I just got a new phone with a new number.  First time I powered up the phone there were two voice mails, both exactly the same saying that it was an urgent matter reagrding social security #, something you couldnt understand and a persons name I couldnt understand and that I needed to call them back right away.  I have no debt and outstanding credit.  This is some bs.

They are calling and leaving a message repeatedly Who r this people

This company called me saying I owed some money, however, I know nothing about them. I spoke to Lori and she wanted my bank information and when I told her I didn't feel comfortable giving her my bank information she got mad and hung up on me. I then called and spoke to Mr. Price and explained to him what happened and he responded the same way. I have sent a complaint to the BBB. I do not wish to further communicate with these rude and incompetent people.

I noticed there are quite a few numbers that show up for this place.They called my number and it showed as 423-218-1870.They had the right last name but wrong person.I asked what the call was in reference to and the woman told me it was for an application that had been approved.Something needs to be done about these crooked debt collection agencies.

They have called me numerous times and can be quite rude.  They have called my personal and my wife's work cell number.  They have been asked not to call the cell number but they continue to call it.  They have been reported to the FTC because of this.

They use VoIP service which allows them to easily use multiple phone numbers from any state they choose.

My parents received a call from this number today while neither was home.  The message did not state a company name, but did state that they wanted to verify my SSN.  I looked up the call-back number they left and found this thread.  I filed a report with the FTC, who gave me the number for the NY State attorney general.  The irony here is that the number they gave me... was of the "Congratulations, you have been selected to receive a special prize," variety.  Argh!

They called me and said it was urgent.  They must hear from me today.  I first talked to a Justin Palmer.  He had my last 4 digits of my ss #.  I went on to explain why I couldn't pay the bill.  He then put on a Kaitlen Campbell who I again explained my situation.  She insisted that I pay tonight by 5:15 PM because there was a meeting between her and her client, Riverwalk Investors, who want to sue me over this bill.  When I told her I couldn't, she came back with a settlement figure.  No way I could pay it.  She then proceeded to harrass me, telling me that they will sell my car, home, personal belongings, take my pay, checking and savings balance, any IRA and they will dig until they literally strip me completely.  You even had the nerve to tell me to call my dad and ask him for a credit card number.  I knew better not to do that. I thought I was talking to attorneys all this time until I hung up and put in their company and found out all about them.

received message for wrong person here, looked them up. looks like a shake down. It was QAR LLC 866 778 0624 ext. 228 with a file number

My brother received a call from QAR Collect/Falzone Law Office to pay a $1k debt. They confirmed the debt so he authorized an initial $500 charge to his bank Visa. They not only took that $500 but then submitted a SECOND ***UNAUTHORIZED*** CHARGE for $404!  Be VERY CAREFUL about providing these people your banking information as they WILL take more than what you authorized.

Harassment...Rudeness...repeated phone calls to my RI telephone # for someone who does not live here.

I called 866-778-0624...and woman cut me off and hung up.

More phone calls to my home # followed...always leaving a message for Margaret somebody.

I called back Phone # 401-648-0586...and the man hung up on me.

I re-dialed...the phone rang...and click...another hang up.

I used my cell#...and the woman on the other line told me I WAS HARASSING her and she was taping my call.

WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?

OMG I thought I was going to jail also or something.  I do owe this debt and I was trying to work with them to give them some form of payment plan and they were crazy people.  I then called River Walk and she hung up on me too because I told her I am not dealing with those people and if she could not help me with making payment arangements then I dont know what else to do.  I am so happy and feel so much better that I reasearched this CRAZY company!!! Thanks to everyone because without you I would be worring my self to death,,,

I received a call from this number.  It wasn't for me but rather a past resident at this address.  What concerned me was their comment that the call was related to a SS # on file.  After checking the phone number I found this site.  Please be careful.

