I called them back and asked to be removed from their list.  The lady said it could take up to 48 hours.

I'll get my group from the Navy Seals group and hunt them down! They will certainly end up in the 'bird cage' with the key thrown out!

They are calling my cell number every day also.....it's enough to make a person almost 'go postal'.

They call either early A.M. or like tonight, at 8:49 PM (eleven minutes before legal phoning hours cease). I don't have a "caller ID", so I never 'see' them coming; found out their # by dialing *69. I'm in Georgia; what recourse do I have against them if they're in Florida? Any hints welcome, thank you!

I replied back with my number  and early this morning, not 24 hours later I got another reply.
Ms. Howell,



I have placed your number in my Legal Purge database, which will stop any future calls no later than close of business today.  If you ever receive any additional calls from our company, don’t bother to pick up the phone. Just email me and I’ll investigate.

yes!! COMCAST IS SELLING THESE numbers!!!

YES! this is from MIC, and they do not check the DNC list...and know they are in the wrong! Comcast is selling them the numbers...so here is what you do...because they will hound you until YOU make it stop.
I just called and threatened to turn them in  I said I was not going to wait the 72 hours to be out of their system because that was their problem!! their rule!! I want it stopped immediately! so they put me thru to their legal guy..who's number is 1-800-235-2455 x1290 (he says...I have not tried the # as I had been calling 727-347-1930 their corp office) he assured me it would stop today! I then called COMCAST since I found out they sold the info to MIC after telling me they do not sell this info at 800-854-3642 and told them to immediately purge my number from their system or I would seek legal assistance. So far....all quiet :)

I have been called by this number numerous times during the past month.  I have told them to stop or I will take legal action against them.  I used this information from an earlier post to show them that I have their information for legal action.  I was told the calls should stop with in 72 hours.  I told him that I was going to document all calls from now on so if more calls are made they would be used against them.  I am on the no call list as well.

For many weeks now i have been vetfinv numerous calls every day and all day long. I hit ignore every time now. Being a veteran it is very sad that we have to deal with this on a constant basis. Any way to make it stop?

why dont we all just call THEM about 4 times a day.  should function similar to a text bomb.

Yes, there is a quick way to get these calls to stop. I came across the post of "I gotem to stop" on page 5 and filed a complaint with the state of Florida which is very easy to do at the website provided in that post. After almost 3 months of nonstop calls and trying everything to get the calls to stop, I filed a complaint and within 1 week the calls stopped.

It is a VA Mortgage com.  I am going through this too. I have told them over the phone twice that I am not a veteran and do not need mortgage insurance.they say they will take me off of list, but I guess they don't.  Today I found a post saying:    If you would like to call them to cease the calls you can visit their website,  https://mortgageinvestors.com/index.php

So, I have done this today. I went to the "contact" area on the website and then to "Live Chat"... They promised to handle it today.,Try it!

MIC (Mortgage Investors Corp.) has been calling my home and cell 6 to 8 times a day trying to sell me a VA mortgage. I have asked them each time to seize and remove my name and numbers from their data base. MIC has been calling me every day for the last 6 weeks and will not stop!

Now when they call I just tell them to smell my sweaty balls! They keep calling back so they must like it...I guess it's time to get a little more vulgar with each call.

BTW, All MIC is offering to our Veterans is a BIG SCREW JOB! Skipping your next two mortgage payments isn't worth $8000 to $10,000 closing cost and a higher interest rate then you started with in a few years...do the math!

While I JUST moved into my house, I am a veteran. I receieved a call from this number and answered not knowing who/what it was. They already had my name and phone number. Then started talking about saving more money on top of a VA Mortgage. What concerned me isn't that they already had my name/number it's when they were asking me details about my mortgage that I would have thought someone legit would already know. The older sounding lady said he was going to get a supervisor to talk to me more and put me on hold. I hung up. Now they're still trying to call.

I get a called at least once a day from this number, once in the morning and again at night. This has been going on for months. I never answer but this morning I was feeling chatty so I picked up. I was just going to make myself feel better by screaming profanities at them until they hook up but the call never got connected, oh well, next time, maybe tonight?

Mortgage Investors Corporation continues to call my number daily, multiple times.  I called and asked them to stop, they agreed.  I got a got a couple days later.  I filed a complaint online.

I have been getting multiple calls daily at all hours from this company for the past several months.  I had my computer speed dialer continuously call them back for an hour today    they were pretty pissed.  Giving them back a taste of thier own medicine.

The mortgage company has been calling and pestering me about buying a mortgage. Could you stop them from calling me please I have a very important 12 hour shift aviation job and these people continue to call although I told them I am not interested.

Never bought a house and I am getting calls from these people. Already told them before to take me off their list and the person said I would be taken off in three days. Just to ignore any future calls. That was one month ago and I am still recieving calls from them. They need to stop harassing people.
