I just reported them to the FL AG and the my local PD for harassment (you have to report the harassment where it happened - not where it started).
I suggest you do the same.

they call everyday.... same time ... called the number back 1 866 812 6662  and it was the Mortgage Investors of America.  Gave them my phone number to be removed from their calling list .. Like that is really going to happen !! LOL

I am on the Do not call list and still get these stupid calls ! !

I pick up, answer and then there is silence on the other end. I wait and then they just hang up. Very annoying. They call about 4 times everyday.

If you have caller I.D. and you don't recognize the number, DO NOT ANSWER!

The best advice is to let anyone that calls leave a message. If it's important, call
them back.

Many of these calls are computer generated, robotic. Calls are made, if you answer
then they know that it is a legitimate number and someone is there at that time of
day. This information is put on a list, sold in blocks of 1000 in area code category.

Protect yourself, don't answer.
Enter the caller's number into Google, do a search, learn the identity.
Tell your friends and family.

Amen to that! I'm an ex-employee as well. And I agree the attendance policy sucked. And since it's an automated dialer, I guess it doesn't compare the phone numbers with the do not call list (which apparently isn't considered important by the management, i agree about that!). with the money that company makes, you would think they would be able to come up with a better software system that would weed out the current customers. to be honest, i am very glad to be out of there. have had much better self-esteem (and SLEEP!) since quitting. And 48 hour work week doesn't mean working 6 days, have 1 off, and another 6. You could potentially work 13 days straight (and we have all been almost there, if not completely!) before getting a day off. The work schedule is ludicrous and leaves no room for LIFE!! So glad to be out of there! By the way, sounds like you might have worked in the Tampa office! Agreed about the favoritism!

Called at 6:03 PM, hung up as soon as I answered. I'll report them regardless if it works or not.

Just filed a $13k lawsuit against this company.  They will not stop calling no matter how nicely you ask them.  They started calling me in November 2011.  Four or five requests to stop, a BBB complaint with a promise that they'll stop calling, an AG complaint and they are still calling.  The BBB complaint was filed and answered the second week of January.  I've received six more calls since they promised in their WRITTEN response promised to quit calling with the latest call being just two days ago.

Good luck in getting them to stop.  I called the VP's office as someone else suggested and the lady just put me on hold and left me there.

I have recieved dozens of calls from this number, Mortgage Investors Corporation. They claim that someone by the name of Andre Radley gave them this number but I know no one by this name. They reference an address that I did used to live at but I have moved from there and no longer nor will ever live there again. I have told them repeatedly that the individual they are looking for is not at my number but they will not remove me from their call list. I am getting tired of their calls and want them to leave me alone.

How do they get my information so I can just remove it from the source?

How do these people get our info? I would rather take my name off of that list....

I have received calls from these folks several times a day for months in spite of being on the do not call list. I asked repeatedly to be removed from their call list to no avail. Today I filed a formal complaint with the Federal Communications Commission and I suggest anyone receiving these annoying, repeated calls do the same. Maybe a nice stiff fine will get their attention. You can file a formal complaint for violation of the do not call list at www.fcc.gov.

I have files a complaint with BBB and am currently trying to figure how to put a restrainig order on them for harrassment. .    Any ideas any one.

Me too, they call me everyday.   I think we should sue them for harassment.

I get calls from these morons every week, it has gone on for months, I have told them over & over I am on the "No call list" they don't care. I have filed complaints with the no call website, the FCC, & the caller themselves. I have called them and asked to not be called anymore, then the next week they are calling again. WTF is wrong with those people? I am disabled & am sick of being bothered. What will it take? I think I will talk to a lawyer next, I call this harassment.

How about a nice class action lawsuit?

What would be great is to turn the table and get about 10,000 people flooding their phone banks so it would cause an over load.  Configure your system to use a fax tone and dial their number every 10 minutes
