- BulkheadA member of your household has OVER 9000 ready. The total cost will be OVER 9000 million dollars.
Seriously, if I were to ever get a call like that, they would need the paramedics on stand by to revive me.
Just saying, the reason why it won't record on a voice mail and or a message machine (people still use those things?) do to privacy reasons (and won't respond to a pre-recorded voice)- Caller: WalMart Pharmacy
- Mary replies to GregUh, no. I've never signed up for this service because I don't use WalMart's pharmacy. Don't know how they got the number or what the call was about.
- Michelle replies to DebJust got the call, wasn't sure who it was, don't answer calls I don't know, LOVE this service!
- MarAnneIt's Walmart - telling me my prescription is ready :)
- Caller: Walmart

- BEBE replies to legit servicesSorry...my Dad never signed up nor has had a prescription filled ....he gets the calls constantly...
- 866-575-4108Most people say this is Wal-Mart pharmacy but it doesn't matter because they block their name so you won't know who it is and therefore can be listed as unknown, bogus or a scam. Why would a known company in good standing always block their phone number? It doesn't make since. They should know that people will not answer a call like this...I won't!
- Caller: unknown
- AnonomousThis is Sams Club / Walmart Pharmacy calling for a prescription that is ready for pick up.

- Lisa replies to Mookie| 2 repliesThank You! I have been getting calls from this phone number for WEEKS now and I haven't taken a prescription there in absolutely years. I take mine to Sams Club and I know theyre on the same circuit but I can call them personally to check on a prescription. I dont need these people calling my cell phone all the time and using up MY cell phone minutes. I get charged for these calls whether I take them or not. Love Sams Club & Walmart but hate these calls...its always an incomplete message too so I cant understand them.
Thanks for the info. I cancelled the callback service. - Lisa replies to legit servicesThanks for the info. I have gotten calls from this phone # and forgot what it was for and since I dont use the automated call service anymore, having the opt out info is useful. Thank you! I still shop at Sam's Club & have my prescriptions sent there but I dont need the service. The pharmacist there @ Sam's Club all know me and call me themselves when my prescriptions are ready. :) I must've forgotten about being on their call list.
- cowboy replies to Gotacall| 2 repliesThey also called our house while we were in walmart and DUH we gave them the cell number DUH person. In this society all numbers that do not identify themselves should be blocked. The number appears to be like the rest of the dumb and dumber calls we receive to scam us. Most of us label them dumb & dumber on our cells after we research to find who they are. The people above have every right in the world to suspect these computer generated calls.
- Walmart BoycotterI got a call from them but I don't have any prescriptions at WalMart and haven't been in one of their stores since the late 1990s.

- Indian replies to cowboy| 1 replyObviously, somewhere along the process you gave them your home phone number, and that's what is in the system; they didn't guess at the number or pull it out of thin air. Likely you had given them the home number when you initially filled your first prescription at a Wal-Mart, so that's what they're using. Giving them the number when dropping off a prescription isn't going to work if the pharmacist is flagging the script as being filled, and the computer takes it from there. It shouldn't take much detective work to track down and resolve the problem. I'm sure the Wal-Mart folks at the pharmacy will even help you do so.
A solution would be to have them remove your home number completely and then provide ONLY the cell number for them to call, and label it as "Wal-Mart Pharmacy Pickup Ready" in your phone.
They don't accept calls at that number (as it is outgoing-only), since they want to SPEAK ONLY to the person who is to receive the medication ONLY. This is in part to help prevent narcotics from falling into the wrong hands, for example.
If you are receiving a lot of "dumb & dumber" calls on your cell, ignore those numbers you don't recognize or those who block their numbers. It's not really rocket science, and some smart phones will allow you to have the phone completely block the call so it won't even accept it and ring. Of course, you may then miss that all-important call telling you you've won the lottery, or that your child is needing to make bail once again. But at least they won't interrupt Jerry Springer again. - MeIt's definitely Walmart. My doc called in a prescription for me and this automated number notified me with the cost of the items I had to pick up. It's absolutely legit.

- cloverleaf replies to legit servicesI listened--I am in a wheelchair my answering machine don't ramble. I didn't get to the phone *69 guess what. My area code is not 866. When we go to Wal-Mart it to shop not yack on the phone like others do. I'm shocked to see it's Wal-Mart handing script like telemarketers. I'm glad someone likes it but to get to a phone and no one's there it grinds my gears.
- Diddly Dee replies to MookieI called back, so now they know there is a real person behind my cell #,
& there was no Option 3. May try to find a way to block there # on my cell. - Diddly DeeNever use Walmart Pharamacy, so this call is Bogus. Possably they get $$ if you do call back, or put
your # on a list for sale.
There is no "Opt out" so don't call them back.
Just don't appreciate some 866 number waisting my minutes on my limited cell phone.- Caller: Diddly Dee
