It sounded like someone reading a script

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!!   They said it was from a payday loan, which I have NEVER taken out in my life.  Peter Smith is calling harassing my family and me.  They are very rude and just are looking for money that is not theirs!  He told me that his client Jeff Goldham was suing me I said I wanted Jeff's info he said ohhhh I can't do that cause then you would be seeing him in court, I said bring it on!  I told him I would have my attorney call him.  I have filed complaints with the FTC, My states Attorney General and Georigia's attorney general.  Everywhere I look their address keeps changing??? Hmmm Red flag here!  I asked for proof and documents on this so called loan and was told that they are unable to do that.  Another big shocker.  lol  HUGE FRAUD!!!!!  Please file compliants with your attorney General and Georgia's attorney general so this can be stopped!!!!!

I received a few calls from these people.  One was a woman who called my sister, a friend and me.  She left a voice mail.  said that i was involved in a civil litigation and they were trying to get in touch with me.  Thinking something was up i didn't return the call.  In February i received a call from investigator Alexander saying I took out a payday loan in 2006.  I have never heard of the payday place and never took out a pay day loan.  asked him to fax me a validation letter and all i received was a notice on Integrity's letterhead stating that i owe this money to this payday place.  From what i am understanding of the law don't they have to send you the information from the original owner of the debt?
What they sent me doesn't prove I owe there people anything.

I am going through this crap with them too.  I have filed complaints with my state's Attorney General, and also with Georgia's attorney general and the better business bureau also.  The number I called to reach Georgia's attorney general was 404-651-8600.  They took a statement from me then asked me to type something up also so it was my words on what is going on and fax it to them.  They knew of the company right away!!!!  They told me that I would hear a response back on the results they find in 4 to 6 weeks  

They are FRAUD 100%!!  Do not talk with them, I made the mistake of calling them and telling them where to go lol now Peter Smith is harassing me non-stop.  Let's do all we can to get them taken down.  I have been researching everything I can on them and all I find is fraud.  I even called Marietta, Georgia, the city where the company is supposedly located, Chamber of Commerce office and they said there is no record of that business in their city.  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE call the Georgia Attorney General at the number above.  Feel free to google the number first so you know that I am not directing you to the wrong number.  

Also keep detailed information on when the company calls for your records.  He is calliing me, my in laws and my parents non-stop and I have to put an end to this but we all need to work together on it so that we can get them caught!

oops and I forgot to mention that yes a company has to send you the info from the origional debt collector.  It can't be typed up on their letter head...  They are MORONS! lol

Are you still getting calls from them???  I am and it is driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!   You should also call the Georgia Attorney General and file a complaint.  The number is listed in my post below and like I told Dolly, please feel free to google the number so you know that it is a true number.  The man that I talked to at the Attorney Generals office was super nice and knew the company well... The more complaints they get the better the chances are of closing this one stupid fraud place for good.

They are calling my family, telling them they are investigating me for a civil matter. I want to sue. Can I sue them. Please help.

You can't sue them for it unfortunately, because they are unable to be found so you will just be wasting your time and money.  I have been fighting them for a few weeks now.  STAND YOUR GROUND!  Tell them that you researched the internet and they are fraud.  I found out now 100% that they are.  Contact the Georgia Attorney General, I have the number listed above a few posts ago.  Don't give them any personal information.  Tell them you are putting claims in on them in Georgia and your state's attorney General.  They stopped calling me and my family finally after I told them off a few times and told them I was contacting all of these Attorney Generals and so on.  You won't be arrested or taken to court like they say that they are doing.  They are just threatening you for more personal information.  They are rude and don't care about anything but getting money from you.  But like I said STAND YOUR GROUND and tell your family not to give them any personal information becuase it is a fraud company!

Received a call from a person by the name of Kacey Jones from 866-571-7616 at work which I informed them not to contact me at work again.

I have no idea what theses people want but they keep leaving horrible messages
