This just happened to me today

Calling from a licensed carrier, re:summons requiring my signature and 2 forms of ID. This was on my voicemail today.

Thank you for note. I received the same message and figure it was a scam.

Just got call from Cristy Mills  no company name stating had till end of day to respond.  I will not be calling back these people are scammers

I just got this same call.

I got a call from Jerry Mills, he launched into tell me how he had my account and that I was going to be served and that it is a felony that I did not follow through on a loan from over six years ago. I filed bankruptcy in 2013 and he had that information but refused to provide me with any valid documentation on the account that he had. Said he would email me a settlement letter and it was a letter to provide my credit card (because I am stupid enough to do that) to pay off this debt yet still not providing any actual information on the previous account. They have called from so many different numbers but always refer back to this one. They can serve me then....

Its a "felony"?  You didn't follow through on a loan?  Wow that's certainly a new one.  I never knew that it was a crime to inquire about a loan and then not take it out.  He has your bankruptcy then he knows that he is the one committing the felony by breaking the law.

Got a call,voice message about a claim from a CHRISTINE,SAY I HAD BEEN NOTIFIEd and they are moving forward,that this call has been recorded,no company name,no info on claim.that I need to contact by the end of business day.866-568-4463,CALLED,NO ANSWER,NO COMPANY ID ON RECORDING,ONLY LEAVE MESSAGE.SOMETHING NOT RIGHT ABOUT THIS NUMBER

I got the same call today from Christy Mills calling from a 916 number asking that I call back to 866-568-4463.

They left a message for my Mother in Law who has been gone for a couple of years. They can arrest her if they want to exhume her; but I just remembered that she was cremated! So I hope they will be happy with a cup of ashes!

Called threatened to have me arrested for a bill I owed 10 years ago

Wow I am so glad I look this website up because I got the same call couple days ago regarding a debt that was 10 years ago . They have all  the details correct who I owe how much I owe, saying that I that if I don't pay I will have to go to court pay attorneys fees and court fees. They went as far as giving me a docket # they did a credit check on me and they see that I have a credit card but won't tell me what the credit card number is I spoke to a Jerry on the phone and I also got a message from a Chris Thorenson last names are different but it sounds like a scam to me

I also called my local county office and they told me there is no cases on file. I called the BBB and the Federal Trade Commissioner offices

Why did you bother calling a worthless, toothless organization like the BBB?

I got that call this morning they would be serving me with a summons tomorrow and I would need two forms of ID to get the summons

I received multiple calls from these people. They even went as far as calling my dad. I have no idea how they even got his number. I finally answered and the person calling me claims to be a process server that was looking for me to give me legal papers(an actual process server isn't going to call and warn you). They refused to tell me what it was for so I just kept calling back until I got a guy who claimed to be an arbitration officer at the local Court. I asked to have a sit-down meeting with him but he refused. ( Because he was lying about being a government employee). By this point they were calling me on local cell phone numbers, I'm guessing through a computer phone number generator. He finally told me that I was being sued for $1,300 for an in-store credit account I had at Kay Jewelers 8 years ago. I asked him for documentation on the debt at which point he got really mad and told me that he wasn't going to play games with me and that I would receive a subpoena. I guess I'll just sit around and wait on that. Lol these people are such a joke. So many violations going on here.
