The response to that has already been posted in this thread. Learn to read and you will learn the answers to many questions before you have to ask them.Quote:has anyone actually been served for these calls?
Can they collect on a debt older than 4 years old? In 48 states they can.
Can they threaten to sue on a debt older than 4 years old? In some states but not all.
Again, if you had read the other posts that has already been answered and what they must do according to the law to prove that you owe the debt and that they have the legal right to collect has been posted.Quote:i honestly dont remember anything that far back

Have gotten these calls before; would like to know how they get my number and why they keep calling me!! Don't answer either of those number they have to be SPAM CALLS!!
- Caller: Kristy Mills
- dc550They just called me and left a message also with the Christy name. The only thing they could possibly have on me at this point in time is something that's over 11 years old and they're wasting their time. I've gotten a lot of calls like this where they said they were going to serve me and they never have. They're fishing.

I never responded so the claim has been acknowledged and ive been notified. and then she told me to call 866-568-4463. So funny how im supposed to call that number but yet the number Christy called me from was a 773 area code. BULLCRAP SCAMMERS!! i wish there was a way for us to penalize them. Its super frustrating and annoying.

- Jenn GHave received several messages from Christy Mills. My in laws have received several calls from Kimberly Price. Both from different Google phone #'s that can not be called back. Both leave threatening messages that they have notified me and I have not responded so they will continue with the claim on their desk by the end of the day. When I call back the 866-568-4463 that they left, they have all my personal information which is scary. They will not provide a company name that they work for, a company name of who is supposedly suing me. I told them to come to my house and serve me as they have threaten to. I also advised I have a ring door bell and will forward their picture to the authorities for scams, harassment and threats when they do. They hung up.

- Mel BGot the same thing; and of course from others. When these people leave messages; especially using scare tactics like coming to your place of employment and speaking to your supervisor, threaten you with arrest, etc. it's all just BS. They call and tell "warn" you of an impending case against you and give you a "chance" to make things right by calling them back. I'm sorry, whenever one of your creditors has exhausted all means to communicate with you, they will file a case in court but no one will call you and give you that second chance. Once a case is filed, that's it. My advice: block and/or don't answer any calls you aren't familiar with. I wouldn't worry about a thing until someone serves you papers. Process servers or constables can come out to your job but will usually try to serve you at home first. And they don't do it in a threatening way as they try to be discreet and will never threaten to talk to your supervisor. They will ask for you at the reception area and not involve anyone else. These people are all out to scam good, hard working people. They'll bother you for a bit and once they become aware you're not going to answer, they'll all go away for awhile then circle back again a few months or up to a year later. Some people they end up bothering every day more than likely because they've had previous contact with that person. Spare yourself the grief and DO NOT answer the phone. Changing numbers really does no good because they will still eventually catch up with you. Typically it's people that owe old credit card debts (over 7 years old so by law they can't touch you) or payday loans because at those places they sell your information to third parties. That's how they find out names of relatives or friends because you may have used them for references.
