Call came in to my number in Clarksville, TN.  Instructions from a male voice stating they were 'John Taylor' instructed me to contact this number in regards to 'a file'.

Left message from John Taylor regardn a file referred to his office call back as soon as possible.  I believe this is a scam phone call.  When I called the number ther are just lines to garnish wages, make a payment.  Never used my name.

I just received the exact same message

A person from this number calls looking for me. Telling me that A collection for a bill will be turned over to an attorney at regions legal. When called said agency....they have no knowledge of a call being made to me. They are trying to get payment over the phone.

Got a call on my cellphone saying they need me to call John Taylor back immediately to verify info on a file that was turned over to them. He said he has been trying to reach me and will be in the office all day and needs me to call him back right away at 866-852-2187. Weird! I am not calling back.

Message on my voicemail to contact John Parker at 866-852-2187. Something about a decision has to be made on a file that has come across his desk. Whatever that's supposed to mean. I got this call on my cell which I've only had for a week. They don't even state who they're trying to reach.

number connected to Regenta Asset Management - some one picked up and asked for some Hary - said no one exists by that name on the number, then the guy mentioned that they will remove my number - need to wait and see if I continue to get - then need to thorw the number.

This company calls once a week and leaves a vague, clearly recorded message on my answering machine. I blocked the number, but "John Taylor" still gets through. I'm going to try blocking the one he rang in on: 8668096415. Wish me luck!

Answered the phone at work yesterday 866-809-6415and got the John Taylor message wanting a call back about "a file". Get recorded calls all day from various marketing firms trying to sell their services so I hung up. Within 30 seconds of hanging up the work phone, my cell phone rang... same message, same recording, same guy. Never asked for anyone by name... I have my doubts that it's legit. Dude don't want to talk to me or he'd know my name.

Also got message stating to call immidiately the number 866-852-2187...I recently posted goods for sale on craigs list and now im getting alot of strange emails and calls like this one.

got an automated call to the dispatch phone in our hospital. Call John Taylor.  I called the number to ask that it be removed and the person hung up on me.

Just received a telephone message from John Taylor instructing me to return his call at 866-852-2187 regarding a file which was referred to his office.

Got the same call from Lisa to call back John Taylor.  Ignoring this call; they are calling me once a week.

Got the same call from this guy.  Same number. Said he needed to discuss a file.  No other info provided other than an assertive request that I call him back.  Sounds like a recording to me.  Annoying.

recieved an automated call from this person saying they had an important file on me and we needed to review the information on it.

I just received a call on my home phone today (11/21/09) at 11:11 a.m. from phone number 203-455-0744 (as per my caller i.d.) and it also said Bridgeport, CT on the screen.

When I picked my house phone I heard the recording with instructions to call "John Taylor" at 1-866-852-2187 immediately, to discuss a file that has come across his desk. The recording did not specify or refer to a particular name or the reason. Me and my husband are deft-free and have no problems with the law; we find no reason to call this person back.

I appreciate all of the information posted, as my first hunch was to get on my laptop and look up "John Taylor's" phone number on Google. It has helped me greatly!

A man name John Taylor left a message on my cell phone today stating that he received my file on his desk and he's being trying to reach me and I needed to call him back today. He left phone number: 1-866-852-2187. The call sounded strange and the man sounded like a answer machine and it was kind of odd to be receiving a phone call like that on a Saturday. Instead of calling him back I decided to google it and I ended up here. Thanks everyone.

Got the call today.  Time stamp on the voicemail was 9:01am  The caller ID only states Lilburn.  The message stated that his name was John Taylor and his secretary has been trying to reach us.  He needed to speak to me regarding a file that crossed his desk.  The call back number he left was 866-852-2187.  He stated he'd be in his office all day.

He never asked to speak to someone in our household by name, so I became suspicious.  He also did not identify his company.

I called the number twice and learned it was Regent Asset Management.  I tried to speak to someone, but was kept on hold with a looping message.  Finally, I hung up.

I looked up the company online and discovered all these complaints.

No one in my household has delinqunet debt.  My child and I are closing on a property on Monday, so our credit has been recently scrutinized.

We are also on the do not call list.

This is a collection agency. In my case they were not looking for me  (thankfully!)

They are not associated with any particular lender, as fas as I can tell.  

They are "Regent Asset Management Solutions."

Message left: This is John Taylor, I have a file of yours that was referred to my office, please contact me at 866-852-2187. I called back, I gave my phone number, they asked if I was "Teri" and I said no, never heard of her.
I had received previous calls asking for "Teri" from previous callers.

This number is for Regent Management Solutions, which is a debt collection agency, they get cases referred to them in order to collect on outstanding balances due.
