My friend, they will report it to a credit agency and distroy your credit, it would seem the credit people will listen to almost anyone and we can do nothing, other than get a lawyer that cost thousands!! Even after paying them they will not do as they said, not even fax me a record of payment or repair the credit they reported?? Help us all someone out there.

I know what your saying but they can and will report it to a credit agency and distroy your credit, they have power to kill ones credit and no one can stop it. There seems to be laws but no one to enforce them? Good luck with them!!

I have received several calls from this QAR from the number 866-778-0624.  I spoke to a live person on 3/12 and told them the person they were calling about must have provided a bad number because I have had this number for 13+ years.  He said that they would log it as a bad number.  It has been 2 days and I just received another call and explained to the woman that I thought we cleared this up 2 days ago.  She was a real ***** and hung up on me; not before mentioning that its a computer is doing the calling and is not smart enough to tell the difference.  A computer is only as smart as the person sitting infront of it, so I rest my case.  I will continue to find some way of stopping the calls without have to pay to change my phone number.  In the mean time, does anyone know a different successful way of stopping the calls?

someone called my cell phone asking for my stepdaughter and saying that it was very important that this person call or her attorney as soon as possible to 866-778-0624 and to give them the claim # when they call.  They actually called my parents and they gave them my cell.  The number they called them on was the fax line # but gave them another # to call me on.  I would not answer any phone that said unknown #, which I didn't, or any 866, 888, 800 #'s.  I do not and I would advise this to everyone.

I am also in the Military and my parents recieved a call in Indiana from "Falzone & Associates" who are in New York, I am stationed in Denver.  They told them that I have 24 hours to contact them or they would contact my Commanding Officer.  They said there was a formal complaint filed against me and would not give out any info.  When I just called right now they were very rude and told me that the person in charge of my account number was not in and I should leave a message, but she said that if I received a call from this person then it must be important!  Does anyone know anything about these people, I still have no clue why they would be contacting or threatening me.

I've gotten calls from QAR over the last month, almost every day and it is always an automated system, it has never been a live person.  They never sent me anything in writing either. I have no idea if this is about a real account or if they are thieves that stole my identity...probably from when they worked in a collection agency.

SO HOW ABOUT I GET A CALL AT 8 PM AT NIGHT FROM THIS NUMBER:  201 285 8269.  I'VE NEVER SEEN THIS NUMBER BEFORE, BUT ON THE CALLER ID IT SAID "BAYONNE, NJ" (THAT'S ALL IT SAID).  AT THE TIME OF THE CALL, I WASN'T HOME YET FROM WORK.  SO I CALLED BACK WITHIN A HALF HOUR. I ASKED "YES, DID SOMEONE CALL FOR ME, CHRIS?" THEY ASKED, "WELL IS THIS CHRIS?"  "YES, HOW CAN I HELP YOU, AND WHERE ARE YOU CALLING FROM?"  THEY SAID "QAR" AND WE REPRESENT CLIENTS.  I ASKED WHAT IS QAR?  THEY COULDN'T EVEN GIVE ME A GOOD EXPLANATION OF WHO THEY WERE. THEY CLAIMED THAT THERE WAS A LAWSUIT AGAINST ME AND THEY CAN REPRESENT ME AS THEIR 'CLIENT'. I ASKED "WHO IS FILING A SUIT AGAINST ME?"  THEY COULDN'T GIVE ME THAT INFO. ALL THEY KEPT ASKING ME WAS FOR MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER!! I SAID "WELL HOW DO I LOOK GIVING YOU MY SOCIAL AND HAVE NO CLUE WHO YOU ARE OR WHAT THIS IS ABOUT??" THEY REPLIED BY SAYING THAT THEY COULDN'T ACCESS MY FILE WITHOUT MY SOCIAL.  SO PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW ARE THEY EVEN CALLING ME OR TELLING ME THERE'S A SUIT, BUT CAN'T GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION.   HELL NO!  THESE PEOPLE ARE RIDICULOUS.....ANYTHING TO SCAM INNOCENT AND HARD WORKING PEOPLE.  DON'T FALL FOR IT!!!

LEFT MSG ON MY CELL CLAIMING I NEEDED TO CONNTACT THEM ABOUT A CLAIM AGAINST ME.  i OR MY LAYWER WAS TO CALL BACK BY 9PM THE SAME CLOWN CALLED MY WIFES CELL WITH SAME MSG.

they called my neighbor and i told them i never got a letter from them.  Message was to call 1866-778-0624 x 233 Laurie Towell I spoke to her and she is very rude.  I was transferred to a Ken Willard who also gave me a spill about a  $300 payment i need to do.  and he can prosecute for issuing a bad check.  I need to know if there's a way to get this people for harrasment.

I keep getting this message from a Kate Campbell stating something about she looked into my background? WTF! What is she talking about? I called her back she said that I was getting sued. I asked her who was suing me she said a group of Attny's from a Riverwalk then she said some Lawyers name. I looked up this Riverwalk and they are a collections agency. Sounds like this Mrs. Campbell is trying to scare me into giving her my hard earned money. Next time I get her on the phone I will record the conversation and turn it over to my attny.....I just wish she calls me again.....

What a debt collector CANNOT do:

Use deceptive practices. For example, threaten you with arrest or  trick you into paying for collection calls.
Use obscene language.
Call you at work after you tell them that your boss does not approve these calls.
Deny you the right to receive a written notice (within five days after your first phone conversation) that would tell you how much you owe and the name of the creditor that says you owe the money. If you do not receive the notice within five days, call the collection agency and ask for its address and fax number. Then, send a letter to the collector noting its failure to send you the required notice. As a minimum, make a note in your file.
Refuse to give its name and the name of the collection company when asked.
Put a debt on your credit report if you file a dispute. It must validate the debt by obtaining a verification of the debt or a copy of a judgment from the creditor before continuing their collection efforts. The results of the investigation must be mailed to you.

If you get a call from her change the script.... record the conversation and then sue her!!

I even offer to verify who I am and my phone number but they tell me I am yelling or gettting excited and will hang up.  They seem to turn everything around like it is my fault.  Anyway, I am the calm one trying to help them find the person they are looking for b/c it would help me by ceasing the numerous calls to my residence at all times of night & day.

These jerks phone every day on my cell phone at the same time. I have never picked up the call...and won't now that I know their scam.

My aunt called me tonight and advised that Paula from QAR called and said that I was a victim of identity theft and she was trying to get a hold of me.  She asked my aunt for a land line telephone number for me, which I do not have.  She gave my aunt a claim number and asked that I call her back right away.  That's fraud if they are attempting to obatin my personal information, such as a phone number, from family members while pretending to be an agency looking out for my best interests (I'm a victim of identity theft?  Ya, right).
