- Skip J.Have to program these #'s into my address book to assign them a silent ring... I have 5x-10x more of these numbers in the address book than legit contacts.
They NEVER leave a message, they call for the prior owner of my # from 3 years ago, who couldn't handle $$.
Likely debt collectors, if they left a return contact you may be able to keep them from continously calling.- Caller: Focus

- Joe MThere is no way to stop these calls. I have had debts in collection in the past and had to settle and it was taken care of. These companies now want to empty out your bank accounts and do as much damage as they can to you. I have paid and settled debts and 6 weeks later the same company is calling telling me to give them my credit card and they will settle for half of what I owed? They do not want to help anybody. They want to get thousands of dollars from you even if you owe $25. Never give them personal info or cc numbers or your ss number. It used to be they just wanted to settle then they would notify the credit bureaus and life moved on. No more. They want to steal from you and even if you pay what you owe and they agree to, they will still try and steal from you or authorize a payment way higher then you agreed to or use your cc down the road without your consent. Get a phone with call block and you never hear your phone ring. The best way to get rid of debts is print your credit report and notify the bureaus of the tactics going on and that the debts are not yours if it is true and then let them work on it for you. If these morons dont have the proof they need or did not notify you in writing etc..It can come off your report. They also have time limits for the debts.

the next available rep. I stayed on the phone 10 plus minutes and no one spoke to me.- Caller: Verizon conference Center
- mousey replies to Bud GriffinWhy did you return the call? Even if there was a credible message, why would you wait on hold for that length of time? If you didn't initiate the contact, do not return a call and certainly don't stay on hold for any more than a minute or so.
