They continue to call me as well, several times a day.  I have threatened to call the better business bureau etc and they continue to call!! Any suggestions on what I should do?!

This was the fourth or fifth call to my cell phone, but the first time i spoke to anyone.l  They do not leave messages.  claimed they were the "Mortgage Investors of America" and wanted to help out with our VA loan.  Asked what my interest rate was.  Well, any VA loan was taken out where I now live over 50 years ago, and I am not sure they would have the home address from the cell phone number.

I will check when I get back to town on whether they are also calling the home number.  I certainly am listed on the DNC lists

They promised not to call any more -- have to wait and see what happens.

They keep calling and leave no message. I answered it once and told them not interested, but they persist.

I wanted this number to stop calling to me.

I keep receiving a call from this number and it is unwanted.

i answered the first few calls. each call made me very adrenaline pumped. each time they called me, they asked me different questions. when i asked back, they hung up. i found a solution! i blocked the number, so whenever they tried calling me, they'll get my voicemail.

more unwanted calls, they don't say anything when you pick up and never leave a message! they need to stop.  The call shows as toll free call...and how about the calls that show on C.ID as Out of area? They don't even show a #

they call all the time.  disturbing the time I am spending with my family, waking up my kids.  I went to their website and blasted them a million chat messeges with their "live" person.  sent one, refreshed, sent one, refreshed, over and over.  Anymore I just answer the phone and yell NO as loud as I can, then hang up.  They call early in morn till late into the evening every few days.  these people suck.

Apparenlty Mr. Derek Wheeler, evening supervisor at Mortgage Investors Corp, lied to me. He assured me on 11/20/2012 that the harrassing phone calls would stop within 72 hours. On 11/29/2012 at 6:38 pm CST I received yet another call from them. I have filed formal complaints with my state's and the national do not call lists since I am on both, but apparently that means nothing to MIC. This company needs to be shut down since they seem to think that they are above the law. I also file a formal report with the St Pete, FL police dept, but I have no faith in it since this company doesn't listen to anyone.

We should all answer them, then when they ask if there is a veteran living at the location of the number, we all slowly begin to laugh manically until THEY hang up.

Better yet, be creative and make your OWN Mortgage Company Calling script and begin saying it at the same time as they do. How awkward would that be...? Just for laughs.

I get the same call from this telemarketer but it's often from different phone numbers. They ALWAYS ask for the wrong person and when I tell them they have the wrong number, they ask if there is anyone in my household that's military....I have told them time after time "NO military here" and I also have asked them to remove my number from their call list, they tell me they have and that it'll take 48 hours to be completely removed. (which isn't true because I'm still getting these calls months later after my request). I'm sooo annoyed by telemarketers!!!!

Telemarketing is a job created for wimps and low lives. I wouldn't call it a job when the boiler room employee lies and harasses someone on a constant basis. A man/woman who works at McD's is more powerful and courageous than a telemarketing/liar hiding behind a computer in a filthy boiler room.

I have my phone number on the "do not call list". I have been getting calls from this number the "mortgage investors group" several times a day for months.  They are calling about my VA mortgage I had on a house that was returned to the bank. THEY NEED TO STOP!

Cindy something-or-another calling on behalf of VA, asking if the mortgage owner was a Veteran. Let her know this is a business line. Then she tried to ask me about my own personal situation. Hung up. Not interested. As the daughter of a Vet I find it highly offensive that they are targeting older Vet's with their "offers". It's disgusting

thank you so much for that info.... I'm going to jump on that ASAP. I've been gtting 2 calls per day for months. almost thought about blocking the call... this is crazy.
