Actually, she is a liar, but then again, since their calling you to solicit your mortgage business is breaking the law, what's a little lie between friends?  They sure are telemarketers, who are harassing veterans...nice to have Amerigroup associated like that with illegal solicitations and harassment, yeah?  Way to go, AmeriGroup.  Nice PR.

They call me twice a day even after both my husband and I told them we were not interested.  They are pushy and rude.  I have put my name on the do not call list but I'm sure that won't work either.  But I'm liking the air horn idea.

I get phone calls fron this number almost every day, when I answer they hang up. When the call goes to my voice mail they hang up, no message left.

I have been national dnc list for a long time, I am a vet and I do have a VA loan, these ppl are a huge scam. I have also on multiple occasions asked, told and demanded then to stop calling. I am about to lawyer up and sue them for the harassment. The last few calls have been silent encounters and when I tried to call back they where closed?? It was only 2 minutes after they called me and this has been going on for about 3 months now....

yeah, today I tried sounding like a confused asian person who doesn't speak much english but all I said was "Herro?" repeatedly, and the guy asked if my parents were available after a few of them and then I started changing the sound a little to make it sound like a dog  barooing and he just kinda chuckled and said "OK, I'm just gonna call back in like five minutes" and chuckled again and I hung up on him.  I have already talked to these people and told them we don't need their assisstance and that our VA loan is already as good as it can get, and the woman I talked to agreed that as low as we have our loan for, there is no more she could do to help, but then did not remove me from the call list.  Normally, when I DO happen to be home and answer it, no one makes a peep on the other end of the line, and I think it's because I have kind of a harsh/mean sounding voice and they are waiting for a nicer sounding person to answer the phone.  I swear it is true, I had the same exact situation with some other harrassing calls from the same number, and then one day I try to sound all sweet and from the deep south like I actually am, and they finally answer my Hello and try to sell me crap or get info from me.  I wish they would just stop calling, but usually I'm not home to answer, so I haven't gotten enough chances to answer.

Not really much anybody can do besides that.  Many folks get inpatient and upset when that doesn't stop the calls, but that's not how it works.  More reports in the data base makes it more likely somebody will look into it though.

Have receive 50+ solicitation calls from this number.  Have asked them to stop, they will not. They will not allow you to talk to a supervisor.  Have told them we are on the National do not call list, does not stop them.  This last time the caller was very abusive calling me an "idiot."

They call and then when I answer they hang up. What's the point of that? Very annoying!

Yeah, I got a call from them at 8:45am on a Saturday of all days. I said "Hello. Hello?  HELLLLOOOO?" they hung up. I looked online and read here that they wanted to talk to Veterans. I told the lady that they can't be just going through phone books and dialing any number they want and just assuming a verteran lives in the home. They can't be doing that [***]. I also told her to take our number off of her list since the verteran that used to live here is dead. He died in 2004. Hello? 2004? It has been 7 YEARS since my step dad died. Why do they have to call and be so rude? I mean when I called her she said, "What is your name".  I said, "Wait, your company called me 5 mintues ago and you want MY name, I don't think so. When your company called me I said Hello and no one said anything and your company hung up on me, I'm not giving you MY name. I don't know who you are!"  they are so stupid and rude.

their call dropped. It happens often in telemarketing, I know. I used to be in telemarketing. But more than a dropped call on accident, when I was in telemarketing we were TOLD TO press enter (which means to hang up) if the screen showed they lived in a certian state since we were selling insurance. We had a limited about of authorized agents in certian states. If CA came up and if no agent was licensed in CA, we'd have to disconnect the call. We have no way of controlling who is called. However, in this situation, this company may not have been trying to sell insurance. (I'm no sure). So either they lost the call and call dropped naturally OR they were told to hang up on you if you lived in a certian state.

here's how i got a friendly e-mail from cheryl graham,, i sent her a picture of santa gettin a blo-job,,, a friend of mine sent it to me,, and i sent it to cheryl,, told her she was getting nasty e-mail's like this daily until my name was removed from her nine o'clock at nite call's,,, told her i'd contact amerigroup and tell them about the nasty e-mail's one of the employee's send's me and i send her,, so today i turned on puter,,had a nice e-mail from her asking me my number so she could personally remove it,,, i sent her another nasty e-mail with my number on it,, we'll see,, she may like nasty e-mail's,, but,, send her any type of e-mail,, ever day,, 3- 10 time's a day if it will help,, flood her with them,,, here's her e-mail add.

Yet again; a lie.  It is a solicitation, and they are, in fact, subject to the DNC list. So, what does this tell you about Amerigroup Mortgage?  Let's see; lying, to begin with, disregarding federal DNC list, now...what else? So, do you want to do business with such a group?

my favorite answer to any unwanted call (as in not identified by name) is "hello you are in violation of the federal do not call list and I have your number and the time you called now before I turn you in WHAT DO YOU WANT?" it better be good for you to interrupt my busy day

None. Happens almost daily, sometimes twice per day. This has been going on for months.

Happens here too.  I answer, get a click and the baby is awake!  Ugh!!

I'm on the national do not call list and yet they still call.  I don't even get a live person so I can request that they take me off their list!  How can they get away with that?

Said she was from Amerigroup Mortgage.  Told her I was on the do not call list and she wouldn't say a word.  Told her not to call again.  She still wouldn't say a word.  Had to ask her if she heard me.  She said yes, she heard me.  Told her again not to call again.  She's wouldn't say a word.  Asked her if she understood, she finally said yes.  Told her I was going to file with the Attorney General or whoever handles these complaints and it simply didn't bother her.  What a dunce!
