- anonymousThese cretins call my cell every morning between 08:30 and 09:00. Mortgage Investors of America....
I always reject 866 & 855 calls since they are ALWAYS from companies that are like SPAM emails.
I've been getting these calls for about 7 months and from what I see on these web sites, they are targeting veterans of which I am one. However, I never got these calls until I started a policy with USAA which I almost immediately cancelled due to their horrid customer service. There may not be a cause and effect but it is interesting that these calls began only after dealing with USAA - Fed Up in VirginiaReceived 12 calls from Mortgage Investors Corporation over a 13 day period, in violation of my registration on the National Do Not Call Registry and my repeated requests for them to stop calling. I was just awarded a judgment in the Fairfax County Virginia General District Court, case number GV12026503-00 for $5,074.00 for their repeated violations of the Telephone Consumers Protection Act.
If they are harassing you with unwanted calls, take them to Small Claims Court, no attorney needed!- Caller: Mortgage Investors Corporation

- Craig replies to susanCongratulations. By going to their website, you have now verified that they have a good phone number to call and sell to other "telemarketers", along with valuable additional information which your computer and data service provider automatically send back to them as internet identifiers. If you gave them your email address, that can quickly sold to spam/scam/identity thieves posing as legitimate companies. Just visiting their web site renders you vulnerable to cookies, spyware, and viruses. Your decision to allow a friendly Chat session permitted foreign computer code to have access to deeper controls inside your system. Now you're really open for infection. Bad move. NO ONE ELSE SHOULD DO THIS. IT COULD CAUSE TOTAL COMPUTER FILE DESTRUCTION, AND SPREAD MALWARE TO ALL YOUR CONTACTS, INFECTING THEM, THEN INFECTING THEIR CONTACTS, AND SO ON. Vast quantities of personal information from all infected parties is then sent to that helpful telemarketer who initially called you, and to every other malicious hacker who shared in this Data Harvesting operation. Some individuals have profited big time. The fattest successes enjoy public acclaim as legitimate businesses. It's a good gig. Your cooperation is appreciated.

- sikntyrdI have received calls from these imbeciles for over a year. I have reported them to the FCC and told them that I was doing so. The calls stopped for about 3 months and now have started again. I've told them I don't have a mortgage. Now that I see some of you have listed a phone number to call in Florida, I will do so the next time they call. I will also file a complaint with the Florida Attorney General. Thanks to whomever posted that phone number!

- July 2013 replies to kjhTampa Bay Times piece, BILL EDWARDS, MORTGAGE INVESTORS CORP. FINED 7.5 MILLION DOLLARS!!!! Look up the exact date...
- Roger Dodger replies to Jane HofmanTry pissing in the wind. Bill Edwards is a bald, baby boomer f-head doper who got rich scamming disabled vets, even though he's ex-Marines himself??? Backstabbing. That's not even his real name, he changed it post discharge to evade publicity. Don't blame the Department of Justice DO NOT CALL LIST (the real one, not a fake one the scam artists use to lure you into their web of useful data). The feds busted his butt and fined him 7 and a half MILLION smackaroonies in 2013.
- Mr. Woods replies to JohnsonThanks. Thanks to all you fake "satisfied" idiots who say you called back or computer - chatted with some "polite" dick. Not! Think about it, why the hell would happy campers be looking up MIC concerning extreme telemarketing calls...just to proactively spend time convincing disgruntled strangers how normal and cooperative these effers really are? Really. Stooges, color yourself exposed! Jerks.
- inspezzir waca replies to Tick Off VetLook up dude at a luxury resort named Treasure Island, Florida, dude's super-rich, and is living like a pig in schitt on blood money from financially drowning veterans. Sound like fun? Big political lobbyist, plays footsie with GOP heavy hitters. Read up on the CLOSING FEES and be amazed.Go to u.s. FTC COMPLAINT records, hearings, and resultant fines, millions of dollars.
- Darryl replies to NameStop having your cube farm sweat shoppers bug ordinary people who have spread out on huge call lists. Go to Treasure Island and demand a room, spa treatment, and vodka enema snorkling, you'll swoon. Get drunk. Stand on a piano and give a speech about mortgage reinvestment in to day's variable market. Don't walk away with anything less than concert tix for old fart rock bands and the strongest drink they have. Ask for Perez; he's hip to all that's dirty, skanky, potent, and fun.
- DarrellI've been on the DNC list since it started. The Feds or the callers don't care.