called my mother and said mt SS# was breached, called them back and were rude and jerks, threatened them witjh Federal Govt, they hung up, called back 3 times, same thing said they have me recoreded being rude...good luck..wouldnt tell me there names except first person, she answered again and told her I was going to her house tonigth, if she calls my mother agaian, i will fly there and do it myself. I worked for the FESD for 5 years, no my laws....  losers

tards messed up with me, they forgot to mask the originating # and i can do a reverse # search. 8506378536 is the # they called my dad with looking for me and i havent lived with him in over 10 years. have fun to anyone that wants to use it to find them as well

In general,these types do have attorneys that oversee what the company does. Do not call them back after they leave a message , or you will be agreeing to do business with them. If by chance they(a real human being) happens to call you , just keep asking them to verify who they are  , and stipulate that they must respond in writing , and to swear to it under penalty of perjury or you will disregard their  inquiries as unverified until they want to be responsible.Any assertions by them concerning law , accounts , bills , or debts should only be responded to by requesting validation with signatures , and identification.
 They will make alot of threats , quote laws , and even say they are in your neighborhood. Do not fall for any of it , just laugh , and ask them to prove it. Bluff , and bluster are their tactics , even to the point where they try to lead people to believe they are cops , judges , and attorneys.
  Also if you like to have fun , then tie them up on the phone( only when they call you) for an hour or so.
When that happens , and they failed to get you to agree to anything , then they won't want to call you any more , and will put your number on an " avoid calling" list.Telemarketers , and collection scams frequently are run out of the same office.

rec'd a call with a recorded message asking for my physical location so they can expedite their investigation. Glad to have read all the info here..so I know what I'm dealing with. Need a big miracle before I can respond to my debts.

If you get a call from these people you need to take the opportunity to have some fun.

After several calls from them concerning my niece Betty(name changed), I decided to call them back.
When I called I had a very bad stutter, wheezing and some panic in my voice.  I almost felt bad for the first man I talked to.  He kept telling me to relax and continued asking me if I was ok.  I pretended to be concerned about Betty and wanted them to let me talk to Betty.  I stutter with panic and possible mental disorder had the first man confused.  After about 10 minutes he hung up on me.

It was so much fun I had to try it again.  I called back but the second man must have been clued in.  He didn't talk but a very short time and hung up.

I still wasn't done, thought I should give it one more call.  Heck they had left several messages on my answering machine.  So the third call must have been giving to a Supervisor.  He threatened me that the local sheriff department had been notified and I would be arrested if I called them back.  That one made me laugh.  How many times had this guy been told that, now he was using it on me.

I fairly certain I couldn't be arrested for this, I watch peoples court all the time.  So I had to make another call to them.  This last one was boring but interesting.  The man immediately after hearing who I was calling about just put the phone down..  What was interesting is that I could hear other voices in the background.  The one I could hear the best seemed to be putting a high pressure life insurance sales pitch to somebody.  I got the impression the seller was trying to add options to the insurance to increase the price.  Seemed odd I could here this type of conversation calling this number.

Anyway, look at it as an opportunity to have some fun on a slow day.

Received a phone call looking for my neighbor.  Identified himself as Paul Reese from the Law Office of W C French trying to get a message to my neighbor concerning a claim that had been filed.  After speaking to my neighbor who knew nothing about this, we found this thread.  We are planning to report this to the Feds.  Thanks for the much apprecaited information listed here.

Boy was I dumb, I listened to this person and it sounded legit.  He was very good at dodging my questions about the name of the company. The caller did give me their number 1-866-0624.  Caller ID 601-680-0161 it that number comes up on your caller ID do not answer it.  They called about an old credit card I did not pay, so I thought this was a legit company.  I offered to pay a settlement payment but that was not good enough wanted to charge me over $150 on top of the original debt.  Would not take a money order or a cashier check.  Had to be a debit card, so like a fool I gave them my debit card number and the code on the back.  

Called the bank the next morning and canceled my debit card after they checked to make sure nothing from this company went through.  I will be calling the BBB to report them.
