anything about it!

- HRG| 1 replyThis is 5/3 Bank and they will stalk you if you are 1 min. late on your payment! My payment was due on the 22nd and I mailed the check on the 18th (ahead of time like always!). They called me three times in less than two hours and tried saying I was thirty days past due which is false. I have not missed or been late ever! They suspect it got lost is mail but still tried to do late fees. I suggest calling them back rather than avoiding the calls. Ask to speak wit a senior rep. and then rip their head off like I did!

- PJ replies to AnnoyedSame with me. I asked her what the call was about and she said she needed my name first. I told her to %^*( off.
- PJI believe they're debt collectors. However, 5/3 goes to the extreme at step one. Instead of notifying a customer they're late on a payment, they ship you off to these people, who harass the hell out of you. Ironically, they don't have access to 5/3 records, to see whether you've paid the bill or not. I've run a week late on a bill, paid it online, but still got harassed for two to three days after. I don't think they should get a late fee if they also get to harass you.
I also love how the bank can take money out of your checking account to pay a loan account within the same financial institution and still take 5 days from debit to credit. Scumbags. - Missy866-450-0037 I'm home on medical leave and this number calls every day! Sometimes more than 5 times a day. The few times I decided to give someone a piece of my mind, It says please hold and then I had "all operators are busy". They are the ones who called me. Well I got a person finally and told them to quit calling here. However, I just got a call again this morning and again it says "Please hold" I just keep hanging up.
How do you block a telephone number from calling. Don't think my phone has that capability.
I do have a Mortgage Loan from 5/3 but I don't believe this is really 5/3.- Caller: Fifth Third (hoax I believe)
