Apparently you ara a crook also. I have been dealing with this account for over 4 years.  I have paid it off 2 times.  Now I get threatening phone calls from National Credit Works saying they have had this for 4yrs.  Why have I not recieved any documentation or any phone call prior to this.  The lady said her name is Linda Corella. Her real name is probably SCAM ARTIST.  So if you say they are legitimate I say you are a crook and and a n idiot.

I keep getting calls on my cell phone for a John Grubb.  This is not his number. I don't even know him. Please stop these calls.  His case number is 282167.  Now please stop calling my cell phone.

I started receiving calls from a woman identifying herself from "the processors office at National" she claimed she worked for an atty. Never identified herself as a bill collector. I asked for documentation on this bill and she said she had copies of my bank statements and that my acct was the collateral and that I could simply pay them directly over the phone. I had to be very firm in my request for documentation. It's been a month and I still don't have anything. They have my direct number and they also call a friend of mine asking for me. I don't live with my friend and have never used their phone number. These people are in violation when they don't identify themselves as a collector trying to collect on a debt aren't they?

I want to report unwanted calls from 1-866-618-5731.  They are calling my home phone as well as family phone numbers with a recorded message about a claim that was made to their company.  I do not owe this company money and I would request that this company calling themselves NCW (National Credit Works) be investigated for FTC infringements.

When I called the company back to ask them to stop calling they hung up on me as soon as I uttered the word "do not call".  Simply so they could not be held accountable and could continue to make their harassing calls.

The company has made multiple calls to family members who are now calling us asking that these calls stop infringing on their privacy.  NCW is harassing me and my family members without validating why they are calling.  Please take action against this company.

How is working there? Are the hours good? How is the bonus structure?

Don't pay any bill over 4 years old to any collection agency. They will bring the statute of limitaiton up and then they can send it to another collection agency in your state and get you sued! Sent them a certified cease and desist letter. But be very careful because you have some companies that think they are above the law and will go as far and tell you that they will have you put in jail.

What happens if you send NCW money? They said I owed a bill and the amount is almost triple what I owe on this old debt. I never received a statement in the mail like I requested. The lady, Tracie said they couldn't do it as interest accrues daily...I sent her like $90. (in a moment of weakness) to get her off my back. Now they called and said they're going to sue me for like $1600!

I just got off the phone with one "John Licata", if that's even his real name.  All he did was try to get personal information and when I repeatedly asked for his address he hung up on me.  I then called back and they won't even talk to me anymore, they pick up and then hang up the phone.  If that doesn't tell you NCW is a con then nothing will.  Don't EVER send these idiots anything, THEY ARE NOT THE REAL THING!!!  all they are is a bunch of low lifes who prey on gullible people.

Have any of you checked out their website at www.nationalcreditworks.com?  Check it out, highlight any of the selections on the page then right click and select properties.  Every single one is nothing but a link to www.searchtargeted.com with what you highlighted as the search term.  A legitimate company would actually try to keep you on their site so they can attempt to get your money, so this is simply more proof that NCW is a CON!.  I also checked out John Licata, according to search results he works for a company called Hogan Willig, but when you try to pull up their site you again get www.searchtargeted.com.  OK, so let's review.  

1.  Their phone line is an unpublished number, what business does that?
2.  They refuse to send a bill, perhaps to avoid mail fraud charges?
3.  They refuse to give their address. Again, what business does that?
4.  Their website is phony, if you owned a business would you do that?
5.  I can find no reference to them sueing anybody, in spite of their threats.
6.  I can find references to others sueing THEM!

Don't get conned by these rip off artists, as has already been stated they buy old penny purchased debt and then attempt to intimidate people into paying them.

I received a voicemail on my phone from a Ms. Moore that she was just calling me to inform me that unless i settled an old debt (with a credit card I had in 2005) that a judgement would be filed on Monday.

In a panic I called her back on Friday and tried to work something out with her.

I tried to make a payment arrangement of 1000 but that fell through so then I call her back and give her a payment plan I could afford.   I called her back again and she said that unless I paid the $1500 they were going to file a suit against me on Monday.

She wanted my bank account number and routing number, which I did not give her.
Her name was Ms. Moore

I asked if I could speak with the attorney she claims said that this matter had to be dealt with yesterday or they are taking me to court and they are gonna try to put a levy on my bank account and garnish my wages.

I am confused and a bit scared.    I did offer to pay 200 to her on my debit card but she refused saying that the debt is like 2000 and 200 could not hold off ligiation.  

ANy advice?    or HELP.

These people keep calling me from different numbers.  I'm starting to feel harassed.  The one time I did speak to a person, I asked them who they were.  They said that they were a law firm and they were handling a collection case.  I said send me the paperwork on what I did pay out and what they have on record of what I paid then we could make arrangements from there.  They said no that they couldn't do that and that I have to prove what I paid to them.  I said, "Do you think for a moment that I'm going to pay a company that I never heard of, money for something that they have no record of?  That's silly.  No I'm not the one.

I was getting the same messages from giove law offices in my husbands behalf.  He works odd shifts and was not able to return the calls and I was curious so I called back.  I spoke to a gentleman who told me that my husband owed over $1000.00 to  providian visa.  This was back before 2004.  So, being the naive wife, I figured I would take care of it and make payments.  He does not recall any credit card like this.  Now I am nervous about this money being taken from my checking acct on friday.  I am not sure what to do, they just emailed me the debt agreement...  Help?

I've gotten two calls from these jokers in the last 24 hours, as well as one about two months ago.

I don't have any debts or bills that have gone to collection, or that are not current. The recording spells out a first name (that is garbled but clearly not mine) and my last name. Wait, hold that, I found another person in Youngstown with my last name, and a first name that could be what the recording is saying. This person is unrelated to me.

Fortunately, the number they call is my Vonage, and I never answer that phone. The voice mails arrive in e-mail. I would have ignored it if I hadn't received two calls in 24 hours.
