Thank you for the information. I just checked out your link to the Better Business Bureau which states what you indicated that BBB does not have information on the organization.  I received a call from the US Arm Forces Assoc. a few minutes ago.  I told them that I have to check them out before I pledge anything.  The man sais " we are a 501c(3).  I told him that does not prove that they are a worthy cause.  Thank for the info.

I have been receiving calls from these jerks for months now. They used to ask for me and then my wife and sometimes they just hang up. I have asked several times to remove my number from their list. Had one jerk tell me they are exempt from the do not call list and they could call anytime they want. My number is unlisted and I pay to keep it that way. From Sept 3 to Sept 7 they have called me 6 times! They even call at 8:30 pm in the evening. The called id I get is 1-800-877-202-9821. I filed a complaint with the FTC. Right now my 86 year old Dad who lives in Maryland is in critical condition and has to have triple bypass surgery. I don't need these idiots harrassing me. Their office happens to be located in Maryland. I intend to pay them a visit and get this taken care of or the old saying goes "I'm going to kick [***] and take names." Not a threat but, a promise!

First of all, thank you for all the posts.  I am still on the telephone hook of these people (2 calls since 8 this morning and it's not noon yet!)  But, let me assure you they won't get another dime from me and for the following reason:

Not long after sending my first check to these bozos, I got a call back from a representative saying "they hadn't received my payment yet", and wondered if I would send it in.  I had already sent the check. And he got a blistering reply from me!   I have a copy of both returned checks from my bank.  They actually have the gall to act like a collection agency!

I am supplying some of the info offered here and mine own info to our state Attorney General, and may also offer it to a local TV station and newspaper.  This group must be stopped!

Received a call from USAFA national headquarters in October.  They wanted a $20 donation and asked for my credit card number over the phone, I refused,  and asked to have a payment form sent to me.  After checking out all the information on the form, nothing checks out.   They are a fraud.

Thank you for confirming my suspicions about this organiztion. I recieved four calls yesterday, two of which were after I told them I would not contribute. One call was at 9PM. They have already called me twice this morning and it's only 8:30.

I keep receiving calls from this organization, all hours of the day and night. Like others they are so forceful, and won't take no for an answer. I support our troops, but whenever I donate, it's to a local shelter or VFW post.  I registered nearly a dozen times on the "do not call list" but consistently receive calls soliciting money.  They do send a return sheet, and supposedly a copy to submit with your taxes.  But as mentioned, this organization doesn't truly exist.

I received a call from these people from the same phone number that people were complaining about back in 2012.

I asked the guy how they compared with the USO (which I have supported).  The guy first tells me he's never heard of the USO, then later in the call says that they've been hearing some things about them and that they'll have to look them up sometime.  He claimed the US Armed Forces Association was a

I haven't had the time to research this organization but I've never heard of them before.  I went to this website while I was on the phone with them and told them I couldn't help out, but that I do support organizations that (actually) DO support our troops.

    (Sorry, submitted before complete..)

He claimed the U.S. Armed Forces Association was an organization that helped with shelter and accommodations in addition to a whole list of other small items that you tend to hear with other military service groups.

First, thank you for your service. This bunch keeps calling me, once during dinner and the woman said she would wait for me to get my credit card. I hung up on her. Got a call today saying that I had pledged XX and would that amount still be duable? Could  I please pay now by cc to help sooner? I told her to send the bill so I could check them out. She just verified my address, and hung up. Thank you for your information but, could you tell me where you got your information. I can't find them anywhere except here. Which speaks for itself I guess. Thank you once again for your service.

My number is off limits to solicitors. I checked this company out and they are a scam. Eighty percent of what they get goes to administrative costs, only 20% to help the veterans.

Just opened the donations letter and forms and pamphlet I demanded they send me before donating a dime.I am sick to learn of another evil misuse abuse of this magnitude. Feed the Children received $100 dollars from me years ago only shortly after I learned that that "Donation" was put in the pockets of some one or persons whom I expect eat very well.We the People must work harder demanding severe punishment for these unholy parasitic monsters!

I just got my second call from Juneau, Wisconsin (1-920-341-4328). I guess this scam just changes numbers every time they get a lot of flack.  BEWARE of THEM.  I thank all legitimate Veterans for their service.  My brother is a Vietnam Vet and we are proud of him!

I received a call from them, said I would donate $25 because I want to help Veterans, and because my husband is a Viet Nam Veteran. If they are not really helping, I would rather donate to The Wounded Warrior Project, or a local group in our city. Should I not send them my donation?
