It took me four contacts (three by phone, one by online chat) to have my number finally removed from Mortgage Investors's call list.  I also filed a complaint with the West Florida Better Business Bureau, which investigated my complaint and got confirmation from the company that they would stop calling me.  So far, at least, the calls have stopped.  The last person I spoke with at the mortgage company agreed with me that unsolicited multiple calls are not a particularly good way for a business to make friends.

I want you to stop calling my private cell phone, you are ticking me off !!!

THIS COMPANY CALLS MY HOUSE EVERY DAY, I DO NOT ANSWER AS I SEE THE NUMBER ON MY CALLER I.D. I HAVE NEVER DONE BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, I BOUGHT MY CONDO FOR CASH SO I NEVER HAD A MORTGAGE, I HAVE FILED COMPLAINTS WITH DONOTCALL.GOV BUT THAT DOES NOT SEEM TO STOP THEM. IF YOU CAN PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS THAT WOULD BE WONDERFUL.

We have also gotten many calls from this number and are on the DNC list, but to no avail. Finally bought a new Panasonic cordless phone that allows you to block up to 30 unwanted numbers! The caller gets an old fashioned busy signal!  They can call 'till they are blue and all they will get is a busy signal!  Thank you Panasonic!!

Robert, look up the St. Petersburg, FL police department and file a complaint. That is where MIC is located. It works.

I've recieved at least 5 calls a week for the past year from these people and It's really [***] annoying.

I keep geting phone calls from this number and they dont every leave a message.

I just now got a call from this number. (866-812-6662. "Toll Free Call").  They wanted to refinance my VA loan. The trouble is that I paid it off 1989! I'm also on the DNC list. I got a real person and start chewing their [***] for calling me. They switched me to a "supervisor" and I chewed her ass royally!  They SAID that they are Mortgage Assistance Corp out of St Petersburg, Florida and they claim to be veteran owned. I told them that I didn't give a rat's @ss who owned them and that being veteran owned doesn't mean that they won't screw you!   I demanded to know where they got my name and number and who told them that I have a VA loan and she said that they  get the list from a third party but refused to say who.   BUT if you look at the other complaints, it's obvious that the same people are calling for multiple companies OR, more likely, the same company is operating under many different names. She did try to blame the on the VA claiming that they "must" still be showing me as having a VA loan and try to push me off of them but I wasn't falling for that!  I demanded to now why they called me since I'm on the DNC list and then she started trying to blame the feds for not keeping that list up to date! I called BS on that too!

  It's obvious that these people are scammers and that despite everything that they say, they knowingly call people that are on the DNC list and that they attempt to hide their activities by using many different company names.

The "Do Not Call List" is a typical Govenment operation.  Thye spend the taxpayesr money, and do nothing!

I tried filing a complaint with the Do Not Call list folks.  No action.  Typical Government operation.  Spend taxpayer money, and do nothing.

866-812-6662 has been trying twice a day for quite some time, including Saturdays and Sundays. So much for privacy or respect of the old 'Blue Law' system.

called offering remortgage.  Stated to them that I was on the national do no call list and asked by what authority they were calling.  original contact female passed me to a male  neither could answer who gave them the authority.  They seemed to think that by offering a lower intererest rate on my mortgage they had the authority to call me.

I get calls from them several times a day, usually beginning first thing in the morning and stopping sometime around 8 or 9 p.m.  I blocked the number on my phone but it still keeps showing up.  The first time they called they asked for someone completely different (I've had my number for about 5 years now so there is no way they know I have a VA loan.)  I told them that they had the wrong number and then the lady had the gall to ask if there was anyone in the home who was a veteran!  Really?  I am a veteran with a VA loan but I am also active duty and frankly it's none of her business if there is a veteran in the home or not.  Now I don't even answer the phone.

These people call me several times a day EVERY DAY!  I have said more than once that they are an unwanted call and need to stop calling.  Now, when they call I tell them they are in big trouble or ask for the name of the company and they hang up on me, BUT THEY STILL KEEP CALLING!  If I could take them to court I would help out with that in a heart beat.

Just call the St. Petersburg, FL Police Dept and file a complaint.  IT works. This company is located in St. Petersburg.

harrasing phone calls earley in the morning

Thank you so much for the website info.  they've been calling my cell phone several times a day every day.  i once spoke with a woman who was so aggressive it bordered on harassment and i had to hang up on her.  My husband is a veteran- but it doesn't mean i want someone to call me about refinancing and etc.  just finished the chat so hopefully we'll be call free!
