Stop these phone calls

THEY ARE ALWAYS CALLING ME ALL THE TIME. THAT IS JUST PLAIN HARRASSEMENT. FIFTH THIRD BANK CAN GO TO HELL

I don't even have a fifth third account but i have a verizon account wish they would stop calling

I get calls from this number all the time and it disconnects before I talk. Today someone identified themselves as being from 5/3 Bank and began asking for personal information regarding my wife and her account. She has no account with 5/3. I believe that this is a scamming situation and needs to be investigated.

after reading for months that this is a scam call, i finally spoke to someone from this # who told me to call 5/3 customer service at 1-800-972-3030 bc i owed $2 on a mastercard.

i verified that # he gave me is 5/3 customer service, i called and they informed me of an inactivity fee they charged me for not using my mastercard in so long.  they waived the charge since i never used the card.

this # was calling me 10 times a day over this, so id recommend calling 5/3 and making sure they dont call you anymore. it was pretty simple once i stopped listening to all the ppl who said this was a scam.

I'm getting calls stating there is a change to my account..yes I have accounts but nothing where I pay them. When I called them back they asked me if I knew this other person who I had NO clue who it was!! They wanted my account numbers which I wouldn't give and asked me how long I had my phone number?? He has obviously given MY phone number now I am getting his collection calls!!

This is a legit phone number to 5/3 bank in Cincinnati.  They do try to collect any money they feel is due.  They are a [***] bank!  I've left and gone to another bank b/c of all the fees, hidden fees, etc.  They have a "fee" for EVERYTHING.  They charged me $50 to cancel my business checking account.  They chaged me $3.50 every month for a credit card account I closed calling it an closed account maintenance fee.(I have balance but closed the card) so they charge me $3.50 for a closed account fee.  It's all BULL [***].  I banked with them for over 10 years and was sick of paying hidden fees.  5/3 is the WORST BANK ever.  They rob their customers every chance they get.  BTW, did you know that when you make a purchase on a debit or credit card the amount is taken out of your account immediately.  However, if you return an item it can take up to 10 days before they credit your account?  Nice, they'll take your money but won't give is back as quickly.  5/3 SUCKS!

I have been receiving several "hang up" calls from 1-866-450-0037, also from one that comes up "unknown" on the caller id. I get about 6 or more a day. I do not owe 5/3 any money, so they would not have any reason to be calling me. i tried to call them back and got some guy, speaking very, broken english, if you could call it that, and he was trying to get me to pgive him my phone #. Sounded like he was from India, very hard to understand.

We do bank with 5/3 and after receiving a call like this not long ago from this number my husband went to our local branch.  They said that no one from 5/3 was making these calls and that you should never give them info on the phone.  They are a scam.

keep on calling and hangs up, get these calls at least 10 times per day.

Called the number back and, indeed, it is 5th/3rd Bank.
The gentleman asked for my phone number and addressed me as "Mr Schiff". That's  not me and I don't do business with 5th/3rd.
He asked if I had allowed someone to else to use my phone #. Uh no.
So he claimed they'd remove my number from their system. We'll see.

IT IS A SCAM!!!!
This number has called our work office several times a day for the past couple of weeks. Since we answer our phones with the name of our office instead of "Hello" they hang up on us immediately. I have called it back and spoken to a gentleman who asked for my phone number right away (as if they did't have caller id). I refused to give it to him and asked that they not call us again because it is interfering with our business calls. An hour later they called again. Again, I asked them not to call us in the future. They do claim to be Fifth Third Bank when you speak to them and on their pre-recorded answering statement. I would expect Fifth Thrid Bank to very concerned and aggressive with these complaintS. If they continue to call, I plan to have some fun with these scam artists!

My parents's mortgage is through 5/3 but usually we'll get an automated message if the check hasn't shown up yet. These people keep calling but when I say 'hello', they don't say anything so I hang up. They're calling several times a day and I'm getting sick of it.

You all are so correct. I payed last months payment, but a little late. I  was waiting on my new checks.
I was out. I t hought I would have them iwhtin 7 days. It took more like 14 days. My payment was in withing the grace period offered. They don't stop calling. My payment is not dure until the middle of Apiil.
Next, I purchase something, the financing needs to be in Texas not somewhere far off. I thought the dealership would give me dealershop financing or something local.  The don't stop calling.

Thanks, I feelf better knoing i am not alone. The dealership that it was ok because the payment wasn't for five more days and there is a grace period unless these payments sit on someone's desk until someone decides to look at it.

Receive a call from this bank (or whoever they are) every morning...Same script listed above...I called back on this number, received a polite lady who transferred me over to their "call-center" another polite man received my call...I told him I had NO account with his bank...He wanted the last 4 digits of my SS#. He stated I wasn't the person on the account, he stated my phone number would be removed from their system in 12 to 48 hours...Now it's been over a month, and still getting the same stupid call..I have filed reports with the FTC....Nothing!!!! "Do Not call list." What a joke! ...I just erase this call from my answering machine every morning. I don't want to shell out the extra bucks for call blocking...My phone bill is enough now...I am retired...

I do not have a 5/3rd account and have no idea why they keep calling me. I do not and will not answer the phone.

this number keeps calling and i would like to know where to report it, they call eveyday 8 am and  thru the day and night even on weekends i have answered and they hang up, we r really gettting upset and want the call to stop. please with technology today someone should beable to stop these callers

These people have been calling thre to four times a day including Sunday. I have a car loan from them. I pay electronically via my bank. A payment was authorized and should have been delivered by now.
