Here is how to stop them from calling.  
This is a toll free number, no cost to the person calling.  So, if everyone calls them and says I just called to say hello, and do it about 15 times, it will run their phone bill up, they pay for the toll free service. It will also tie their people up so badly, they may just go out of business and stop bothering everyone.

I called the number and asked for a supervisor. I got Emily.  I told her to take me off the call list as I did to 3 or 4 other supervisors.  However, I was not taken off the list.  So now I call and just tell whom ever answers that I just called to say hi to Emily.  I did that about 10 time in 15 minutes.  Finally, one of the operators told me they are busy and wish I would stop calling.  I said I am busy as well and wish that they would stop calling me.  

Try it, it may work if we all did it.

I was getting calls from this number several times a day. I found this site and finally called them back just now. The lady was very nice and said they'd get my name taken off the list in 24-48 hours and to call back if the calls don't stop. Hopefully they stop so I won't have to call again.

I get calls from this number all the time! I've only had 2 today but sometimes it will be 5-10 times a day on my cell phone. I usually press ignore, but if I answer, they just hang up. It really annoys me, and i wish they would stop.

They have called me twice and haven't said a word when i picked up, they said they were an insurance company. from like Kansas area

This number is from the company Career Path. My daughter gave them info when looking for college scholarships. I received 2 calls for my daughter. When I would ask who it was, they hung up on me.  I decided to find out who it was and did research. I reported the caller/actions and they apologized and took me off the list.

I am fluent in several languages and since these mentally and character dificient telemarketeers do not understand the " don't call me again ", I just speak to them in a foreign language. Can't speak other languages? Talk to them in Martian, make up nonsensical words, get a wistle and blow in their ear, get some bagpipe music, anything to make them dread, dialing your number and most of all enjoy pissing them off. Fave funnnnn.

i actually got the nerve to answer the phone. well the rep advised me that i was recently on a affiliate website. and they got my number and if i wanted a career. hhmmm. the only way i can figure this out is this company got my name and # off my resume i have posted on some websites.
okay. if they are getting #'s this way. these morons really need to take a good look at the resume. i already have a career. and well i have enough bills right now and going to school right is the solution i already owe sallie mae.

Yea i kept getting calls from this number, but didnt bother to call back when i missed the calls... today i answered it and someone asked "is william there?" i replyed "yes this is" and they hung up right away lol...
So i called back and some lady answered and i said that this number had just called me and she said they were having some problems the last few weeks with numbers or somthing. think the company was Career Advisors...

I don't answer these calls but they've called me at least once a day for the last 2 weeks. It's driving me crazy!

i think this number belongs to some career search organization helping you in finding jobs,internships etc. I got a call from this number today!!!

I get 2 - 3 calls a day from this number for the past week. When I answer no one's there. When I call back they tell me that its about school information. I've asked them to take my number of their directory, they say ok and that it will take up to 48 hrs, which is a lie, cause I'm still calls from them.

I go to the University of Florida, and this numbers calls me a few times a day, usually while I'm in class, and don't say anything when I answer. Any ideas how they got the number? And they will stop calling if you put your number on the national do not call registry. Just search in google!

these [***] have called me, somegtimes four times a day, for the past two months, at least. Of course, I've told them to stop calling, but it doesn't make a difference. i don't need advice for a career, and even if i did, what the hell makes them think i'd respect theirs?

I keep getting calls from this phone number too. I called and talked to some guy who said he was with Career News or identifies himself as a career advisor. I advised him 4 times to stop calling my number. He kept saying it takes 48 hours for it to take effect after he gives request to his supervisor. I get calls at least once a day but sometimes twice. I told him I was complaining to the National Do Not Call Registry and the ftc and the bbb!!!! They can be fined for doing this.
