Well, I have been receiving phone calls as well from an "Investigator" Lopez.  How funny is that!  I work for the police department and know that these are not real Investigators.  I only called back once to speak to Ms. Lopez and she was unavailable. Go Figure!!!  I can't wait to speak to her personally and inform her of the one true LAW!  But I'm sure she'll try to transfer me to someone higher... LOL!

Company called my Aunt and said they had a civil matter between me and the County I live in. I called back and they told me to verify my SSN, when I told them to tell me what this is in regards to, as I don't want to just give anyone my SSN due to identity theft, the woman told me that she will see me in court.

I just received a call from my uncle saying I was due in civil court on Thursday.  He gave me this number - which is odd... if I were due in court, why would it not be a local number? I called... they said they were an investigative service. I asked what did they investigate, they would not tell me, they kept asking for a case number... I told them I didn't have, so I hung up.  A few minutes later I received a blocked return call on my cell phone directing me to visit the website jansatm.com!

I'm not sure what to think. They called my relatives looking for me! Saying I was being sued. I told them I wanted to go to court and asked them what would happen if I didn't pay. They told me in 30 days I would be served. I got some court summons saying I was being sued over a cash advance loan. ! I didn't know I could be sued for that! It's just like credit! Who gets sued over credit! I called them back and they said they couldn't help me because it was sent out for court! I don't think I'm going to show up in court after all it's not criminal!

These people called my grandmother, my uncle, my mom, but they never called me. I was told to call them back within a couple of days before this matter goes to court, I have been set up with a payment plan from them they asked for 400.00 up front then asked for less when I didnt agree. I'm really mad now because I have paid money to them. They said It was repayment of a payday loan back in 2004. What to do next?????

I recieve a call from 866-571-7616 from some investigator named Kennedy.  He said that I have a court date in two weeks for an unpaid balance from 2003.  If I don't settle the balance that he has the attorneys wait to go away ahead with the with the civil suit.  I asked for verification in writing before I agree to anything.  A week goes by, I recieve a letter in the mail that tells me the case number, who is suing me, and the balance.

I just received this call a few hours ago. Some Detective Kennedy is the name of the man who called me. I do not know who they are or what they want, but after seeing all the comments on all the differant website for unknown callers, I do beleive it's a scam. But my question is, If everyone is reporting them to the BBB and one person said they reported it to someplace in Washington DC, why are we still writing these comments? If something is suppose to be done about these harrassing idiots why are they still out there? Some complaints date back to January of 2008. When is it going to stop! There has to be at least a dozen of complaints from all over the USA about these fools and still nothing?

Investigator Reynolds has called twice asking for my long ago ex. My husband and I were initially upset as my ex has stalked us for years and we moved across the country in hopes of ditching him. I'm not sure how my number was associated with him 10 years after our divorce but the person is asking for him in regards to a civil suit naming him as the defendant. I don't find this hard to believe, he's a crook and a con man. We tried to call the office to tell them he isn't here and couldn't get through.

I received a call from an Investigator Rick Alexander on 11/03/09 at 6;45 PM. I wasn't able to get call but he left me a voice mail stating that there is a civil suit against me.  Never told me where he is calling from or what the civil suit is about. Then he said that if I don't get back to him that court action will be taken.  Funny, he just told me there is civil suit against me already.  I know to avoid them, but these calls give you a sick feeling inside; making you feel like a criminal.

My brother got a call today from an investigatoe Robee, saying that the there is a civil complaint being filed against me. I called the number but the office is closed. I googled the number and this came up. What should I do with the information.Who do I repor it to?

An Idiot named Richardson left a message on my machine asking about my x husband that I have not seen in 15 years. I called back because I wanted to know if it was serious. Come to find out it was a company trying to find him to collect a debt. I told the guy I was not going to give him any info and told me he was just going to keep calling back. got a similar call for a relative and they seem very phony won't answer any questions and dodge them by saying they are offended by having to. A no doubt fat low life named John Henry would'nt give up any information regarding their call.

they called friends number and left a message for me. i called them and they were very nasty to me on the phone, they harassed and hung the phone on me. i called back and advised them not to call me again,

i stared getting phone calls by a so call detective Robinson. now is detective Jason Stevenson harrasing me to pay a accout thats not mine saying that if i don't pay they will pick me up.. i call the TX. district attorneys office and that they have to leave you a batch number  with a 10 digit case # also  destric attorneys office or any law inforcement office will send you a letter first..

Got the same kind of crap. Left a message on my brothers answering machine that I was being sued and he needed to contact me. Filing with attorney generals office as well. Maybe get my lawyer to sue them.
This has got to stop.
